Awesome experience with family during 10 days festival which will happen from July 26 to Aug 5. Especially this year it was very grand due to gold car festivals which used to happen every 10 years once. You will find more peace in the presence of madha and nearby you have muthu nagar beach where you can spend time with kids. As this church was built during the British period, it is part of tourism. Visited this Church during my friend's marriage and came to know that this is the oldest church of the city. It is really so well built and is located in the heart of the city. The architecture is very good and it gives a historic feel. Easily accessible by all and has a very good parking place.

Its popularity among the tourists can be understood from the fact that it is believed to be visited by the great St. Francis in 1542. The church is located in Thoothukudi. The church is located at nearby Tuticorin old harbour. There is no restriction for any religion to visit and pray.

The place has never seemed more beautiful and peaceful. The nice ambiance exudes a feel-good vibe, making it the best place for meditation. There are no religious restrictions in this place. Candles are available outside at an affordable price, but malai is not available here. If you need malai, please buy it at the bus stand.

Very famous church. Once in 10 years grand grand cart festival is celebrated. The church was expanded in the length wise direction with lots of pillars. Those in the back cannot see the mass at all. What a pity after spending lot of crores. Good car parking facility on normal days.
