One of the best hotels I ever stayed, this is home stay kind of hotel, sea view from balcony is good… it is just sea view not a beach. It is walking distance from Trivandrum domestic terminal, complimentary airport drop and pickup, complimentary breakfast are available. Well maintained hotel and the best part is you can pre book the lunch and dinner, staff will cook as per your menu.

2min drive from domestic airport. Nice view from sea facing room. Well maintained property, clean decorated house & rooms. The owner Nisha & staff Mr. Kumar were very humble, cooperative & helpful. Excellent service. The home-cooked food was authentic & tasty.

Actually this property is not good for a get together and really a disaster. most of them rated this property as the excellent one i don't knw whether they have experienced an excellent stay, this palce is only suitable if you are stuck their because of flights otherwise don't choose this property for any occasional meetings, get-togethers or vacational stay. Rather than this you can pay a little bit extra and go for a star property.

Awesome Home stay .. Exactly in front sea. You will have a perfect stay with awesome breakfast and relaxing sound of sea and Magnificat interior decor of the house. Call them directly for booking you will get 10-20% discount. They will great and treat you like family guest.

The hospitality experienced was way better than a luxury hotel . The owners Nisha, Venu and their 2 little ones made us feel like family. The rooms are extremely beautiful with cozy beds, a spacious bathroom, very well maintained and most importantly clean and hygienic. It has a well equipped fully functional kitchen. For insta pic lovers, the house is full of antiques. For beach lovers, The house is right in front of the mighty sea. They have top notch security as they have cameras all around the house. They will also cook for you for a minimum charge. The food is authentic and mouth watering. You have to stay here atleast once if you are in Trivandrum to experience the warmth of this beautiful family.

Entire property is done so tastefully. Don't feel depressed by the outside view of the property you will be stunned after entering the rooms. Each and every corner has its own rustic beauty. Property owner is very down to earth and always eager to help. Free airport transfer is also available. Food taste and quality is so top notch. I truly felt so welcomed by warmth of people and the staff. Beach view is stunning. Don't rethink your decision. For all those Flight catching people it's the best property you can stay .

It was an excellent experience for me staying at Nutshell. Nisha Chechi and Venu Chettan are absolutely warmest hosts ever and they take care of their guests with personal touch. They arranged airport transfers, lovely home made meals. I’m coming back for sure, it’s a home away home 🤓

Since the moment I contacted the accommodation through one of the main platforms, the owner made every effort to ensure that from the late pick-up at the nearby airport to the welcome, there was constant communication, and the treatment and service were unbeatable. Located just a few meters from the beach and a short distance from the airport, it becomes a highly advisable option. 10/10

We went to see th rooms.. sea face and the 2500 cost Rooms are fine but the place is almost like a broken down area..it faces sea but it's very dirty outside

Very good hospitality, Courteous, just in front of Shanmugam beach, and 300 mtrs from domestic airport. Places such as Padmanabh temple, Attakul Bhagawathy Temple, Chalai Market are 6 to 7kms from resort. Auto charge from Railway station by Meter is ₹120. Same is the charge to Padmanabh temple or other city center areas. During odd hours, rickshaw / auto might charge ₹30 extra. We had flight early morning 3 am, and Nisha ma’am requested us to stay / relax / using one room till 12.30 am. Later, she called us on phone to awaken us and her husband dropped us to the airport. We had food all round here - VERY HOMELY , HEALTHY, and TASTY. BREAKFAST, Wi-Fi and airport pickup - drop is complimentary. Rooms are Neat, Clean, Hygienic. Must Recommended.

It's a wonderful place ,the collections in the rooms are very attractive and rare piece ,it's like home .and break fast is really good . Owner is really very good person ,she is very polite and friendly the way she received.always available for any need and kids are really fun they will help in getting everything ,for locations and managing things . For copule it's will be a unforgettable experience ,i would suggest better go with copule if you need any memory in the life with your sole mate .

I would recommend this place , very clean and spacious rooms. You will get the beach view rooms. The main part of this Nutshell is the owner Nisha anti , her behaviour and communication and interacting with resdisents is next level . Even 5 stars is not enough for this

Nice place, clean rooms and good service. Affordable and close to airport. The road to property is little narrow but accessible by car. Parking also available inside property. Beach facing and well maintained. Overall a good experience for a homestay.

Best Place to Stay if You're in Thiruvananthapuram . Right from the hygiene, security, food, everything is top notch and well taken care of. I stayed there with my family and loved every bit of it , highly recommend for family, solo travelers( male or female), or work related. The interiors are beautifully designed and you'll love to click pictures inside . The outside views are spectacular as it's just opposite the beach so you get sea view rooms too :) . Great location in Thiruvananthapuram as major attractions are nearby and aiport is just at walking distance.The Best part of Nutshell is the owner- Nisha and her two little kids, make you feel warm and like family. She personally takes care of everything from dropping, pickup to the airport to food to hygiene. She's always available. Highly recommend to everyone and will go back there definitely.

The room stank of something like a decaying corpse, so badly that we slept the whole night with the door to the outside wide open. Equally the bathroom stank so badly of drains that we couldn't even bear to use it to brush our teeth. In the morning the promised lift to the airport wasn't there and there was no-one to pay. We messaged, no response. Then we were hounded by endless messages whilst trying to check in, called liars and thieves. By the time her messenger turned up to pick up the money we almost missed our flight. Not a good experience.
