My first visit here, but I had heard good things about Arul Jyothi. We decided to go there for our dinner today, 7 adults and 5 kids. It's near the main road, car parking is available, but it's tricky. But the good thing is that the security personnel would help you with there whistle and guidance. Ground floor didn't have a table of 10, but they informed me that their a/c restaurant in first floor had space. And I got a corner table, a/c above was not working, but they had set up an air cooler, and it was cool overall. Music was playing here from the speaker. We gave a mixed order, some North Indian items (butter naan, paneer butter masala, chana batoora and poori masala), some Chinese items (dragon gobi and dragon paneer), some South Indian items ( rasa vada, ghee roast, masala dosas - paneer; ghee and plain) , a takeaway of 3 ghee roasts, and to finish, we ordered tea and coffee. If you talk about the taste, Chinese items lacked a bit on the spicy side. Masala dosas - a pinch of salt on the masala would have been better. But the food was good and well prepared. And it was nice in presentation and in hygiene. A nice place to go with your family for a pure vegetarian dinner.

One of the best veggie restaurants in tvm. Located near bakery junction. Recently had masala dosa and sambar vada. Vada is just ok. Attaching some pics of the same. Rates are reasonable aswell. Ghee roast pricing Around 65 is little expensive..otherwise it's fine.

One amoung the better veg restaurant available in heart of the city near TO BRI. MORKNG 6 TO 10PM IS WORKING. It's working in two categories ac and non ac. A.c. categories is mange well but seat are less could be some wating time.

This is a good restaurant for people looking for veg (even for non Keralites). Service is fast, taste is good with variety of south Indian and north Indian as well. We had dosa n executive thali both of which was good.

Very good. Very good ambience, quality food served by friendly staff,that too at Comparatively lower prices. Spacious parking is an added attraction.

A nice vegetarian restaurant in the trivandrum city....Delicious vegetarian food and the ambience is quite good...the ground floor is attached to the parking area and the first floor have a/c facility.the ground floor have a seating capacity of 56 ..the behavior of the staffs are really satisfying and the serving nature feels good for the customers......it's easy to notice in a traffic...Location is between RBI and Panavila junction.

Was ok. Not that great as we expected. Parking is available but the path leading to it was confusing for first timers. Pricing was reasonable.

Good vegetarian food. Have both AC and non AC. Have variety of sweets . Lunch is for 80 rs, which is reasonable. However, except the meals, all other items are over priced. Try their Chana bhaturai with Lassi for dinner, my personal favourite.

Arul jyothi is middle class man's premium. You pay more for the dishes that you get in any tamil vegetarian restaurant. Service is good, their hard work is visible. They have a parking space that can fit 10 to 12 cars, if you are skilled enough to reach there. The ramp that leads to the parking and hotel is so badly engineered that you will need to fight a tiny battle with steering wheel to reach there. Food is expensive yet not spectacular. Tea costs around 25 Rs, I just do not understand the rationale behind such a pricing. Menu not as diverse as mentioned earlier it is as same as you can find in any another tamil hotel. The price makes it a premium option.

We ordered an onion dosa from this place and what we got was a dosa with chopped onions inside, which seems alright if you don't actually know what onion dosa is! The waiters don't actually know what they're serving. Overall a bag experience for us.
