The food is good, staff are good surroundings are good. So - nice place and worth going if you haven't already been. Didn't get 5* because we didn't get the menu we were expecting after having done a bit of research before going. We didn't say anything to them at the time because we were taking guests and these particular guests would have been embarrassed and uncomfortable if we had queried it.

First time at Courtyard with S Side friends. Amazing food, great staff. Brilliant night. Will be back.

Really enjoyed our takeaway from the Courtyard which I got for my birthday. Everything was delicious and fresh and ready for the time we needed. Was very reasonable at around £50 for 4 people with loads left over. Would definitely recommend as the best Indian food I've eaten in the Southside.

Dined at the restaurant after receiving a recommendation and we were not disappointed!! First impressions count and the staff here are friendly, attentive and super efficient. Leo was our server who was exceptional, he listened to our questions about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Kids meals can be an afterthought at some restaurants however not at The Courtyard - the kids Tikka meal was a mini version of the adults and our kids who can be fussy eaters ate heartily. The menu consists of the classic Indian dishes as well as some we hadn’t heard of before such as The Egyptian Chicken which we did try and can only say YUM to everything. Now that we have found The Courtyard it will be on our radar when looking for a good curry. Thank you 🙏

If you are ever walking through Rouken Glen Park & wonder what the amazing smell is, it is here! The food is delicious. The service is lacking sadly just in terms of warmth.

Best Indian restaurant in the South side IMHO. Nice ambiance good service and delicious food.

We had an Itison voucher for the restuarant which is located in Rouken Glen Park. We were slightly disappointed that the voucher didn't give us access to the full menu. We had to choose from a shortened menu. The food however did not disappoint. We felt that the drinks were expensive.

5 star service and food, Sat is a great front man makes you feel like family

We ordered for collection and the food was ready on time when we arrived. Great portion sizes and super tasty, will be coming back again 👍

Food is lovely but attitude of head/waiter manager is appalling. Felt they were rushing us out. Handed bill when never asked for it. Charged over £13 for soda waters!!!!!! . Shame really.

Didn't know this place existed untill we stumbled upon it today and went in for Lunch, the food was outstanding could not fault it one bit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only down point for me was the massive cobweb above us .

Went last night for a wee treat with friends got a piece of plastic in my main dish that I put in my mouth and nearly cut my gums said to waiter and had the cheek to say I will not charge u for your dish.DISAPPOINTING has put my friends off too couldn't eat their own.they said it was a container in the kitchen than was brojenthey got in to my good.come on their is a pandemic going on Disgusting.

Celebrated Dad's 90th birthday. There was 12 of us. Had pre-ordered the food to save time. The Manager was great and ensured that staff were on hand if required. Food was excellent and we didn't have to wait for the starters, mains and dessert. They even cut up the birthday cake. We all had an excellent time and the staff and Manager were brilliant. Highly recommended.

Food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. The staff are young and friendly. Most of the tables are partitioned, creating a more intimate atmosphere.

I'm surprised it took me so long to visit The Courtyard. The food is great and was prepared very quickly. The staff are incredibly friendly so remember to tip them generously.

Was in on Friday night for dinner for my daughters 30th birthday ..First time going, food was amazing, staff very nice place was very clean and great layout 👌 definitely be back 😁

Probably the worst Indian takeaway we have ever had. The rice was all dry and stuck together as if it had been microwaved to excess. The pakora was soft but tasteless. The pakora sauce was like a blend of tomatoes and water. I ordered Aunti Jis chicken Achari but I think Aunti JI must have had the night off as it was bland tasteless with the odd soggy bit of pickle. My wife ordered the Chicken Dopiaza and it was difficult to tell which one was which as they looked and tasted the same bland taste. The only saving Grace was the Garlic Naan which was probably the only thing the chef could cook. I am honest when I say have had better Indian ready meals from the supermarket. Definitely won’t be back and not worth the £40

The food in here is delicious! Some unique starters and mains alongside the good old favourites. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I arrived at the restaurant 30mins earlier than my booking, the staff kindly got us a table very quickly, even though they were really busy. The food arrived very quickly, it was delicious and reasonably priced. Throughly recommend this restaurant.

This Indian restaurant is a hidden gem . My wife myself had dinner here this afternoon our experience was just fabulous. Starting with the staff a pleasant young team with knowledgeable explanations of some food we had chosen . Restaurant layout very spacious with our own privacy within the seating booth Toilets washroom spotless The food was just delicious starters and main meals were a delight to eat . For starter I would recommend king prawn poori which comes in a tasty wrap. Main meal lamb fillets spicy not to hot well marinated large pieces of meat served on platter roasting hot Finished of with Red velvet cheesecake And a dumpling with ice cream . All in it was a delightful afternoon Thanks to all the staff for looking after us Thanks Courtyard we will be back for the food and (fold away table) .

Friendly staff and delicious food

It was our first outing to The Courtyard restaurant tonight, following recommendations from friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavoursome! The staff so warm, lovely and hospitable! I could not recommend highly enough. In addition, the restaurant is immaculate and strictly adhering to all COVID cross infection procedures. Thank you so much for such a lovely night and meal. Will definitely return!! X

Stopped for some outside lunch while walking the dog around rouken glen park. Great pakora and a shared portion of chips to warm you up on a winters day. They showed a real touch of class by bringing out two free hot chocolates for my girls who were frozen drinking their cans of coke! Hence my daughters' insistence that we give a glowing review

Food was over 2 hours late a few months ago and then tonight we thought we'd give them one more chance and they have declined our order twice. Really poor to be honest.

As a food blogger, I was invited to the first year celebrations of this restaurant and I got to try some of their fantastic dishes. Everything was outstanding; service, food quality and atmosphere. I loved the curries and the garlic naan was second to none!Would recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

A fantastic restaurant within the beautiful Rouken Glen Park. Their food is delicious, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about the menu and the dining experience itself is lovely and relaxed. They also have a terrific and efficient takeaway and delivery service.

Wonderfull place to eat or get a carry out.food superb I have lots of new favourites.spiced lamb chops are amazing not too hot but taste is amazing .also the Courtyard special puri.filled with sliced peppers and chicken in an exquisite sauce. Again another new favourite. Staff know their menu well And the handsome Satnam s advice invaluable. Great place to dine.
