It's a very good restaurant. It provides great food as it is know for one of the best mallu restaurant in Dubai.

Worst behaviour by the waiters no body interested for service, there was not much rush. Waited for more than 15 min not even ready to clean the table even after repeated reminders.

Tharavadu (തറവാട്‌) is a very nice restaurant in Podiyadi junction near to Thiruvalla town. This is the same group in gulf countries also. The meals they provide there contain lots of variety dishes including native items. Variety of biriyanis like fish, Mutton and Chicken are very tasty and delicious. While comparing the price, it's little bit higher in a place like podiyadi. Parking facility is also there in front of the premises.

Tharavad restaurant is located near Podiyadi junction. We had breakfast here in this restaurant after returning from Chakkulathukavu temple. The staff were polite and humble. The restaurant was not crowded. The items we ordered were porotta, appam, chicken curry and beef curry. The appam was not good. The porotta was jot, soft and good. The beef curry was average. The chicken curry was good. The price of food items ordered were at reasonable price. There was enough dedicated parking facility in front of the restaurant. The ambience inside the restaurant was average as it was daytime. The toilets and handwash area were clean but very old and not maintained well. They accept both cash and card payments.

Such a bad experience. When we came the tables were dirty and were not cleaned after the previous customer. We waited for 5 mins. No one bothered to clean the table. We so requested the receptionist for cleaning. Still, the waiters were in such an attitude. So we decided to leave the restaurant. The receptionist called and told the waiters that the customer is leaving, please do the service them the dialogue came from the waiter if they are going let them go. The restaurant was not at all busy when we came and maybe 3 or 4 tables were only occupied. If they do not bother to even clean their tables what will be their kitchen and policy of cleanliness. Restaurant owners, please note; that your employees are killing your dream and investment.

This is near to podiyadi town, very simple and elegant restaurant serving traditional kerala foods. Their beef & duck roast are worth a try. Keep the good work 👌

I think it's expensive as compared to other restaurants. We had our lunch there. Ordered meals and prons curry meals, Karimeen pollichathu. Meals was ok but not that much tasty. It includes a 5 curry dishes like thoran, aviyal, pickles, papadam, payasam, sambar and at last moru. All are good. I'll give meals an average taste level of experience. Prons curry is too expensive with two shelled prons and the taste is not so good. So order carefully. Overall neat and good . Good servicing.

Asked for 3cup of teas.They said noone is coming here for tea. Then i ordered porotta. He said they want time. Staff behavior is so rude. I got insulted. This is my first tym experience

We had our lunch there. Ordered chicken biriyani and fish curry meals, Karimeen pollichathu. Biriyani was just average in taste. Meals were good. Karimeen pollichathu was ok but i felt it was overpriced.

Hands down,the best duck recipe I've ever tasted!!! Try their appam and duck curry if you go there for breakfast. Parotta would have been really nice though with that curry(wasn't ready at that time) Had their egg curry and veg curry too which were also really delicious. Great service

We came here for breakfast at around 11am, and they served very good beef and veg curry. Both of them were really good. Idk about other dishes but what we ate was really good

Had lunch from this hotel. The taste was below average. Not worthy for Rs.105/meal.

Side dishes are good. One item given with thali (moru curry) not able to consume due to bitter taste, also the fish curry not upto the mark. Otherwise it was a good meal.

The quality of the food delivered to me Today 09226/2021 was below par. Also the restaurant assured they will deliver my order but they didn’t.later I got a missed call in my phone from the restaurant and when I called back the restaurant ,the guy who picked the call told me it’s raining and they don’t have a vehicle to deliver my order.it was unfortunate.it was a bad experience today with the quality of the food as well as the non-delivery issue.

I tried with meals.. good one side dishes are ok.... but must try their special meals items of fish... an item with fish Silver pomfret(avoli) masala and fish Silver pomfret(avoli) in banana leaf fry is sooooo good.. must try item... meals ae average rate, but the side dishes we are ordering are medium above rate..

They say it's an AC restaurant but the AC was off throughout. The charges were high similar to that of an AC restaurant. Taste was ok ok. But if you are looking for a value place to have with good ambience, this might not be the place.

Limited items for lunch. The restaurant is big so large gathering can be done. I think this restaurant comes to life in the evening but not sure

We had lunch for 2 people and it wwas 680 rs including one avoli fish curry. The curry neither have any taste or other curries were not very good. Too costly .

I went to this place with high expectations. But they just had 2 items available, and no tea/coffee. While we still dined in (as we were hungry) and the food was okay, I don't think we'll return. A lot of customers stopped by and asked the menu (and in particular wanted tea as it was evening time) and left disappointed. Not sure what's wrong (as in has management given up or was this a one off day).

There are no other restaurants nearby so it is one of best . If you want to eat something good you must travel to Tiruvalla so it is better to come to the tharavad restaurant.
