My friend and I stayed there for one evening and we were instantly smitten. The hosts Renald and Jose were amazing and caring. We had the room with a jacuzzi. We had the most amazing breakfast. If you you are looking for somewhere to stay in Magog, look no further. You will not be disappointed. They do not have places like these anymore ❤️

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Magog and the surrounding area. It is an absolutely lovely bed and breakfast, with the breakfast exceptional (think of the most buttery, delicious croissants you've ever had!) and the owners, Jose and Renald, welcoming, charming, and helpful. We felt safe with the measures implemented ie. sanitizer at every entrance, rigorous cleaning and spacing, etc. Our room was comfortable, with a jacuzzi and ensuite bathroom. The jacuzzi was much appreciated after long bike rides. We can imagine this also being appreciated after skiing. We would definitely come back.

Renald and Hose provided excellent service and hospitality. The location is a few footsteps away from the main Street. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Hose provided many recommendations on what to do in the area and we felt like we were at home the entire stay. The rooms are a bit dated, however the service and atmosphere make up for it. We will definitely be back!

Excellent welcome and delicious breakfast from Renault and José, who run an old style, friendly, flexible, tastefully decorated and clean place. José lit candles on the porch and brought wine glasses so we could enjoy their garden from the porch.

Renald and José were truly outstanding hosts. They went above and beyond to make my family and I feel at home, and well cared for. The brunch was delicious - and the rooms were very charming! We will be back.

It's hard to express in words the sense of nourishment for body and soul one experiences in this charming place. The hospitality of Reginald and Hose is welcoming and warm, even down to the whimsical breakfast touches, and they are happy to help with local information and ideas. The garden is full of colour and texture, a haven in which to sit and linger.

I can hardly find words to express my gratitude for Amour et Amitie team! Jose and Renald, you are doing a great job! You are so welcoming and open-hearted that it immediately makes your guests feel at home. The hotel is beautifully decorated with vintage accessories because this is a house with history (built in 1875). A royal breakfast is offered in the morning! Omelette and pancakes are delicious! Family suite “Geai Bleu” was very comfortable for a family of four. Thanks a lot for being so kind to our kids! The name of this hotel is “Amour et amitie” which is translated into English as “Love and friendship”. And this is so true! Everything is done with love in there and is full of friendship. We will come back in summer, that’s for sure.
