I feel so lucky to have found Nonna for my guy friend's birthday night. I knew Nonna was good (I had been here several years ago) but I wasn't sure how it had fared during the pandemic and if the service was still good. Our meal and evening couldn't have been better! I had the cacio i pepe and my guy had the chicken parmesan. I couldn't take a photo of the zucchini blossoms because we ate them waaaaay too fast ~ freaking AMAZING!!! And, by the way, the service was excellent 💖

First time here and the food was absolutely delicious. Authentic Italian restaurant. Can't get better than that. Everything tasted so fresh. We ordered their appetizer prosciutto and burrata salad which was very flavorful. I ordered one of their white pastas and added mushrooms and it was so good! I left nothing on my plate. My friend ordered the ravioli and she loved it as well. The dessert and service was excellent. I love the atmosphere. Dim lighting and very cozy feel. Reminded me of Italy. I'll definitely return to try other dishes.

Gracious staff. Beautiful setting. Delicious food. We will definitely be back. Special place. Generous portions. Had the chicken Parmesan. The sauce was so tasty. Everyone loved their meals.

DINNER ONLY RESTAURANT However, they do special events during the day. I attended a baby shower here and the food and the staff was wonderful! They didn’t really need to decorate at all because Nonna is already beautiful. I got to speak to some of the staff who told me they opened 5 years ago. They are reservations mostly and do live music at night. They have a great bar area as well and have a great variety of drinks. I had the spinach ravioli which was a 4/5 stars for me which in a delicious butter sauce. I also had the Chicken Picatta which was by far my favorite. For an appetizer I had the olive a’scalona. I had way to many because they tasted so good. The have good portion sizes here, a great kids menu, free parking, and good drinks!

I hesitated to give this place a review because I love it so much and I don’t want it to be overrun with people lol😍🎉. I didn’t take a lot of photos tonight and I have been here 1000 times and the food is great, the service is amazing, the crowd is amazing, the room is amazing, and this dessert alone is worth 5 stars. Omg mouthgasm 🎉🎉🎉👅🫦💋

She was welcomed with open arms and treated like a queen by the staff. Please make this restaurant a MUST on your list! It's our favorite!

We come to Nonna quite frequently for dinner as it is the best Italian food around. The food is always fantastic and the service is always quick and friendly. We loved it so much that my husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary there tonight. Tonight they went above and beyond making our anniversary even more memorable than it ever could have been. Thank you again for such an amazing experience.

The atmosphere is the reason you come here. There's beautiful live music which isn't too loud or overbearing. The ambience is perfect for a date, family, or friends to enjoy themselves, talk, and enjoy a meal and/or drinks. My biggest issue was the food. The menu sounds great. However, I did order the pizza, which every Italian restaurant should perfect. When I picked up the first slice, the whole thing flopped down and all the ingredients slipped off. I could see water puddling into the middle of the pan. I did try it regardless, and there was no flavor. Unacceptable for an Italian restaurant. This could have happened because of last call and they possibly rushed it out. I did enjoy the music and wine selection. And the service was exemplary. Our server did make a continued effort to offer me a new pizza or some other entree. I will probably stick with the drinks at this place, as paying $20+ for a small pizza or pasta is not worth it for me. I would definitely come again.

So, this is a pretty good place. Thought their cooking is really good, the portions are on a smaller side. The wait staff is well trained and friendly. As for the atmosphere, I'm sure it's great for socializing for the 20 and 30 somethings. But if you're younger than that, maybe there are better choices. For older folks, it's not your hearing aids. Nobody can hear anything anyone is saying anyhow, so just nod your head once in a while.

This is definitely a place where you should order what’s good. I got the tagliatelle bolognese and it was amazing! The portion looked small but it was very filling. The farm salad and tiramisu were also great. One of the members of my party did not like the margarita pizza and was rude to the waiter. He remained friendly and attentive as he had been during our visit. One other thing I would like to note is that these people kept grabbing dishes from the table while we were eating without warning. However I overall enjoyed my experience.

We visited on a Saturday night. Absolutely jam packed (good for Nonna's!!!). We couldn't get a table, so we sat at community table in bar area. Food was good, but too loud and crowded for a nice relaxing meal and conversation. Waitress was the real problem. She was NEVER available. And when she was, she gave us the wrong information. We wanted a beer on tap. . . she told us they had a Hazy IPA. We asked the name of the brewer (which we hadn't heard of but it was local). We asked for the name of the beer. She was very confused by the question. I think she made up something that we couldn't understand (even though the bar was literally 5 feet away!). We tried to look it up on our phones but couldn't find it. We decided to just give it a try. Well, it arrived, and it wasn't a Hazy IPA. We didn't like it and didn't finish our beers. Upon a little more research, it was a probably a Martzen. OK place, but we got a lousy waitress.

Bartenders are outstanding. The appetizers great....but I have been disappointed in the entrees. Second time I've been and dinner has been cold and less than expected.

Really horrible. Legitimately, this place is a disgrace to Italian food. I started to panic when they brought out their starter bread which was super bland generic white bread. From there it only got worse. Ordered an arugula salad with pears and artichoke. The pears and arugula had absolutely no flavor (pears tasted like they were preftozen, before being ripe, and arugula likely from a freezer bag) and the artichoke was also flavorless had the texture and flavor of being out of a can. The overwhelming flavor was the generic blue cheese they added. Note, pear and artichoke are in season in May when I visited, so they have no excuse for being this bad. Ordered the squash blossom pizza with buratta. One note to the Nonna chefs: if you are going to put a flavor as mild as squash blossoms on a pizza, maybe don't cover it in mountains of greasy mozzarella?.. totally bland crust too. Also, this is a pathetic ripoff of Nancy Silverton's classic pizza so if you actually want a good pizza I'd recommend going to Pizzeria Mozza! At the very least, go to stone fire grill over this dumpster fire.. not sure why this place has so many good reviews, but don't if you know anything about good food I guarantee you'll be disappointed.

Not bad. Maybe I choose the wrong item? Calamari was lovely. Risotto al mare, was okay but wouldn't get it again. A bit mushy. My friend had spaghetti vongle and she said it was good but needed a tad more sauce. Butter cake, nice. I'll try again and get the fesh pasta next time. Staff were pleasant.

Without hesitation, the best meal I've ever eaten, hands down, and every part of it. Best carpaccio in my life - the meat, the cut, the oil, the greens... Flawless calamari, as tender as light onion rings. The gnocchi put all others to shame - lighter than you can imagine, with delicate crust. Epic scallops, great deserts, even the Old Fashioned was tops. Service perfect - attentive and speedy without any sense of, well, presence. It just all *happened*, perfectly. NOT cheap, and worth every penny!!

I went here for my brother’s birthday. Amanda was our server and she was beyond excellent- perfect service. For appetizers we had the Caesar salad, calamari/misto fritto and the octopus. The apps were very average. The entrees - we had the white pizza and a pasta dish and both were superb. The dessert, Nonna’s cake and the pistachio were also amazing. Given service, entrees and dessert, would definitely go back. Pictured are the desserts.

There were 8 in our party. Eggplant and calamari appetizers. I'm not a fan of eggplant so I didn't taste it but others said it was very good. The calamari had a nice breading and flavor but was tough and chewy. Not the worst I've had but not that good. Me and one other person had the filet and both were overcooked! Fortunately the meat itself was very good or it would have been pretty disappointing. I realize it's Italian, but if you can't cook a steak take it off the menu. Everyone liked their drinks but I had iced tea that I couldn't seem to get refilled so I had a lot of water the servers kept full. Not bad, but not really up to par for the cost.

We went for my dad birthday. We got seated by the door and the service was below average. They forgot about us and we had to request service three times just to even get water. The food was average but there were no dishes we can say were great or worth reordering. The best part was the dessert we got a tiramasu. Don't think we would go back for a special event again

Great food and environment! We had the carpaccio, Cioppino and Risotto de mare but with linguini instead and everything was amazing. Very tasty and super fresh seafood. We had a bottle of white wine and overall wasn't crazy expensive for the great quality. We were celebrating a birthday and they were so kind to bring a complementary dessert! Thanks! Definitely recommended

Our server was Francesco and he was amazing. Fantastic food, prompt service, swift delivery of dishes. We were in and out in an hour all while having an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Highly recommend this place and Francesco if you can get seated in his section.

We were dressed like bums seeing what our overall experience would be and how we’d be treated. We were not treated well at all. Restaurant and food was amazing but service was could have been better. People who were dressed up were treated and attended to quite well. We still wait to tip our $1000 to someone who gives us good service while we are dressed as such. The guy refilling our drinks was very impressive though. Did his job very well and deserves a raise, I don’t think he spoke much English, but he was by far the best there.

Wonderful dinner with friends yesterday at this wonderful restaurant. Nice ambience, delicious food and excellent service!! Pizza and Pasta were simply amazing. Ladies at reception were very courteous and helpful to get us a nice table. Angelita who attended our table was very attentive, friendly and very efficient. She ensured we had a great dining experience. Compliments to Angelita, chefs, management and all the staff at this great restaurant for the great work that they do!

This was such a nice evening. My husband and I were coming back from Sam's club in Oxnard and wanted to go out for dinner. We had never been to Nonna's before and we like Italian food. We enjoyed pizza, house salad and we tried lamb shank over mashed potatoes with demi glace. It was All very good. The food we delicious and the prices were good too. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. I know we'll be going back again soon!

I have been to Nonna’s a couple times and both times have been outstanding. The food is incredible, the restaurant is really nice, and the service is impeccable. I play minor league baseball and therefore travel (and eat out) at many restaurants. This is tied for the greatest Italian restaurant I have eaten at in my career. The house made pasta is perfect and the chocolate torte for dessert is one of the best desserts for chocolate lovers. Kelly, our waitress, is SO friendly and down to earth. She is knowledgeable and delightful. You will be so happy you ate here.
