Pros: great selection of vegetables and meats. Soup base tastes good. Must try the spicy beef and fish tofu. The beef and lamb are fresh and thin. I like them a lot! Cons: Service is below the average. We dined about two hours but no one came to change our plates. I saw only two or three waiters for the entire restaurant. I think it’s an issue with the management team. The noodles were sticky together. The price is really tricky. It’s an all you can eat hot pot, but you need to pay for your pot, like $1.99 to $5.99? There are some items you need to pay extra. There are items that you can only order once, and they cost for the second order. We end up with $166 for four adults and two kids (free). It’s a good place to have hotpot, but it’s not a place I would like or go frequently.

It's much slower than it used to be. There was only one person serving tables. You have to order online but the QR code couldn't be read by my phone and the process was confusing. Items we ordered never came. Considering the price increase it was disappointing. Used to be a great place. It can be a bit confusing if you are not used to hot pot, but ask questions and don't be afraid to try things. The lamb is a very good choice as were all the tofu and vegetables. Location is very well kept. Take your time and enjoy!

2021 Update: It's devastating to witness such a downgrade in quality. Most of the menu isn't available so there wasn't much to eat. The broth is normally tasteless. It broke my heart to write this review. OLD review: Amazing amazing amazing quality and service! Everything is so fresh and comes out as we order, no delay. Wide range of options for vegetarian and vegan too!

The food was fresh and I love how everyone has their own individual hot pot. The service tonight, however, was severely lacking due to the restaurant being understaffed on a busy Saturday night (I do sympathize with our waitresses though, they were doing their best under the circumstances). It was 6:15pm when we sat down and by the time we left, it was 9:53pm. The meat was served at least an hour after everything else and it took a very long time to get our beverages. I'm not one to have high expectations in terms of quality of service in an asian restaurant, but for a hot pot restaurant where everything is mostly just raw ingredient prep, I find the wait was way too long. It's a pity though, because the dingku broth was very tasty and the evening would have been more enjoyable had it not been dragged out in the span of four hours.

I've never seen that much food in my life. It was all very fresh and the experience itself was so much fun!!! The photo only has about a third you can order for that amount of money

The food is very good! A bit expansive and the service a bit slow but its a good place to eat with friends and family if you are not in a hurry! The ordering process is a bit confusing since you don’t know how big a portion is so you can’t decide how many orders to make! The waiter sometimes are not sure if they bring you the food yet or not! I did enjoy this place except for the price and slow service! I will come back again perhaps when they less busy!

Excellent quality foods. All you can eat order place. You cook your own ingredients in a hot pot. A bit on the expensive side but we enjoyed the good taste. I just wish they can replenish the soup with soup and not water.

It is a AYCE hotpot, but they don't bring you the amount of food that you have ordered. Bringing less and smaller portions at a time instead of the amount that I ordered. A few items that I ordered several times were never brought to my table. Overall not impressed, I prefer the self serve concept I can pick how much I want and to ✔️ for freshness of the items. Broth is very light, not much flavor and refill with hot water.

Elegant and grand space. Food was acceptable, the meat was frozen but there were a lot of options, eg. frog legs, reticulum, omasum, chicken gizzard. I really enjoyed the selection of the broths and the quality. The vegetables were often cut too thick and inconsistent but had a nice pattern. Other food, like the fried chicken, fried dough sticks, fried tofu, were really poor in quality. They let you have self-service to make your own sauce, which I found interesting. There's not enough leg room at the tables, but partially understandable because there needs to be room to house the burner internals.

Nice place and good service but the food isn’t as good as we expected. Most meat we had are frozen and the sauces table was a bit messy.

Food always feels fresh! Great choices as well. We went on a Monday and there was only one waitress and it got kind of busy so service got understandably slower. Kind of wanted to help her out because the lamb wasnt coming out fast enough for a table of 7. Haha always liked their creamy corn soup base! But it becomes clumpy near the end because so much lamb is cooked in there! overall great experience as always :) Strongly recommended for hot pot joint!

Will be back! LARGE variety of food (including meats) and I got to try all sorts of new-to-me things (reticulum, lotus roots, etc). Would be a great outing for a group. Everything was fresh, portions were plentiful (pics show maybe half of my order) and the service was very friendly. Lessons learned: My 2 section pot boiled over, which left my non-spicy side VERY spicy. If you really must have a milder broth option, consider separate pots.

Best place I’ve ever tried for hot pot because it’s cheaper than the other hot pot restaurants in Montreal, it’s almost 40$ / person (tips included) There’s a wide variety of options and I couldn’t try them all even if I wanted (but that means I’ll come back!) I wish the pot could be bigger especially when you’re 2 eating with the separator because when it’s boiling and someone’s eating very spicy, it gets mixed easily with the other broth less spicy. The service was fast and the atmosphere was great as the room was really big! The only thing I will warn you about is to not choose the seats by the windows because it’s cold in the winter ! We were so cold that we had to eat with our winter coat

For what you get at the price they charge, you will happy eating hot pot at home. They charge decently for what they're offering, but I would not return. The service is ok as well, keep in mind, things do not come sometimes so you have to keep asking the waitresses to go check in the back.

Went for dinner and was sat at a table with a broken stove. The waiter assured us that they would fix it. They came over, fiddled with it, and left soon after so we assumed it was fixed. When my friends showed up, lo and behold, it was not working. We called them over and they nonchalantly admitted that it wasn’t working… I’m confused to why they wouldn’t bring it up sooner. The restaurant closes at 10 but they took away the sauce station at 9… The downtown location is much better.

I decided to come here one night after a snowfall and didn't feel like struggling with parking in Chinatown. This place is right off the highway and has a parking lot so it was a huge plus for us. The food was good though I felt like the broth I took (mushroom broth) was a bit tasteless. The rest of the items you can offer were pretty standard though it was very difficult to gauge how much food we got when we placed orders as we didn't want to over eat or have a ton of leftovers. Service was a bit cold and on par with most other Chinese restaurants unfortunately. Overall, it's a good place to go when it's cold and you want something soothing and don't want to struggle with downtown issues.

Amazing place, lots of choices for broth and meats. Taste very on point and the spicy really kick you if you’re willing to give it a go. The only reason for 4 stars is staff need better training and food need to comes out faster and accurate.

A superb hotpot place with multiple types of broth offerings and a generous list of quality hotpot ingredients topped with a superb sauce cart to build our own sauces. It's a very fun and delicious experience overall. However, they often seem to run out of slotted spoons to accomodate those who enjoy cooking their food with such tools. The people working there are also effective on service, but initially only seem to be helpful when asked upon rather than helping us figure out the ordering system from the start (for newcomers) and teaching us how the rest of the things work... The ordering system consists of scanning a QR code with our phones to access a table specific menu then ordering from a single phone to make orders easier. It has a learning curve of varying difficulty. This could be solved by just assigning us an ipad in a shockproof/waterproof case. Anyhow once you figure out the ordering system, the rest of the evening is quite fun and most of all very delicious.

Really nice first hotpot experience in a restaurant in Montreal South Shore area! The waitresses really helped us understand how to order through the QR code website, cook food in the hotpot and mix our own sauces! We each had our own broths half and half for the same price as one of the same. It was really tasty! Some are a little spicy so don’t hesitate to ask for which are less spicy. The Tom Yum broth and the mushroom broth are not very spicy and really good! The mushroom sauce and the sesame butter sauce are also very good! The lamb meat and marinated beef and chicken is really good. Also spinach and bokchoy in the broth is really nice as well as egg noodles! Service was really fast although there it started to get full later on and service took a little longer, but we stayed longer and weren’t rushed out so it was really nice! Highly recommend!

It was a good experience. I really like the booths. I like the fact that you can order the ingredients for the hotpot and have them delivered to your table. The only inconvenience is that the pots are on a heat circle instead of in a heat ' hole' in the table But it's was still nice The sauces don't offer that much variety but the choices of ingredients to pick make up for it.

The food is OK, the service is terrible, there's nobody to clear your table when they're plenty of empty plates. You have to run after the staff in order to have services like asking for tea, water... I am not impressed and won't vome back
