I came here to get my ears cleaned. The doctor made the front desk guy brown guy clean my ears!! This guy literally ruptured my ear drum by applying so much pressure to my ear. He didn’t take any of the ear wax out; none whatsoever. He isn’t qualified and now I am in much pain!! He also made me pay $30 for this disservice. I am in a lot of pain and he made me pay. They should be arrested for doing this much harm to people. Why would you make the front desk clerk clean my ears? I am so dissatisfied and in a lot of pain this isn’t fair because of what the brown guy did

This walk-in clinic is really good! The booking system saves everyone a lot of time and makes everything so easy. The office is small, clean, and bright. I’m particularly happy with Dr Sritharan, who seems attentive, kind, and competent and didn’t rush my speech-delayed kid to explain her symptoms. Overall this place has always been an ideal experience.

This walk in clinic was everything I needed today. In a moment of worry for my child, I was met with kindness, empathy, and care. Not only was I seen so efficiently, but the act of kindness the doctor provided for me and my family was nothing I will ever forget. It’s moments like this that makes me believe that humanity still exists! Thank you so much! Highly recommend this clinic!

We had a very good experience here today. My child had an allergy for an undetermined cause, it's serious. We found this walk-in clinic. The front desk of the clinic is very nice and his attitude was very soothing. Under his arrangement, we were able to consult a doctor right away, who gave my child a complete diagnosis. The doctor was professional and patient with us. The staff stationed at the pharmacy was very friendly. All in all, I'm so glad I found this clinic. I will recommend this clinic to the neighbour's' WeChat group. Because people will always need to walk in clinics, in case of emergencies.

Very nice gentleman at reception who helped me out with the registration. The wait was extremely short, few minutes at most (maybe because of the bad weather). The doctor was thorough, took her time and made sure to answer all my questions and gave me advice on what to mention and ask when I go to the ER after. In my experience walk-in doctors rush through your concerns but Dr.Shiroo (sorry for the spelling) made sure to take her time with my concerns.

UPDATE: based on my last visit I decided to bring my child to this clinic. I called to find out the walk in hours because hours are not posted online. After speaking to the Pharmacist he suggested I make an appt and the next time available was 5:45. We waiting for another 1.5 hrs after the appointment time. The doctor did a superficial assessment and said it was possibly viral. Swabs / tests were not done, nothing to understand why my child had high fevers, vomiting and cough. Today my child had a fever again and the response from the clinic was the doctor is not available to assess in person until next week… Why was my child not assessed fulsomely at the time of her appointment… Now her condition is worse. The doctor did call me back and provide further advice to me, but nothing has been finalized. It is highly unlikely we will ever come back to this clinic. Something is quite “off” about how appointments are scheduled and potentially the quality of care. —————————————— I only go into walk-in clinics when I feel my symptoms are not improving and then feel even worse when clinic staff and Doctors do not make eye contact or speak rudely…. Not at this clinic! Today was my first visit to Markville Medical and I was pleasantly surprised. This clinic has an in-house Pharmacy which is an added convenience. The Pharmacist was very helpful and kind, the Associate at the front desk was welcoming, and Doctor Tam was great! He is knowledgeable and took the time to explain his observations and diagnosis. He also advised on next steps and continued monitoring. I felt cared for at this Clinic!!

Showed care for my situation and treated me well. Directly sent the prescription to the attached pharmacy without me needing to do anything. The booking process was also quick and smooth - QR code registration and everyone from the receptionist to the pharmacist and doctor on duty were professional and accommodating, would recommend this walk-in clinic. Can't speak on the appointment system or how it is when the clinic is busy but my experience was stellar.

Very busy clinic. Everyone (doctor, receptionist, pharmacist) there is super friendly and helpful. They actually try to follow up with patients when necessary. The wait time was a lot better than the first time I went.

Visited this walk-in clinic today and the staff were very kind. Dr. Tam was very thorough and knowledgeable. However, the wait was quite long. I noticed one couple came in after me, complained about waiting (15 minutes passed by since they arrived) so the doctor ended up seeing them before me. Seems a little unfair since I had to wait about 1.5 hours to be seen. It would be nice to be told how many people are ahead of us after we check-in to ensure our place in line. Update: Went to this pharmacy to pick up my medication and the pharmacist kindly explained the situation to me and it has now been resolved. Amazing customer service. As a new clinic, they're continually improving their processes. This clinic will definitely be my new go-to walk-in clinic and pharmacy.

Service from the receptionists is bad, not responsible to patient’s test report. The guy never follow up the lab result since i called him 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks later they didn’t even know if my result was received and asked me to make appointment even tho there was no point for appointment without the lab result but the woman kept pushing me to clinic and wait for 2 hrs. I mean these guys only know to book appointments as much as possible to claim allowance from government without caring for patients lab result. Taking too long for month since sample dropped to them. Its their job to follow up but never do the job. Will never visit again.

(Update) I came here a second time. Booked an appointment for 9:30am on a Monday morning. Waiting over an hour to finally get to see the doctor. Had a different receptionist from last time and Dr. Shiro (the reason for my previous 5 stars) is away on mat leave. What’s the point of booking an appointment just for me to sit there and wait over an hour?? Shouldn’t they prioritize people with appointments first? I had to miss work because the whole process ended up taking more than 2 hours. When I expected to be in and out within an hour with an appointment. Absolutely best walk-in clinic I have ever been to. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Dr. Shiro is hands down the best doctor I have had in the GTA. She listened to all my concerns super patiently, asked the right questions, and promised to get to the bottom of my concerns. 11/10 experience and highly recommend!!

I called and made an appointment to see a dr. at this walk in clinic (3 stars). When we arrived, there were about six other people in the waiting room. We waited, and waited. I finally went up to the counter and asked how much longer we would have to wait and they said there was one person in front of us. Again, we waited and waited. We ended up leaving because I had to go to work! What is the point in making an appointment when the patients are seen in the order they arrive? Making an appointment is a plus, HOWEVER, it is impractical to expect people to be seen after those without a scheduled appointment! I would never recommend this clinic.

Excellent facility. Professional and efficient booking system/receptionist. Most of all, a knowledgeable doctor who has the patience to answer your questions. I've been so used to other doctors being impatient with explanations, I usually feel guilty for asking questions at all. At this clinic the dialogue was natural, I can ask regarding referrals, future prevention strategies etc. An overall great experience!

Bad experience with this clinic. It is mainly medical student discussed with me after waiting for almost an hour and the doctor just stopped by and quickly talked to me about 10s and updated the record, then sent prescription to the pharmacy in the clinic. Since my problem is contagious, googles says all the people live with me are supposed to treated together. When I raised my concerns my wife had already been infected and my kids may need be treated as well, the doctor just said that he need to see them first. And the prescription is actually OCT medicines, as a result the issue was still there after using it. It is just a waste of time and money visiting the clinic, try best avoid it.

Great walk in clinic! It’s so hard to find good clinics in Markham but this is definitely one of the best if not the best one. I will say you will have a long wait so get prepared for that. Both the receptionist and doctor were so kind and apologized for the delay. My wait was 1 hour but it’s also because the doctor really takes the time to understand your symptoms which is so important. I’d definitely recommend this place!

I highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Andrew provided me with exceptional care, showing great professionalism and patience. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and patient. She went above and beyond to assist me when I forgot to bring the lab requisition for my blood tests. She promptly printed a new one, which was extremely helpful.

I had a truly impressive experience here. It is airy and comfortable, the opposite of most clinics. More importantly, every member of the staff is helpful and friendly to an elite degree. The doctor gave me a thorough consult, didn't feel rushed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Most important and notable things about this walk-in clinic: - absolutely clean - very friendly staff (one of the staff members noticed someone was lost outside and made the effort to help this person find their way to another office... something you do not see every day. Very nice to see their staff go out of their busy schedule to help another person) - I met with Dr. Sritharan, who was extremely professional and polite. Her level of expertise is unlike that of the "typical" walk-in clinic physicians, as she really takes the time to understand you and your presenting medical concern(s). Also of note, coming from a medical background myself, I feel very confident in her clinical abilities and knowledge which I believe need to be highlighted here in google reviews. Overall, applaud to all the staff here at Markville walk-in clinic and keep up the great work!

I've been here quite a few times. This location is my go-to walk in clinic. Booking an appointment is easy; however, your appointment time usually isn't followed but I understand since there are lots of patients coming in as well and I think there's only one physician who attends everyone. The receptionists, pharmacist, and physicians are nice. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. Will highly recommend!

Clinic encourages you to make appointments. However, they will call and cancel the appointment a day before/ reschedule you a handful of times. Don't waste your time and find a proper clinic with better operations.

This clinic allows online booking for appointments which is very easy and convenient. During my visits, I experienced very attentive and friendly staff and doctors. Their wait times are also better than the other walk-in clinics in the area. Would definitely recommend. :)

Great clinic! The staff was super friendly (talked to Shan and another receptionist). We saw Dr. Tan and he was excellent, what a great doctor. We didn't wait long at all and the clinic is very clean. Will be coming here again!

Clinic very sapcious and great way of dealing with patients. Other clinic have long waiting times but this one has appointment and people are very professional including front desk and pharmacist who explained patiently about the medications. The front desk gentleman was very helpful with getting me an appointment during a busy workday. Doctor Tang was very professional and knowledgeable. He even called me to follow up. This clinic is going to be my top choice. I hope their family doctors will accept patients soon.

Customer service from the receptionist was fine; no complaints in terms of her service. This clinic, however, is very poor along with the nurse and apparent doctor who works there. As previous reviews have mentioned, quality of care falls incredibly short here. This clinic fails to allow clients to even ‘walk-in’ and properly request help for the issues they’re undergoing. Rushed appointment which resulted in them telling me to go elsewhere. The atmosphere surrounding this clinic is very off like another review mentioned; not to mention the nurse is impolite (doesn’t allow you to talk properly before intervening with irrelevant questions) as well as the supposed ‘doctor’ who is selective in who he caters to. I haven’t regretted going to a clinic to such a high degree until today. They wasted my time. Over the phone, they gave a false impression that they would be able to help whereas their actions have clearly contradicted that. Ironically, I sensed intuitively that their service would not be ideal via phone as their communication was poor over call as well (except for the female customer service representative). If you’re going to deny help, do not waste a client’s time beforehand and have them come in. Not a good clinic. Very unprofessional.
