Unfortunately this place does not even deserve one star. We had the same story as many had described here. Awful customer service. Pretentious building and condescending staff. We were a large group and will tell everyone we know about our terrible experience there. The management should be fired and staff re-trained how to deal with public. Stay away!

By far and away the best winery in the region, I'm sure. Well worth the cost of the wine tasting which is by reservation only FYI. But it was the best experience and Cheryl was amazing at helping select wines for us. The most impressive wine and estate, amazing stories behind the wine, we didn't try the resto but it looked great too!!

Really fun wine tasting experience over Canada Day weekend. You're able to taste the various wines that Colaneri has to offer with an expert in tasting, that lasts about 45 minutes. It's definitely worth it, if you're interested in learning something new about wines or Colaneri. For $20, you can taste up to four different wines. They have whites, reds, and icewines. Highly recommend trying some of the reds, like the Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blend, or the Ripasso.

This place is phenomenal but I have to say Camille made our experience even better. She is so sweet and so welcoming. We visited from the states, in-between a wedding ceremony and reception we stopped here with friend to share some wine. Camille was informative and made our experience perfect. She told us about the wine, donkey tours and her love of working their. Also look at this picture she took for us! She is the best.

A beautiful and authentic Italian winery WITH DONKEYS! Chris guided us through from the beginnings of the vineyard, the family history, the geological formation of the vineyard, how vines are pruned, grown, nurtured, picked and finally drank! We were accompanied by Earl and Phyliss, the mini donkeys and had some great photo ops! I felt like I was in Tuscany. It is one of the most beautiful wineries in NOTL. Staff are helpful and friendly and very welcoming. I will be going back again!

This was my first winery experience, and I believe definitely set the standard for winery tours. Colaneri was absolutely beautiful experience from when you enter. It was also very accommodating by one of my errors. Brian helped saved the day and made our tasting absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond customer service. He was absolutely exceptional. We are very lucky to have gotten him as our guide. We even had a chance to meet a couple of the owners of the Winery as they were our and about with all of the visitors. I really recommend this venue as it is a place of luxury and fine wine!

The Colaneri Estate Winery offered a very professional personalized wine tasting in a beautiful setting. Many of their wines are produced using the «Appassimento» style which gives the wine a fuller and bolder taste we truly appreciate. Great selection to choose from. Beautiful winery and overall great experience!

I hadn’t been here since before Covid and it has changed a lot for the better!! I love the outdoor seating, although we were disappointed that there was no pizza available (we were told the contract with that company had ended). We had booked a tasting and unfortunately the staff member who walked us through the wines was not as knowledgeable as others had been in the past. Still, some wonderful wines to be found here. And the atmosphere is always beautiful!

Beautiful winery! Visited last summer and did a wine tasting. The wines are smooth, flavourful and nice. The wine tasting hostess was very welcoming, funny and sweet. The winery is absolutely gorgeous looking with wonderful landscaping and scenery. One of my favorite wineries in Niagara. Will return!

This is the second time I have visited this winery with my family in celebration of our birthdays and, as before, we had an amazing time. The wines are delicious and the staff provide you with individual assistance and explanations of the winery, wines, Colaneri family, and even the labels of each individual bottle! Spend $75 and you're discounted the cost of one of the tastings.

I visited this winery back in 2019 and I bought nearly 20 bottles of wine to have them mature and drink them years later. I just cracked open the first bottle and it’s absolutely delicious! I never doubted it but I’m surprised because I’ve had alot of wine and I can say that I love their wine and winery. It goes great with pistachios, Brie cheese and antipasto. So smooth and a very refreshing.

Visited Colaneri Estate Winery yesterday for a wine tasting with Stacey. She was really knowledgeable, patient and kind. The had a perfect little table reserved for my friends and I right by the window overlooking the vineyard. It was perfect. And there was a customized sign on the table welcoming me and my friends personally. Stacey was great, she explained a lot about each of the wines we picked and the family history of the owners of the vineyard. Had a great experience, would definitely like to come back when it’s warmer. Their Pinot Grigio is wonderful- must try!

Excellent wine. Picked up few bottles while I was visiting and I was amazed by the taste. Not like anything at LCBO. When you try their wine you can't have any other. Now I ship it to my address 7 hours drive! It came nicely sealed and boxed!

An excellent winery with truly exceptional wines. Debbie was a superb and knowledgeable host of our tasting experience, guiding us through the appassimento style of wine production, as well as the beautiful artistry on each bottle. The wine was so delicious that we bought many bottles and the offer to refund our tasting with each $75 purchase was much appreciated. An experience not to be missed in Niagara-on-the-lake wine country!

The good * gorgeous setting and atmosphere * rustic building which really does transport you back in time * the gentleman at the retail shop was kind and explained the building history to us The bad or weird * We were told 30 minutes for a table for 6 and gave my name/phone number. When I checked back after 30 minutes, my name wasn't on the list..and we wound up waiting another 25 minutes. * None of the 4 of us that tried flights enjoyed the wine here (I tried a flight of sparkling, gewurztraminer and syrah) * we ordered the prosciutto pizza. It was fine..not amazing. We asked for chili oil...that was a $3 additional charge. We stared at our waitress dumbfounded. * paper plates It seems like most of the 5-star reviews here are from people who signed up for the tasting. That looked great..but we didn't have time for it and didn't want to spend that much. Maybe that would have improved our experience. We joked that it was 5 stars until we sat down to eat and drink. There are many incredible winery experiences around Niagara. For us, this isn't one of them.

This weekend I had a mother daughter weekend planned for myself and cousins. We had booked a wine tasting for 4pm, Brittany was our wine specialist. She was excellent, we had the best time, she was funny, and knowledgeable. Colaneri knows how to put on a wine tasting, which was enjoyable, educational and we felt treated very special. Thankyou! We will be back! Your winery is stunning, we have a taste of Tuscany in our own backyard.

From the moment we drove up to Colaneri Estate, it was a beautiful trip to Italy. This, hands down has to be my favorite winery in all of Niagara. Everything was beautifully unique. You have paid reservations so it's not overly crowded, view of the vineyard was amazing and Tara serving us our wine was phenomenal. I recommend this to anyone as it is a family owned winery and each wine label tells a beautiful story. Will definitely visit during the summer as well! Thanks for making my bday special!

We booked a tasting at Colaneri and were met by Bob. He was incredibly knowledgable and we had a fantastic time tasting wines with his expertise and guidance. The wines he selected were incredible. Some favourites being the Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Ripasso, and Syrah. The vineyard is spectacular and we had an incredible time. Thanks Bob and Colaneri for a perfect Saturday in June!

Beautiful winery!! The tour with the donkeys was so nice . We learned a lot about the winery and it’s history and the stories about the donkeys from our guides .. Stacey Mathew and Skylar . My apologies if I spelled their names wrong . They were wonderful . The tasting was great as well. Sparkling wine , ripasso and a Pinot Grigio. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful winery !!

The outside grounds were absolutely beautiful! We were expecting way more once we entered. Such a bland interior, we almost thought we entered an employee entrance. Really just a concrete stairway to the retail location upstairs. We left rather quickly. Customers behind us couldn't even enter since there isn't handicap access.
