Amazing! I have been taking my two dogs here for over 3 years now and I can say hands down that I will never change their vet. I moved over 30 km away from the area - and still come to this clinic! Very knowledgeable, gentle, helpful, thoughtful, friendly and caring staff and doctors! Dr. Matt has been incredible! We need more vets like him! Thank you! -Tiger and Coco

Started taking my puppy to this clinic when I got him a year and a half ago. I decided to switch over my senior cat from another clinical shortly after. I recently had to put my cat down, but the patience and compassion shown to me during the process — from diagnosis to his final day, made the heartbreaking experience more tolerable. I’ve always felt that Dr. Matt and Dr. Sam genuinely care for animals and I don’t ever plan to take my pets anywhere else.

Dr. Sam is a great man with great knowledge and attitude. Because of my close friend we’ve been newly introduced to this clinic. His staff are super friendly, facility is clean, service is great, and pricing is reasonable. He explains everything I need to know about my little one, He even spent more than 10 minutes so many times on the phone with me going through my concerns about my dog, and sharing his opinions with me, that’s why I was very comfortable switching to this clinic after 4 years! I wish I could give him 10 stars for his perfect diagnosis ✨“He is amazing”

Would give it zero stars. My mother brought our dog multiple times with concerns about masses and bumps he was developing all over his body. The vet said "he doesn't know what is wrong because the dog won't stay still to be examined and doesn't talk".. Do not know of an animal that does talk but ok. Without a prognosis he convinced my mother to give senior dog surgery for a bump on his eye (which he omitted was harmless) but none of the masses on the rest of his body which were the main concern were ever addressed. He said he would examine these while during the surgery but did not. He also omitted the risks of general anesthesia. FYI GENERAL ANESTHESIA IN OLDER DOGS CAUSE COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT!! To my mother's fault she trusted this man but it was very suspicious to me he kept pushing surgeries when the main concern had still not been addressed. Instead he pushed for more surgeries and MRIs because of money. After the second surgery our dog died within 3 months because of how quickly he deteriorated. I called multiples vets to voice my concern after this MRI comment because everything seemed off. Both able to examine that same dog for a whole hour and half with no issues. Unfortunately at that point there was nothing they could do. He could not walk, see, hold his bladder, eat, nothing. He also gave our dog Gabapentin which further worsens cognitive impairment issues. Our dog did not need any surgery, those masses where all benign. Vet even pushed for MRIs when all his geriatric blood work kept coming back normal (affirmed at my vet as well). Anything to get my mother's money. He put that dog through unnecessary surgeries and killed him, was negligent and under the standard of care. Failed to inform the patient of the DANGERS he was putting our dog through and our dog happened to be the unlucky one that was affected by the side affects of this unneeded procedure. A not so happy holidays grieving a dog that was taken before his time.

I had to switch vets since I live in Toronto now, and this is by far the best place to take your little fur baby. They are so honest and will NOT give you a run for your money. They genuinely care about the animals and what they need. Very genuine doctors here. So lucky to have my dog be a patient here. They go above and beyond!

Shady practices. Would not recommend this vet. Everything is chargeable. They won't give any advice over the phone. Every issue requires a visit. Even after initial treatment, a follow up is chargeable!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Much better, friendly vets around who actually care about their patients and owners.

An extremely helpful and caring vet. Dr. Mahdi and his team were overwhelmingly kind and they saved my Dobey mix from a serious stomach obstruction. They really cared about him. I never once felt like it was "just business", they treated my dog like one of their own from the start and did everything they could to come up with a solution. They were also very comforting when I was dealing with the possibility of putting my boy down. Thank you everyone who helped out with Bronks. I'll never forget and will always appreciate your patience and kindness and willingness to help.

It has taken me almost 6 months to write a review as everyday I still weep over my beloved pup, Rupert. Our fur baby was at the end of his life and almost 13 when we reached out to Beaches-Fallingbrook Veterinary clinic to help him crossover. This was by far the most difficult decision and goodbye I have ever faced thus far in my life...I'm so grateful that his last moments he was cared for and loved by these great humans. thank you for making what was such a terrible time for our family, a peaceful experience and for taking such care and time with us...

The staff is very friendly. I took my two small dogs in for the first time for a checkup and vaccinations. Positive: the vet told me that my senior dog should not be getting his vaccines due to his ongoing health issues. Negatives: things weren't explained to me. I had to ask why getting vaccinated wasn't a good idea so I could understand the reasoning behind it. Once asked it was explained clearly and I understood exactly why. Unfortunately I did feel that I had to ask many questions to understand what was going on. I was also told that the vet did not have time to read my senior dogs history before his appointment which was very disappointing because my dog has had health issues lately and I would have appreciated some more care. Unfortunately I will not be returning. This clinic is probably better for pets that don't have health issues and just need a routine checkup.

This clinic dealt with things compassionately when our dog passed a few years ago and now looks after our new cat. One of the most important things is that you do not get upsold for products or services you don't need. The vet is clear about what he thinks is needed and what is optional.

I brought my 12 year old cat to BFVC this morning for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed by each member of the team. Dr. Sam was patient, kind, gentle, thorough, and ensured that I understood every facet of Leo's treatment. The receptionists and Vet Tech were all equally kind, professional, welcoming, and helped abate what could have been a very stressful experience. I highly recommend their services.

Dr. Sam is a caring, gentle and thoughtful Vet. Our experience with an older cat near the end of her life was as good as it could be. We've recently adopted 2 young cats and have no reservations about bringing them in for all of their health care needs.

One, if not THE best veterinarian practices in toronto. Both Dr. Matt and Dr. Sam are very genuine and amazing doctors. We wouldn't trust our dogs with anyone else and we certainly wont be going anywhere else now that we have found these guys. Recommend 10 times over.

The vets and staff are very compassionate and skilled. Their efforts and explanations, which included details of differential diagnosis and associated testing, were clear and very well explained. I felt my cat had very good, knowledgeable and humane care. I highly recommend this vet clinic.

We can't say enough about how wonderful the Beaches-Fallingbrook Veterinary staff are. Their kindness and expertise are so appreciated when looking after our furry loved ones. They have continuously gone above and beyond to help care for our Apollo and Athena. We are forever thankful for having found Dr. Sam, Dr. Matt, and the clinic. Thank you!

Pretty rough pair of vets they have at this location to the point where I thought they were hurting my poor Kitty during regular examination. Since I live in the beaches it was convenient to go there the three times I did go however each time they seem to say the same thing and prescribe antibiotics even though the symptoms were different (or absent on those three different occasions. Being an animal lover, I can usually sense another one pretty easily. I just didn't see any there. Sorry.

I would not trust my pets with any other vet. Small in size but big in service knowledge and caring. I used to go a big vet clinic in downtown Toronto and they were constantly trying to upswell services. Not this clinic. One of my dogs passed away from cancer in the fall 2022 and I will forever be grateful for the clinic’s compassionate care and prompt return of phone calls during a very sad and stressful time for our family.

Dr Sam, Dr Matt and fellow vets here are the best in the city! Always friendly helpful staff. We couldn’t be more happy and comfortable with the care provided for our pets. Thank you team for all your dedication and care for our fur babies!

This is such an amazing place to take your pet. I took my senior Chihuahua 14 year old dog with dental problems Who also has congestive heart failure to his own vet in New York. They were not willing to remove his teeth because it was too risky of a surgery due to his heart condition. While visiting family in Canada my daughter recommended Beaches Falling Brook. I'm so thankful I took him there. They took such gentle care with him and they did the procedure keeping his heart condition in mind. They did a chest X-ray 1st to be safe and then went along with the procedure and the saved my little guy's life. I highly recommend them. You can tell that they care about the animals. My little guy is so much happier now it has so much more energy now that he is not in pain. Considering all of the teeth that the removed he has recovered remarkably fast and well. No bleeding from the mouth after, no major swelling, and he was able to eat right away. It's only been 5 days ago that he had the surgery and he acts like a much younger and happier dog. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I just love this vet clinic! The staff are incredibly friendly and really make you feel like they are a partner in your pet's health. So many vets and their staff almost shame you into spending a fortune on your pet, but here, I feel like you get great guidance and they aim to keep your pet care affordable.

I have an aggressive dog who cannot be touched. I brought him here after a move across the city from Bloorcourt Veterinary Clinic (an amazing clinic! With doctors that listen to you and care about your pup). I informed the vet of his issues many times prior to visiting and what Bloorcourt would do to provide ample care, which is give him sedatives in order to perform an examination. Fallingbrook has not once provided an examination of my dog and provided no care except writing his prescriptions. Despite me bringing the dog in to be examined! I actually got a new prescription today without the vet even looking at my dog. If you have an aggressive or anxious dog I would recommend you find somewhere else. This is not being written to be disparaging but informative to people trying to find a good fit. Bloorcourt Vet went above and beyond (which before I just thought was their job) and it is a stark contrast with my experience at Fallingbrook.

I had a wonderful first experience yesterday with Dr. Sam! I had to bring all three of my (terrified) cats in for an exam and he was so good with them. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I must also add that the pricing at this clinic is fair and reasonable—I have called around to other vets in the area and Beaches-Fallingbrook offers the best! I trust them with my animals wholeheartedly!

Our very senior dog had an emergency issue today (on a Friday late afternoon) and after calling 6 clinics (multiple ERs including the ER where she sees a specialist) I kept being turned away because everyone was at capacity. Fallingbrook was able to squeeze us in and patched her up, and the pricing is extremely reasonable. I am so grateful for your help!

Thank you Beaches-Fallingbrook staff for a wonderful first impression and for making my puppy, Hudson, feel so welcomed. This was our first visit and I am sure it won’t be our last. I had huge concerns for the well-being of my puppy’s recent surgery that I needed a second opinion, Dr. Matt went out of his way and his time to explain his reasoning and concerns. Thank you so much for your advice, it really was helpful!!

I've never been so happy with a Vet. Our little guy has had health problems since the beginning and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure he has everything he needs. The staff is always very friendly and caring. Big Smiles every time we walk in and i can feel the smile when we talk on the phone as well. Dr Sam is always a pleasure to talk to because you can tell he truly cares about his patients. Dr Matt had preformed a life saving bladder stone surgery on our dog,. I would recommend them to every dog owner.

Hello, I’m a resident in the neighbouring and not a client of the clinic. However, on my morning commute, I’ve noticed that the staff who opens the clinic in the morning tosses burning cigarette butts on the sidewalk. Once she almost hit me, oblivious of her surroundings. It’s disrespectful behaviour, not to mention against the city bylaws and provincial rules on smoking near doorways. I hope that the owners of the clinic address this. I will delete this review in due time. Thank you for your consideration.

I recently had to put my cat down, and I wanted to acknowledge the whole team, especially Jaime, who went above and beyond for me. She picked up the phone after hours and spent a lot of time walking me through post death processes well beyond her work hours. She was so understanding and caring. I appreciate her taking the time, as it helped with my grieving. Although I lost my buddy, this team was so supportive in a difficult situation. I would absolutely recommend this clinic. And again, thanks to Jaimie-you made a world of difference for me.

I recently adopted a cat, and when she developed what seemed like an ear infection, I was in a bit of a panic. I reached out to around 10 veterinary clinics in my neighborhood, but unfortunately, none of them could accommodate me, and I felt like I was being brushed off by everyone. Fortunately, one clinic offered to contact me if there were any cancellations, and the very next day, they were able to see my cat. The staff at the clinic were incredibly kind and gentle with her, and the fact that they followed up with me to schedule the appointment meant a lot to me. Even though it was just an ear infection, I was quite frantic and concerned for my kitty. It's reassuring to know that my cat is in capable hands, and Sam, in particular, was excellent with her. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at the clinic for their help and care. Thank you all!
