Two good choices at one place ...Yes Good food good accommodation...That too very close to temple. Amirtham restaurant is at basement of Hotel Kanagabishegam. The quality of food is up to good mark and quantity they served is good enough and adjustable. The service of Dharmendra and his team is fine and upto satisfaction. Visited this place for lunch during temple visit in and around that area. It's located inside Kanagabishekam Hotel. They serve only unlimited veg meals for lunch. The quality and taste of those dishes were good. Meals included - rice, dhal, sambar, rasam, vatthakulambu (too good), Moore, three types of veg sides -potato kootu, cabbage poriyal, pumpkin kootu ,( varies everyday) appalam. Curd is chargeable. Desserts - they served payasam & Ashoka halwa. The place was calm not much crowded during our time of visit, neatly maintained. Noticed they have hung huge painting works of Ilayaraja (known for realistic oil paintings). Staffs were very attentive and courteous. Worth for money.

Our group had booked dinner for thirty people at the hotel reception and they acknowledged the booking. Upon arrival, they said there's no food available and very rudely asked us to leave the premises. The guests were staying in the same hotel too. The restaurant staff were very impolite and rude. Poor co-ordination and organisation by the management of the hotel and restaurant.

Bad experience. It was crowded so there wasn't enough people to serve (to even take orders). The food was not that good. It was okay. Never worth the cost.

Should not give any stars, no option to provide, worst service, my in laws 60th function was planned and food was booked in Amirtham, no proper coordination in serving food, if we need anything we have to wait for 15 mins and that too we have to hassle the waiters and supervisor's everytime. Furtherly we booked 179Rs menu but they provided only 139 menu, no taste on the food when complained the waiters replied like it was free food served to us,also the booking was done for 50 members within 20 they stopped serving sweets and snacks. When asked for sweet we were provided with ice-cream. What an idea sir ji !!!! I suggest not to go to this restaurant, they take orders but cannot satisfy the customers.

Located right near the temple entrance, Amirtham restaurant serves South Indian cuisine. We had the veg meals here. The food was very tasty. The service could be improved as many tables were not cleaned for a long time. Parking and toilet facilities are available here.

There is nothing except meals in this restaurant for lunch. Secondly if you want to eat properly reach the restaurant by 12pm, else you would not get any kootu or poriyal. Poor service and coos food

Worst ever restaurant in Thirukadayur. The manager who wears specs is the worst person I have seen. He has no respect for guests and kept forcing us to finish off a soon as possible. Whatever we booked for in the menu was not available or was spoilt. None cared about serving he guests and the food was of worst quality. Please never consider this restaurant. Instead consider other restaurants nearby. Worst service worst staff worst food. Too much expensive. Worst experience overall.

Had a bad experience. Went for dinner without any order. But there was an order already given by some other party. I was informed that idly and dosa varieties are available but when we visited with family, there was no one who took order and served us. I could have been told its not possible (like other hotel did) earlier itself but instead i was promised for a service. It was embarrassing in front of my guests. Costly too for this kind of service. Costly in terms of breakfast or lunch bulk orders compared to other similar restaurants near by.

Badly tasted food. Sambhar and Pongal were very cold. The server didn’t take an effort to bring fresh sambhar from kitchen, he took the leftover from a table who has their food a while ago. Same with coconut chutney, it was watery, smelling stale, brought as a leftover from other table. While we were leaving, watched him take our leftovers and give it to a new family who came to eat then. Very unethical. Someone should teach them good hospitality. If there’s a zero star I would give that. Nasty! Some food was spilled on the floor and people had walked on that making a mess. Yeow !

We had lunch, dinner and the breakfast next day at amirtham restaurant, everything was fabulous. We came with our two kids and the staff took care of our son while we are having food. Staff was friendly and kind. Ambience of the restaurant is great. Thanks for the delicious food.
