This is one of the best parks I have ever been to! So much to do, lovely woodland walks along complete with waterfall! The play park is wonderful, so much for kids of all ages to keep them occupied for hours, even has exercise equipment for adults if you feel the need! Tennis courts and a skate park are also part of the park along with a lovely pond with waterfowl, complete with a lovely cafe looking onto the pond.

Lovely place to go with the family. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, it's a rip off and tastes cheaper than cheap.

Went for coffee this am. The shop before the cafe is full of great ideas for gifts although it feels strange to see all the Christmas decorations displayed so soon! Stayed inside today and enjoyed looking at all the bulbs for planting for spring.

This is one lovely garden centre. It's got everything you can think of for a garden. It's very big inside.

Wow, what an amazing park. Loads to do and see. From playarea for the kids, table tennis tables, tennis courts, skateboard area as well as lots of outdoor gym equipment spread around. Walk round duck pond, leads onto waterfall then down onto the Glen walk. If your luck you might find the wall gardens. Finishing of with a hot chocolate and sandwich from the van on site. You really will enjoy.

Had a lovely lunch today with a friend and our kids but then it all went a bit sour… As I was just about to leave a member of staff from the till approached me and abruptly told me where the baby change was. I smiled and said yes I know I used it with my son prior to our lunch being served. She repeated it again and pointed in the direction of the baby change and I reiterated that I know where it is and had already used the facilities. Her response was you don’t change baby’s at the table or use the chairs to change them in here you use the baby change! I was absolutely mortified as I had not changed my sons nappy at the table I had placed him on a chair to get his knitted pramsuit on before placing him back in his pram. He’s a young baby therefore he needs to be laid flat to get into outdoor clothing. He was FULLY clothed and not a nappy or any skin in sight. At no point during the lunch was my sons lower half exposed to a cafe full of people he was fully clothed and sat on my knee for the duration of the visit. I did address this issue with another member of staff and suggested that they learn how to approach customers appropriately with potentially sensitive subjects. An apology would have been nice…

Great park. Very busy, people with their children, dogs, bicycles, prams and scooters. Lovely pond with swans and 3or4 different kinds of ducks. There are squirrels too. Brilliant restaurant with lovely well mannered staff! 👍

Visited the cafe today and to say it was daylight robbery was an understatement! Ordered a Cheese and onion toastie and had to pay an extra £1 for the onions...£8.50! I'm not mean and know garden centres are normally a bit more expensive and also produce prices have risen but that was disgusting! Used to love going there especially at this time of the year but definitely won't be going to the cafe again

First visit to this park and very disappointed as there was only 2 benches and 3 picknick tables. The park itself is very nice but I saw Some elderly people looking for somewhere to sit and rest. Shameful. That's why 2 stars.

What a fantastic garden centre!! If only I didn't live so far away! Amazing array of plants, gifts and garden accessories. Would need to hire a van for the plants I wanted and at great prices!

Huge selection of plants on offer. Something for everyone. Inside has a myriad of things. Everything from scarves to garden furniture. Plenty to catch your eye. Also has a pet section catering for small animals as well as cats and dogs. Last but not least, a cafe. Didn't use it this time but have in the past with no complaints. Plenty of parking although it can get very busy. Be prepared, you may need to wait for a space. Still worth a trip.

This is the first time I have been in here and it was amazing. They have very unusual plants but they are quite expensive. This is a good place to go for unusual gifts. Their range of garden furniture is extensive and so is the range of imitation flowers also.. I bought a book as gift for my Sister and it is about people born in the Fifties and what life was like then also a special container for growing Orchids. Would like to go back soon to see more.

Forth Valley Scone Rangers’ last visit to Rouken Glen cafe was something of a disaster thanks mainly to a huge queue and a long wait for service. Today (20/5/22), no such problems as there was no queue at all even at 1pm. Quite surprising. However, although comfortably furnished, the cafe is very dark except for the tables beside the window. They really ought to consider stronger lighting. The coffee was fine and for once we did without scones as we’d had one earlier elsewhere. Their cream scones did look appealing though. I’ve never been a fan of their shop. I’ve never seen so many plastic flowers under one roof. Each to their own I suppose. The garden area is good though, if on the small side.

Good selection of plants, garden furniture, ornaments and lots of other gardening stuff. We didnt eat in the restaurant but food looked nice. Not sure if this was just a one off but checkout staff very curt. These people deal with the public every day, pkease try and be pleasant to customers. Young staff helping to pack your bag were very helpful and pleasant. Park was lovely, very nice and plenty of parking spaces

The shop itself was full of Christmas cheer! Some lovely items which were not too expensive. The cafe wasn't great. The toasties were luke warm, and the chips were very greasy. Very expensive at over £25 for two.

Beautiful garden centre but very expensive. Ladies toilet should be changed. It's always busy, but to have 4 cubicles, 2 of them are locked for staff only, usually a queue, but I have never seen the staff cubicles being used. Doesn't make sense.

Lovely park, great walks and a really fun play park for the kids. The garden centre has some really nice items but very expensive. Avoid the cafe, absolute rip off, can’t serve butter on rolls or with toast. Two pancakes which are shop bought with a little bit of syrup. Not worth the money or the wait.

Only a bite to eat, fish chips and peas. Did enjoy watching a squirrel enjoy a apple 🍎 outside

Went for some lunch & to see if the Christmas decorations were up. It's a treasure trove of sparkles. Beautiful glittering baubles, giant Christmas trees, A wide variety of decorations to suit all purses. There's so much to look at. The cafe is at the back of the shop & they have a large selection of food & drinks. The cakes look really tasty. The seating area is big & well maintained. The staff are very friendly. The toilets are near the front of the shop. There were only 2 ladies toilets, which may be a problem when the shop is really busy. The gardening side is large & well stocked. There is a good gift selection, near the toilets. Beautiful soft handbags & purses. I look forward to my next visit!!

Nice garden centre with plenty of choice. Can sometimes puck up a bargain and sometimes it's a little more expensive if you can be bothered to shop around. Staff very knowledgeable. Nice place to have a light lunch and shop for a gift or household/garden items. Very clean.

Great garden centre, lovely food and there is always something to catch your eye (like this £300 stag) only downside is they don't allow dogs in.

Great range of plants seeds tools and general garden goods, coupled with the inevitable craft and gift shop. This is a pretty decent place to get things for the garden, and indeed one of the few real dedicated garden centres in the area. The only real alternatives that I know are B&Q and homebase and this is far better than either of those. Well worth a visit.

Breakfast in the restaurant is terrible. Last time I had one like that was in Benidorm! We arrived at 10 min to 5pm on another day to nip in and quickly buy a plant pot to be told by male staff member at the door that they shut at 5. When we said it's only 10 to 5 he just said 'have a good night'with a grin on his face and shut the door on us. Very cheeky! Other garden centres are now our preference even though we live just round the corner! Very poor

Great friendly service. Food temperature could do with upping. Food arrived yesterday of a temperature that meant it had to be eaten quickly before it cooled. Burger served in a cold bun which didn't help, would have expected this to be warmed.

Fantastic park: the place is full of fun, friendly faces and would be a perfect day our if you have a dog or children. Seems safe, secure, didn't see anything wrong at all. There's a restaurant (never went in) that looks nice, a good boatinf pond and a nice waterfall. Great day out!

Few months ago in cafe totally got my order wrong. My next visit, coffee cup had dried in coffee on one side, lipstick on the other side . A plate of soup, about two tablespoons in a bowl , cold and out of a tin , also overpriced. Baked potato and tuna, potato cold , burnt skin , hot in middle, again overpriced. Salad limp, brown. Not good enough. Could be so much better.

Busy Sunday, lunch good but pricey. Freshly cooked though and service quick and efficient. Great selection of Christmas decorations if that's your thing.

Always lots of lovely things to buy . The displays are well laid out . The cafe is a lot better than it used to be. Didn't go to outdoor area as the weather was awful.

👍👍 Lovely atmosphere, beautiful and massive Amazing park for kids of all ages Baby swings, toddler section and then big climbing structures for big kids/teenagers. Well equipped and stunning on the farther side with a beautiful pond/body of water. Highly recommended as one of Glasgows best parks.
