O'Good
Food
is
convenient
to
quite
a
few
places
in
the
area,
and
I
was
very
surprised
to
find
a
place
like
this
in
Thies,
especially
so
close
to
the
hotel
where
I
was
staying.
Our
server
was
attentive
and
helpful,
and
the
food,
while
not
particularly
impressive,
was
good.
One
thing
I
like
about
burger
places
in
Senegal
is
that
they
put
ketchup
&
mustard
on
the
side
instead
of
dumping
it
on
the
burger.
Also,
I
think
mustard
in
Senegal
is
better
than
American
mustard.
I
got
the
Double
Burger,
which
comes
with
BBQ
sauce.
The
burger
was
good,
but
there
was
too
much
bread
in
proportion
to
the
meat
and
too
much
sauce,
which
made
it
very
messy,
so
for
the
first
time
in
my
life,
I
actually
had
to
eat
a
burger
with
a
fork
&
knife
(which,
to
their
credit,
is
automatically
provided)!
The
atmosphere
was
nice,
but
the
tarp
cover
on
the
patio
made
for
a
strange
lighting
effect
with
the
sun.
There
were
the
obligatory
mid-20th-century
American
pop-culture
pictures,
but
a
couple
of
them
(namely
Nelson
Madela
and
Che
Guevara)
seemed
a
bit
out
of
place
with
the
overall
theme,
as
my
friend
observed.
That,
however,
doesn't
detract
from
the
overall
quality.
