    Sri Venkatachalapathy temple is just 5 minutes away in the South side of Padmanabha temple. One of the old temple under Vishnava sampradayam( culture) and celebrate bramholsavam in the month of Sep-Oct (Purattasi Month in Tamil Calendar).

    It is also known as Srinivasar Kovil, Perumal Kovil, Iyyengar Kovil or Desikar Sannidhi. The temple was built in 1898 and is dedicated to Sri Venkatachalapathy. It is the only temple in Kerala dedicated to Vaishanavite Vadagalai Sampradayam. The temple is situated on the south street of the Padmanabha Swamy Temple.
