My husband and I went to Ravine for dinner after hearing it was the best food in Niagara on the Lake. We were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was cozy and romantic for a cold February date night. Our server was incredibly patient and helpful, talking us through the menu to help us make our choices as everything sounded good. We chose the cheese board and potato soup (with AMAZING biscuit). I had the short rib which was delicious and was so tender it fell right apart. My husband loved the pork chop. We shared the chocolate cheesecake for dessert. I was thankful for the wine pairing with our meal, and I'm still dreaming about the 2020 Meritage.

Brilliant restaurant with exquisite food options. We had the pickerel and the duck. And the summer salad. Everything was fantastic. Though you will pay more than double the price of a bottle of wine that will be less than half the price in the shop only 50 steps away, the food and service manage to legitimize the extra cost. Oh and the wine was fantastic. The sand and gravel Chardonnay was ridiculously good. And that was on the lower end of the price point for their wines. They have a wonderful tent set up in back with live music and spectacular views of the vineyard. And service was excellent. I would highly recommend doing a tasting here even though we did not. We had dinner and the single bottle of wine. But we will return!

Lovely cozy room for some wine tasting. If your a fan of Chardonnay, you must try the Reserve Chardonnay! Very toasty and rich flavoured! Ravine Brut was also great with some citrus flavour and crispy! Strongly recommended!

The view and atmosphere for dinner was excellent. The waitress and customer service are friendly and supportive. We did the reservation 2 weeks ago, they sent me email and phone reminder so that I do not forget. However, I was a little disappointed on the food. The taste of sauce is great, just that the texture of the duck meat is very hard and difficult for me to bite. The beef does not taste too well. Other than that, all my friends and family had a great evening there enjoying the view.

A+! Did wine sampling here, and bought a few bottles - loved everything we tried. The Rose, Small Batch Riesling, and Gewurztraminer were standouts. Winery staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the estate was beautiful. Unfortunately we were in a hurry so we didn't eat at the restaurant, but the setting looked very good.

Had a beautiful afternoon in this winery enjoying amazing food and great wine. Special thanks to out amazing server, Nigel, who made our lunch extra special by his attentive and personal care. We ordered a fruit bowl for the baby and the chef offered to rustle up a special eggplant and tomato dish for her, and she loved it. I loved the mushroom pizza and can’t wait to go back to try the margarita. Our order: Cheese board, mushroom pizza, the burger, the Trout, coffee and an amazing cake. Wine: Cabernet Sauvignon

Dinner at Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery did not offer an intimate setting as we expected. The experience felt more like a hotel resort with live music, large dinning tables and children running around. We managed to secure a small table on the edge of the tent overlooking the vineyard. The view was spectacular! Once we accepted the reality of the evening and blocked the buzzing sound of patrons behind us, we were able to appreciate our dinner and the wonderful surroundings. Food was good, the oven pizza was tasty however, the wine was not our favorite (Reserve Merlot).

I was here for my friend’s wedding last weekend. This vineyard was very beautiful, loved the atmosphere. Staffs did an excellent job at serving everybody in a timely manner. Food was incredible. For starter I had fresh tomato salad was also very refreshing. For the main course I had beef short ribs, which was very delicious and cooked to perfection and paired perfectly well with their wines. Cheesecake for desert was also great.

My partner and I came to Ravine for our anniversary dinner. Upon walking in we were warmly greeted by both the coziness of the restaurant but also by the lovey staff. We ordered the house baked sourdough bread, charcuterie board, braised beef, buckwheat brownie and pavlova. We are foodies and have been lucky to experience many different foods around the world. Every bite at Ravine brought a smile to our faces. Colin gallie and John Vetere are geniuses and have created a menu that quickly during the night has become one of our top favorite meals to date. Our waitress Cheryl was incredibly knowledgeable about the winery, entire menu and wine list. Her extremely personable kindness and attentiveness paired with the food made last night absolutely perfect. If you’re coming to Niagara on the lake, Ravine will not disappoint and will ultimately be a special night you will remember.

Ravine is one of our favorite venues, we are always excited to photograph all of our clients' special moments there! Just a few of the reasons we love Ravine are because their staff are amazing, and the food is unbelievable. They have an amazing cocktail hour with fantastic local beers on tap! The whole venue is picturesque, it’s backdrop boasts of quintessential Niagara/NOTL charm as it is surrounded by the most beautiful vineyards. We would describe the venue’s style as Classic, Elegant, Modern, Vintage and the list goes on! The rows of vines provide the perfect amount of privacy for you to have your special moment when you see each other for the first time on your wedding day. They also have some gorgeous spots for sunset photos that will make your day feel that much more special as the warm glow surrounds you. We can’t recommend them enough and look forward to continuing working with them!

The restaurant ambiance is something out of a hallmark movie. We were greeted with a genuine smile. From start to finish Hanna blew us away!! She exceeded all expectation. If you are coming for a tasting, dinner or just a fun evening out I would recommend Ravine Vineyard Estates. Also the cocktails are fire!!! (That means amazing) The food pairings, exquisite. We’ll be returning. 10\10! Google doesn’t have enough stars!

This was my second time here and I very much enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. They always have fresh ingredients and new menus. When I visited the restaurant, they had St.Patrick’s Day special menu. The dishes we tried were good but little salty for our taste; the mushroom soup was really good though. Would definitely come back when the weather gets warm!

If you are visiting Niagara on the lake I highly suggest to book in advance as wineries and restaurants can be closed early in the week. We were told great things about the rose, which was good and while the food was just okay, the ambience was very enjoyable. Service wise, the staff was very attentive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vine to wine tour and stone oven pizza lunch. Amanda was a great tour guide; she was knowledgeable and easygoing. The wines were super good, we had to take some home. Over our delicious pizza lunch, we also tried and enjoyed the apple and pear ciders. Would recommend making this your afternoon wine tour stop!

This is a dual review as we went on a wine tasting and a dinner. The tasting was excellent. The guy who served our wine choices was knowledgeable in our selections and my wife and was very pleased with his service. The dinner was equally enjoyable as our meals were prepared impeccably and paired with the very best choice of wines. The sever, Tara, was pleasant and very helpful in the choices of our meal selection along with the history of the food preparation as well as the areas of wineries in the area. We hope to return back as this was a memorable stop.

Impressed by the quality of the charcuterie board even though the $10 cheese add-on was very poor (one slice only). Pizza dough was good but quite heavy on the toppings for my liking. Wine (rose charmant) and ambience (vinyard + live music) were the best.

We visited Ravine on the weekend and had a great afternoon there. We had great food and drinks, all while enjoying the views of this picturesque vineyard and listening to some great live music. There are even some soccer balls lying around the field where the kids (and grown-ups too) can kick it around while enjoying your time there. The food is great! The pizza falls into that "best pizza I've ever had" category. It is so good, I had the spicy pep and it was fantastic! I also tried some of the other varieties from my family and they were all delicious! In particular, the margarita, tastes like taking a bite out of the garden! And the mushroom pizza, if you are a mushroom fan, this is it! What a great mix of mushrooms on this pizza. Wine and cider selection is very good too! Such a great place and I would return whenever I find myself in the area again.

One of the best winery in Niagara region which also have a restaurant in it. They have got everything from wine tasting area, tent sitting restaurant, spacious event hall, beautiful vineyard, live music band and a little shop. We have been here couple of times already for wine tasting as well as restaurant. We booked for our Sunday brunch one day in advance, as I heard that it sometimes get busy on the weekends..But there were lots of tables available when we reached there! We had an amazing time on our brunch, the server was very knowledgeable and welcoming. They have couple of vegetarian options on there menu. But we specially went for there mushroom pizza but they were out of it! So the chef made us there featured speciality pizza by substituting pork with the mushroom in it. ❤️ It tasted so well with the Wine: Merlot reserve that we ordered. Overall we had a great time. Will definitely visit again 👍🏻

I love this place. I'm not a wine connoisseur, so I can't tell you if the wines are good or great, but I loved them. I've had exceptional service both times I've been here. The atmosphere on Sunday is great. Open seating overlooking the vineyard. The live acoustic music is fantastic. Service is on point. And the charcuterie board and pizza and sublime. I've only been to Canada twice and I made it a point to come back to this spot the second time.

Beautiful family owned winery in the Niagara area. We visited the place right after visiting the falls and it was a quick drive to the winery. The wines were excellent, but the Cabernet Franc was definitely their best wine. We also got to try the food, and it was delicious. The pizzas are incredibly good, made in a wood burning oven which give you the perfect char. We also tried and eggplant dish that we are still thinking bout. And the staff was super friendly. To top it all off they had one of the best singers you could ask for while having dinner. I don't know her name but she had an angelical voice and she made the evening super special. Highly recommended place to visit while in Niagara.

Had such a wonderful birthday dinner here! We certainly splurged for the occasion ordering a bottle of wine, appetizer and dessert along with our entrees - the Ravine Reserve Patrica’s Riesling was some of the best wines I have had! Our waitress was lovely and attentive, our water and wine glasses never got low. The food was fresh and made with quality ingredients. The menu items were very unique and creative. The ambience was also warm and inviting.

We had lunch there today. The trout is amazing. The balance between the kimchi rice and mint is really something. 5 stars for that. The chicken sandwich is a bit too salty. I wouldn't recommend. Also, they don't have an espresso maker on the premises. A bit of a let down after having two mains and a bottle of wine.

Dinner at Ravine was fantastic! I can't say enough about the food & the service was great. The atmosphere was awesome too - lovely dining experience inside the tent which also made it easy to enjoy the slightly cooler evening weather. The menu had something for every taste. We started with a charcuterie board with added cheese and followed it up with the short rib & my husband had the pizza special. We both loved everything we ate. The short rib was something special tho - I've never tasted anything as delicious - I'll be dreaming of that dish for a long time! Hope to be back in the area soon! Thanks for a memorable night Ravine!

GREAT DINE and WINE EXPERIENCE. After we had a great dinner a few years ago in the beautiful Barrel Cellar, we stopped now for lunch on the patio. We enjoyed the setting and the view. Cheryl, our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and fast with her service. We truly enjoyed the baby beets salad, mushroom soup and wild mushroom pizza. Large enough to share among us two. Of course - liked very much the Chardonnay, Rose and the Cabernet Franc. And there was live music - and too loud. In short - a great lunch experience. We will be back.
