👍👍 First time here and food was delicious. The bacon was phenomenal. It's thick bacon, which I normally don't care for, but cooked just right and my exception. Wife ordered the bananarama, i ordered the old school and daughter had the skinny dippers. Will definitely come by again to try something else... First time here and food was delicious. The bacon was phenomenal. It's thick bacon, which I normally don't care for, but cooked just right and my exception. Wife ordered the bananarama, i ordered the old school and daughter had the skinny dippers. Will definitely come by again to try something else on the menu. Edit: second visit. Wife ordered the berry waffles and daughter ordered Nutella waffles. The berry waffles were phenomenal and my 4 year old daughter wouldn't share her food with us so I'm guessing it must have been really good too.

I had never tried a “waffle experience“ restaurant before. I decided to give this one a try. I always love so examined for breakfast, but was a little hesitant with a waffle sandwich. I’m glad I took the risk and it was an excellent meal. The smoked salmon tasted perfect, very fresh and the waffle itself was quite yummy. It came with a small salad and was a great start to the day!

Do you love waffles? If so look no further! We walked in and were instantly greeted and it's open seating. Our waitress Vanessa was friendly kind and approachable. She answered questions allowed us to substitute certain things and gave her personal recommendations which were absolutely amazing! Whatever photos you see on the menu online is exactly what you're getting. If you don't believe me look at my photos I took. This will now become a top spot not just for breakfast but for brunch and lunch! If you haven't taken the time to stop in you are a thousand percent missing out.

Visited on a Friday morning with a group of 4 and seated right away inside. Cute atmosphere and lots of yummy options on the menu. We ordered Bloody Marys and a screwdriver. Berry waffles, chicken & waffles, chicken sandwich, and burger. Most items were delicious - the chicken sandwich didn't seem to have much flavor. Fries were very good! Prices decent and nice service.

Th restaurant came up as a recommendation on Yelp and the photos looked amazing so we decided to give it a try. Turns out Sundays are their busiest day but I can totally see why. We waited about an hour and ten minutes for a table and we’re seated on the patio (definitely recommend this option as it can get pretty loud inside). So let’s get straight to it - the food: we ordered the chicken & waffles, Johnny Appleseed Waffle (breakfast with bacon) and shared an order of All About the Berries. We agreed that the food was worth the wait. The way the food and spices are paired make for culinary magics. The chicken and waffles were crispy and flavorful, the sweet waffles were sweet without putting you into a diabetic coma and perfectly balanced. Now here’s the less awesome part, the service - the hostess is doing a bang up job managing the masses of hungry people coming in looking for their waffle fix. The diner/bar top area is first come first serve so when we saw a spot open up we went to inquire about our spot in line so we could make an educated decision about whether we should wait or go for the open spot. Upon talking to the nice hostess and server was there and mentioned that she has “three tables ahead of me so service would be slow”. It was a little off putting and I was grateful for waiting for our spot in line as our server was an absolute gem! It seems like they’re a little understaffed for the number of patrons they see and the wait for service can be a little long. All in all, we would go again. I’d recommend making a reservation

Waffles, waffles everywhere!!! Everything had waffles as part of the dish - salads with waffle croutons, sandwiches and benedicts with savory waffle buns, and of course sweet liege style waffles. When you plan to come on a weekend brunch, make sure to join the Yelp waitlist. My husband had the Farmyard Froghorn - sweet & spicy honey buffalo chicken, savory smoked bacon, salty blue cheese crumbles, peppery arugula, slightly sweet shaved onions, creamy basil aioli, and sandwiched by herbed waffles. Served with an upcharge side of pork belly hash - hearty cubed pork belly, seasoned potatoes, and sweet grilled peppers. I had The Plot Chickens (on their secret menu) - free range chicken breast, spring mix, fontina cheese, avocado, chipotle aioli, tomato, fried onion rings, smoked bacon, and jalapeno herbed waffle. Not-cho Potatoes - seasoned potatoes with gooey melted cheese, fresh pico de gallo, avocado, jalapenos, shredded bacon, cilantro, and sour cream. Most of their brunch cocktails come in large 15oz glasses and are fabulously garnished. The waiting area has a chalkboard wall for the kiddos to decorate.

My family and I were in the area and decided to check this place out. They offer a very unique menu, which we were all happy to explore. Everything was very fresh and delicious! We were extremely pleased with all of our dishes. I recommend trying if you haven’t already!

This place is was an experience for sure!! I have lived in this area for years and just discovered it! I had to share! 🤗 We ordered a creamy and delicious cappuccino and the kiddos that we had in our group ordered the strawberry banana juice and hot chocolate! YUM! We didn’t order one but saw the bar making the (extremely impressive Bloody Mary) topped with a mini waffle sandwich and a full size pork belly slice! We also saw flights of mimosas 👀 The kiddos got the Nutella waffle bites! HUGE hit! We got the banana waffles topped with a toasted marshmallow as well as the Greek scramble…. Whoa! Need I say more?! Go check it out!

We dined in on a Saturday morning & must have timed it just right. We didn't wait long, we sat inside & our waitress was Vanessa she very attentive & explained the type of dough the use to make there waffles & gave some great suggestions. I went w/the chicken & waffles it was like no other its a whole experience. The chicken was fried to a beautiful crisp & so moist, the waffle was savory w/herbs & had a smear of ricotta I believe a orange marmalade, bed of argula & when I say please take a bite w/all of it, I truly mean it my senses were in heaven. My bf had the original it was good also but mine was the best! This was our 1st time & won't be our last! Top service, amazing food, absolutely delicious.

The waffles had a different taste and consistency than I’ve ever had before very fun and delicious. Extremely sweet and juicy strawberries. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. I recommend you try it.

Yummy!! :) We got the fried chicken and waffles which was delicious and covered in apple slivers and a tangy marmalade. We also had the spicy carnitas waffle sandwich—delicious! The side of seasoned potatoes and pork belly hash was surprisingly perfection. The portions are huge, the coffee is free refills, the service is great (thank you, Vanessa!)…couldn’t ask for more and we’re lucky it’s local to Newbury Park now! Everything was served piping hot and it tasted freshly made. It’s a must try! We will be back.
