A good cafeteria available in TVM. The food served is tasty and clean. The atmosphere Inside the cafeteria is just great. The cost is very budget oriemted and less. A range of dishes are available here. As this is a government owned cafeteria it's pretty much great. I had Parotta and beef from here which was good. The Bouquet type serving is great. The pay and eat type service is followed here.

Been a customer since inception.Food is okay neither bad nor too good to be precise.Basically self service, tea/coffee from vending machine.packed in plastic covers, and to be served in paper plates. Expect little else you'll be more disappointed.Pricing and quantity is above excellent, quality of food is also okay.Good parking space, less seating space. Menu is limited but its more than sufficient to cater the hunger demands.

The outlet, handled by the Kerala Prisons and correctional services, is pretty good in service yet the rush seems to be a little off. This might be due to lack of publicity. The ambience of a perfect cafeteria with ample space for dining is an attractive aspect. The sufficient parking facility was also applaudable. Take aways are more serviced here.

The food is Very good . Quality is Nice But the problem is with quantity.The quantity of Chicken curry is very low . Not sufficient to eat with 4-5 parottas . And Vegetarian diet is not available here

Food is good and reasonable price. Chicken biriyani is 65 rupees, chicken perattu 60 rupees, chicken thoran 60 rupees, chicken chaps 50 rupees, chicken fry 60 rupees, wheat porotta 1 pkt which has 4 pieces is 32 rupees, fish curry is 30 rupees. Take away and dine in facilities available. Behind the building, there is an open space for dine in and it's clean and neat. Toilet facility available.

Good & Tasty food worth the money

Tasty food with pocket friendly. It is a self service hotel where we can order what we need and have to collect it from the counter and also wash the plate which gives a different experience. Many varieties of food items are available in different time interval .Enough space to sit and have food within the cafeteria or otherwise there is it take away option is also available. Parking is also available

Food for freedom is an initiative of kerala jail department. They distribute packed food in the important spots in Trivandrum city, but in poojapura they started like a hotel, in which you can buy food and have your food in an air conditioned facility. The food is very economical and good quality. The ambience was also very nice.

I had chicken biriyani and chicken chaps from here. Food was average in taste however the price was low. 65 rs for biriyani and 50 for chaps. So it was ok ok. The good thing I felt is you might feel awkward if you are a lady and dine at a hotel alone (not always but sometimes in most of the hotels). But here anyone can come and get their food and have it there itself. So many students and workers are coming here and the food is cheaper too. Also there is parking space as well as benches to sit and have washrooms too. So altogether they offer good service. I haven't tried any other dishes and I am having them for the first time here. Maybe that day the food didn't taste good or it was just my opinion. But I will revisit and try other dishes too some day and I don't want to be judgemental in the first try itself as I could see so many people coming in and having food from there.

Tasty food at a low price. A great initiative by the Prisons department of the Government of Kerala. 'Kanzji and Payar' provided by this cafeteria is the best one i ate in Trivandrum. You can buy parcels from here. Home made chips and other snacks are also available

I bought a maida porotta and chicken perattu. The quality of food offered is good. Self service is followed. U have to bill and pay the amount before buying and not after eating. Then they will provide u with the packed food and a seprate paper plate. U can take both from the counter and find a table and have it. Chicken perattu costs rupees 60/- and maida porotta rupees 7/-. Which is budget friendly considering the quantity taste and quality of food. Cold beverages are also availabe. Parking space is available for car and bike washroom/bathroom facility is also there.

You will get curries for cheap. Prepared and packed for take away. For example Rs 70 for a chicken peralan sufficient for one person. You can get chapathi also packed from nearby outlet of them. One packet of 5 chapathis is 20 Rs

Healthy food at reasonable price. Calm atmosphere. Snacks like Unniyappam, Ullivada, Ariyunda, Bhindia are great. If you are lucky on the day, full round Rava Kesari may be waiting for you for Rs.30/-. Mixed fruit juice is remarkable. Behind the cafeteria there is an outlet for good quality kurtis, nighties and shirts. Artworks by prison inmates are available for sale at this shop.

Decency tasty food at affordable rates. Beverages ( watermelon juice and mixed fruit), soft drinks, ice creams, packet snacks, etc are available too. Customer service is good. Parking is limited. Washrooms are present. A cloth store run by prisons department is too found inside the campus.

Cafeteria food is very good hot and fresh for both veggies and non veggies. Even tea and snacks, ice creams also available at very reasonable prices. On the economy at best price. Either you carry parcel or dine their. Beautifuly made dining hall,is neatly maintained.

This is an initiative of the Kerala prisons department. The food served here is prepared and packaged by prisoners themselves. While the menu is limited, the food is of good quality and hygeinic. The restaurant is clean and large enough. The only drawback is that since all the food is packaged a lot of plastic waste is generated.

An amazing restaurant serving up delicious homely food for pocket friendly rates. Certainly worth a visit. Food tends to finish off quickly, so beat thrle crowd and arrive early if you don't want to miss out the food.

A small and cozy cafe located just beside state correctional home, nearby poojapura circle. Tasty and decent food available at relatively cheaper rates. It has a seating capacity of about 10-20 people. A good initiative by govt of Kerala.
