We ordered a dessert which was supposed to have 10 ice cream flavours and nuts as per the menu. But it had hardly 6 flavours and fruits. Secondly, the tables aren’t maintained well. Had dirt on the other side. Finally, their salad trays are kept on each table. And is shared with customers that take the table. I, personally, found this hygienic. I won’t be going there again.

I tried their a dinner their from the hut outside. It’s extremely peaceful and felt like home. They have ample parking space and it can occupy 100+ cars. I tried their mutton stew and appam and it was really good. Also tried their barbecue chicken. It was really good too. Stew costed me 320 but worth for it.

Had visited this hotel a couple of times earlier for dining. Visited the place again last day for food, though i was not very happy about the hygiene of this hotel from previous experiences. But now, it seems their quality of service have also come down. Order taking is very delayed, arrogant suppliers and irresponsibility staff. Food is just average and the quantity was very less. They charge 200 rs for a chicken biriyani which is served in a small pot. Quantity of rice in it was very less and the filling is not ideal for an average being. Also, heard from several sources about bad practices and unhygienic kitchen at this restaurant, I have stopped going here. If their motive is just money and not a quality service, then let them handle it themselves. I dont want to put my health at risk.

Once a good restaurant, the present Alsaj is dirty. Neatness not maintained. Wash Basins and Toilets were dirty. Not maintained well. In the dining hall, flies and worms are seen. Service is poor. Lot of Waiting Time. Force to use bottled water in the dining table. Charges are very high. Highly artificial expressions and faking of waitors. But lot of visitors only due to a large parking area Food & drinks: Not up to the mark

Went to the restaurant over here. Its just an average hotel. Not much. The only advantage I feel is there are small huts where you can sit if you come with family. Remaining all is average.

Like all other reviews, vast space and ample parking is a highlight here. We came from breakfast and had appam, idiappam, neymeen curry, as well as veg kuruma. All of it tasted really really good, I do admit. But it was really pricy. 350 for a one plate neymeen curry in Trivandrum really doesn't feel justified enough. But still a tidy, neat and good enough place to eat out. Do try it out when you go by that route.

One of Thiruvananthapuram's oldest and most well-known eateries is Al Saj. First off, I'd want to point out that Al Saj Restaurant has plenty of parking available, which is a huge advantage for patrons who come in their own cars. I must add that Al Saj Restaurant delivers some of the best dishes in the city when it comes to culinary quality. There are many options on their menu, and each meal is made with the highest care and attention to detail. You are sure to find something here that fits your taste buds, whether you enjoy traditional Kerala food or prefer cosmopolitan flavours. Al Saj Restaurant also has a dedicated parcels counter.

Poor food, everything was cold. Not good fo r the value of money they charge. I strongly say it is over priced for the food quality they provided

Employees should maintain hygiene. I see them sneezing and touching their face and not washing their hands or using sanitizers. Food tastes good but very spicy, not for someone who has delicate tummy.

This restaurant is a gem in the city! The food is amazing and the atmospher is so inviting and cozy. The staff is friendlys and accommodating, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu has something for everyone, and the quality of the food is outstanding. I had the meals and it was one of the best I have ever had. My friends and I had a great time and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant

We visited the restaurant. Went there at around 11am. There were only chappathi, porotta and pathiri available. But the food we had was great. Had porotta, chicken curry, beef, and veg kurma. All tasted pretty good. Would appreciate more food options. Ideal for a visit en route to/from airport. Good location, great parking facility.

Visited alsaj recently, ordered meals, fish fry, prawn fry, and beef roast... Side dishes of meals were not that much good, the fish we have ordered wasnt fresh hence returned it. Prawn fry was ok but it was over priced.beef roast was the only palatable item... Anyway in my view this place is overrated and over priced...

Good food and stay. Spacious parking. Lot's of greenery. Calm and quiet area. Overall it's a very good ambience. Family huts are available for dining. Privacy is protected. Ac dining hall is very spacious. Lot's of seafood dishes are available. All are tasty. Nice place to have food with group. Parking space for many buses are available.

Airconditioner very noicy. No ceiling fan in the room. No coffee machine provided ( even small hotels have them) in the room, hence in the morning we have to walk a distance out there to get a cup of tea. Saj restaurant starts only at 8 am. Ofcourse there's an ambience with the hotel in general with a lot of parking space (ofcourse a luxury these days). If not for their convention center, no chance going there again.

The food at the Al Saj was amazing. We had ordered Kerala Parotha and other dishes. But the parotha was so juicy and tender and tasted very fresh. The vegetable korma was also very delicious. The chicken 65 was also very tasty. If you are landing in Kerala at Trivandrum airport, and going through the city to some other place then you should definitely have food here.

Great stay. Location is very much accessible and will get public transit very easily. Have a restaurant in the property itself. Hassle free room service. Food is amazing. Property have a calm ambiance. Friendly staff. Amenities mentioned are almost all available. Will recommend for a nice stay at reasonable price. Not available on oyo or any online sites. Have to go directly to the office for booking or enquiry.

This restaurant holds a nostalgic memory for anyone travelling to trivandrum airport. Although I feel that the taste was better a few years back. I took takeaway a few days back and it was good but the taste was not something that would force me to come back.
