Good place to take your kids on a weekend. There are plenty of rides for kids to enjoy and most of them are in good condition. There is a swimming pool, museum, laser&water fountain all of which need separate tickets. Parking is not a big issue but you have to park by the road side.

The evenings are wonderful here. It gets a little busy in the evenings on the weekends. The atmosphere outside feels clean. The pool follows, which is another attractive facility with a fair hourly basis. Also, there are beautiful view spots and a cycling park that we could rent bikes right from this location. A good location overall for friends and family.

Aakulam Tourist Village mainly have four sections- childrens park for less than 10 year old ( entrance ticket 20 rs for adults and 10 rs for kids below 12 years) )Airforce Museum for all ( 50 Rs per person). Adventure Park ( can be paid each ride seperately or full 13 rides @ 495 rs), Swimming Pool (time slot available with separate rates). For visiting all these section we need to pay entrance ticket in addition to the ticket to visit other sections. Overall its a good hang out place for the family. Adventure park is having zip line though it is of small distance. Highly recommended

This is supposed to be enjoyable to children. Everything is for KIDS ONLY. They are charging for few of the good items too.. snacks also was not good. Lights are there if you are visiting there on evening beware of mosquitos. I went there to enjoy with my family and it disappointed me. For me it was a disaster. No entertainment for adults. Teenagers can be fun to play with equipments may be.

It is located about 10 minutes drive away from the Thiruvananthapuram airport. One can normally give this place a miss. Many areas are still being developed, and the rides and the entertainment costs are expensive. Evenings are good to spend here.. The tall trees and plants give us a fresh atmosphere out here.. There are also good view points, a cycling park where we could rend cycles from here itself.. And next is the pool; another attractive feature with a reasonable price charged per hour.

Recently visited the place, offers a peaceful retreat with its recreational activities. Boating and swimming options add to the fun. However amenities like food stalls and restroom facilities could be improved. They charge 30rs for adults and 20for kids as entry fee, but it's only worth for kids to acess only some few games. All other activites like cycling, rope ride, swimming etc you need to pay separately.

The view at the top of the hill is beautiful and you can see the village from the top itself including Swimming pool, Airforce museum, Boat club, Rope rides, Akkulam lake. There are steps as well as wheel chair pavements available for climbing up the hill. Best option for Couples and families for a nice weekend. Top of the hill there is a cycle circuit, safely fenced for kids as well as adults. Followed by some adventure sports. For drinks and beverages you will find Milma parlour, and you will get tea with hot snacks as well as icecreams. Cons: There aren't any pamphlets or notices for the visitors to go through other than these wall mounted ones regarding the available services of the park. 30₹ for adults. Play area is somehow in good condition. There is a cycle track and cycles are available for kids as well. Rent is very low. On weekends,in the evening, its a little crowded.

Very good place to hangout with family especially with kids. But terrible with mosquitoes sometimes. The rides are not cleaned and maintained properly. Many rides are clogged with water n dry leaves . The cycling area for kids has now transformed into a lovers park.

A very good place to take your kids and spend some quality and peaceful and fun time with family. Pool options are also available.... There is a restaurant also right opposite to the park with affordable rates and variety of options.

This place has been renovated now and is a nice place for both children and people who love some sort of adventure sport (intermediate level). The pricing for the rides is on the very high side; the only thing I felt good about for the price was the swimming pool (you need to bring your swimsuit or you can buy it from them).

Akkulam Lake side is a very scenic location with its attractive landscaping and greenery in close proximity from trivandrum city. The downside is that DTPC has neglected this place since long and it shows in the current pathetic situation of properties here. There is a children's park with a swimming pool and other amenities,though they are still not complete/ poorly maintained. The natural lake is covered with plants, garbage and stinks from effluents. The lake which once offered boating experience to tourists are been abandoned now. The Mini park nearby too has been neglected by the authorities, though it is visited by public to enjoy what has been left over. This location with its natural lake, the nature park with kids playing demands renovation and maintenance which will definitely bring in tourists and local visitors in abundance. Cafeterias, refreshments, boating and other amenities will generate employment for the local population and revenue for the government.. well...hope they too think in similar lines...

Excellent place for kids, they have park, cycling, pool and airforce museum... kids will surely enjoy. Note: pls bring water and food. No shops available inside. Entry - for a family with 2 kids - 50/-, cycling - 20 for kids 30 for adults (30 minutes). Swimming - 50 for kids 100 for adults. Monday holiday for pool, not sure abt park.

Akkulam tourist village is a very good place to spend evening time for kids and family. It is one of the rush free space inside the city having plenty of green and also a clean place. Akkulam Tourist village consists of children's park and swimming pool. Children's park is really good especially for small kids, compared to other parks in trivandrum. Akkulam boat club is also nearby but is not functioning right now. Akilam is in the outskirts of Trivandrum city which has a tourist village with a nice children park with pathways for walking. It also has a swimming pool with options for hourly/daily/monthly/life memberships. An excellent picnic spot, children will surely enjoy as there is play and children park. But reaching the location will be a little tough, but transportation facility is available.

Well clean and silent place

It was a good experience spending time here. The park is there, entrance fee is required (20 for adults). A lot of trees are there from different countries and states The ambiance and silence makes the place entirely different, we will feel like we are out of the city. The pool is awesome. We spent 1 hr there. One person has to pay 100 ₹. And swimming suits are compulsory. We can get it from the office too. For ladies ₹400 and for Gents 200/250 ₹
