Iāve
never
been
spoken
to
more
disgustingly
than
I
was
by
the
receptionist
here
(older
lady
with
short
brown
hair).
I
had
recurring
infection
in
a
tooth
that
Iād
had
multiple
root
canals
on
and
it
was
causing
serious
health
problems.
I
called
and
asked
for
an
emergency
appointment
and
she
literally
screamed
down
the
phone
at
me
āWE
DONāT
DO
EMERGENCY
APPOINTMENTS,
TRY
AGAIN!ā.
I
was
stunned.
I
then
asked
for
an
appointment
to
see
someone
and
tried
to
explain
what
was
wrong,
but
she
cut
me
off.
She
then
proceeded
to
question
me,
asking
if
Iād
tried
paracetemol,
etc.
Every
time
I
answered
I
was
cut
off
by
another
question
and
her
tone
was
appalling.
It
just
seemed
like
she
was
trying
to
prevent
me
from
seeing
someone.
Not
sure
why
sheās
a
receptionist
when
she
has
absolutely
no
customer
service
skills.
Iād
been
coming
here
since
I
was
a
child.
Laura
had
always
been
my
dentist
and
she
was
excellent,
but
sadly
she
left
when
Covid
started.
Since
Covid,
this
place
has
seriously
went
downhill.
When
my
tooth
initially
became
infected
again,
my
new
dentist
(also
called
Laura)
told
me
to
leave
it
āuntil
it
becomes
a
problemā.
I
trusted
her
and
thought
nothing
of
it,
so
my
tooth
was
left
infected
for
a
few
months.
I
then
had
a
UTI
which
wouldnāt
clear
up
with
antibiotics,
so
it
then
turned
in
to
a
kidney
infection.
After
another
course
of
antibiotics
it
still
wouldnāt
clear
up.
My
GP
thought
it
was
the
infection
in
my
tooth
that
was
causing
it
as
the
infection
flushes
down
in
to
your
body,
so
I
decided
to
get
the
tooth
removed.
After
getting
the
tooth
removed
and
another
course
of
antibiotics,
my
kidney
infection
finally
cleared
up.
Having
Googled
tooth
infection,
it
appears
that
itās
dangerous
to
leave
a
tooth
infected
as
the
infection
filters
through
your
body
every
time
you
eat/drink
which
can
cause
lots
of
health
problems
-
UTIās
and
kidney
infections
being
the
main
ones!
So
I
find
it
strange
that
Laura
was
happy
to
leave
my
tooth
infected.
When
I
finally
got
my
āemergency
appointmentā
I
asked
Laura
to
take
my
tooth
out
as
Iād
had
multiple
root
canals
on
it
and
the
infection
always
came
back
and
it
was
now
causing
me
serious
health
problems.
She
was
hesitant
to
do
this
and
offered
me
another
root
canal
instead.
I
insisted
no,
I
wanted
the
tooth
taken
out.
Once
it
had
been
taken
out,
she
said
that
Iād
made
the
right
decision
as
the
infection
was
right
up
in
the
root,
so
the
infection
would
end
up
coming
back
again.
I
find
it
strange
that
she
offered
another
root
canal
after
multiple
root
canals
that
always
led
to
infection
again.
She
also
didnāt
x-ray
my
tooth/gum
before
extraction
to
see
where
my
sinuses
were,
etc.
-
she
just
yanked
the
tooth
out.
Iāve
since
moved
to
a
new
dentist
practice
and
the
difference
in
service
and
care
is
staggering.
They
have
a
friendly
receptionist
and
the
dentist
is
very
thorough,
explaining
everything
at
every
step,
doing
x-rays,
etc.
My
sister,
gran,
auntie
and
uncle
have
all
moved
to
different
practices
as
well
after
similar
problems
and
poor
treatment
here.
If
you
value
your
teeth/health
and
donāt
want
to
be
verbally
attacked
by
a
rude
receptionist
then
go
elsewhere!!!
