Indian coffee house (ICH) is a hotel chain run by a series of cooperative societies. It has a strong presence across India and Kerala. It has been a hub for communist movements for generations. Thus it has played a very important role in the politics of India. Once the Indira gandhi government dispersed the coffee board, AKG united the workers and formed ICH. The ICH pazhavangadi is situated inside the karipanal arcade near padmanabha swami temple and transport bhavan. The food served was very tasty. We can always trust the ICH kitchen.

My cold coffee was good and refreshing. I was surprised by their specialty--dosa with beetroot. It did not quench my marsala dosa hunger. The accompanying coconut and okra chutneies complemented the dosa well. This is a budget friendly restaurant. Waiters are sharply dressed. Service was efficient although the restaurant was busy.

This restaraunt requires good ambiences as this is located in a busy area near Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple. This outlet of ICH is having their usual popular items such as Poori masala, Masala dosa and coffee. The curry for poori and dosa is madeout of a beetroot mix.

As of all Indian Coffee Houses and the name saying Coffee is their trademark of quality and taste. It enhances our tastebuds and gives a freshness to our mind and body. Other than the Coffee the other dish that I like is the Masala Dosa. The Masala is their own unique combination I haven't got it anywhere else. It's a must try dish on visiting Indian Coffee House. The way they handle the customer is indeed needs an appreciation to them. Foods fill stomach but Good and tasty foods fill your stomach and mind with satisfaction and happiness. In future also when coming about fooding Indian Coffee House comes to their mind. Keep up the good work and achieve greater heights.

Great food as always with any Indian Coffee House restaurants. We ordered Masala Dosa (ICH special beetroot masala), Vegetable Cutlet, Traditional Filter Coffee and Pazhampori. The service was excellent and all the orders came very fast. The Karimpanal arcade has plenty of parking.

My family and I ordered masala dosa and coffee but they brought only coffee and we had to wait for half an hour for the masala dosa which taste life dust. Indian coffee house lost its old charm. Waiters are too lazy and slow

We were struggling to find a restaurant which was veg and was open in evening as every restaurant told us that they will be open after 6 pm. We were very hungry and were checking Google maps to see if any restaurant is open in the vicinity. We found this restaurant. The restaurant has a very good taste for the rates. We ordered masala dosa, veg cutlet and 2 cold coffees. Everything was good in taste and spicy too. The customer service was also good. The waiter was nice and attentive. The service was very quick. We got our food in 5 minutes.

Somewhat uncrowded coffee house near padhmanabha temple. Parking is available in the shopping complex where the restaurant is located. The food was alright. But the veg cutlet we ordered was too salty.

"At the Indian Coffee House, they offered typical dishes, but there's room for improvement in quality. The female waitress provided decent service, and the coffee was enjoyable. However, the bread omelette and dosa fell short of expectations. Despite expressing our disinterest, an unexpected Uzhunnu Vada was brought to our table, and we had to eat it as it was forced upon us. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities and handwash area were surprisingly clean."

Went there after Temple Darshan. Ordered dosa, jam toast and coffee. I have just one word to describe all - pathetic. I have visited multiple ICH in couple of cities including Bangalore and everywhere the food and coffee was decent but this place simply served everything below par with no care attitude. Only advice would be to my fellow traveller's is not to visit this branch

Indian coffee house located at karimpanal arcade.Vegetarian as well as non veg food available there. After placing the order we waited for food for about 20 minutes.Though there were not many customers at that time. The food was good. The staff served our table with perfect laziness.Beef fry and porotta were good.porotta was hot n crispy.Chicken curry was below avg. Hand washing area is a little congested .Cleanliness is also a little less.Toilet facility is there,Cleanliness is also a little less there.Dining area looked clean. Must try their masala dosa,Uzhunnu Vada, cutlet, beef items ...

I was visiting Padmanabhan when I exited from the KSRTC stand. My family and I were really tired, so we didn't check for any other hotels and instead went to this ICH because we trust they have good food, no matter the location, as we're from Kozhikode. The incident I had was when we ordered 5 masala dosa and coffee. We got 3 burned dosas, and the coffee didn't come. So, I asked the waiter about it, but his response was bad. The thing is, before I knew it, the dosa was already in my stomach, but my brother left it as it is. We didn't argue about this but paid the bill and informed them about the food. Later, we went to the temple by an autorickshaw, and the driver suggested a pretty good vegetarian hotel. We were really satisfied with the food they served and their good behavior. Bathroom and washroom was dirty.

Budget friendly, but the taste of food is average. They don't maintain cleanliness. Sometimes the waiter will be wearing an unclean dress. It's too hot inside.

It's inside karimpanal arcade building which is exactly situated in trivandrum city. But not that crowded. Neatly maintained, unlike many other Indian coffee houses in the city. Though it's inside the building most of the people are unaware that there is an Indian coffee house there.

Date of visit - multiple times in April & May 2019 Typical Indian Coffee House - tasty food, reasonable price, friendly waiters. And not clean premises and toilet. This is a new outlet and it is little cleaner than their other outlets. But the hand wash area and way to toilet could be made better. The toilet itself is cleaner than those in their other locations. Only if ICH management take cleanliness seriously...
