Really nicely done pub with good variety of tables outside, friendly staff and good cocktails. The burgers were ok and the loaded fries were yummy. Don't miss out on happy hour (5-7) two cocktails for £12

Warm atmosphere, good for families. Outdoor tables. Clean, friendly staff, quick service. My katsu curry chicken burger was a new discovery, unfortunately the amount of spicy mayo overpowered all the other flavours and ingredients. However, it was good.

Absolutely fantastic garden at the back with a nice view of the church, secluded and lots of space. Staff very attentive and super kind. Made sure our dog got a bowl with fresh water ❤️ Service fast. The food ok, very nicely presented but not really well seasoned. Fish and chips very oily and beer battered fish had definitely too much of flour and was felt dense. And probably my fault as I didn’t read menu properly, but I was surprised not to have mashy peas and tartare sauce with the fish. Though coleslow was tasty. Overall good experience, good portions. Toilets small but clean.

Feathers is honestly one of the best pubs I have ever been to. The food is 10/10 and the vibes are also great. The outdoor seating area is done so nicely and the staff are really friendly too. They go above and beyond - for mothers day they gave a card and flower to any mums in the group which was such a nice touch!

Lovely place to go to. Good service with nice, reasonable priced food. A place with good vibes and quite a young crowd.

The Feathers, Rickmansworth Just literally got back from a works Xmas lunch at this fabulous pub. 3 car parks all within walking distance. After paying the charge & walking to the pub, on a freezing cold day, we entered the pub. As soon as we walked in, you feel the warmth from the fire, the smell of the food & was greeted by a friendly staff member who immediately booked all 13 of us in. (We had previously booked & preordered) Our drinks were all delivered to our table & our food was served in no time (Some of us had to shoot off). I had the salmon, potatoes & puréed leeks, it was cooked to perfection. They guys all had festive burgers & a couple of vegetarian options. Extremely friendly & knowledgeable staff, excellent facilities & the garden looked amazing. Plenty of benches & 2 enclosed areas with fluffy seats & heating. I even saw some doggy bowels, so I’m assuming dogs are welcome too. Just wish I lived closer! Thank you so much for looking after us all. From The Martin-Baker boys & girl!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, Bella particularly so. We enjoyed the food although my husband said he would have liked a bit more gravy on the bangers and mash. The atmosphere was brilliant.

Staff were accommodating and friendly with changing our table on short notice. The atmosphere was better outside but we requested to be in away from the very hot sun. Vegan food here is decent for sure and the Yorkshire pudding was a really tasty one! Hard to tell it was plant based. I’d come back to this place if I was in the area.

Being from New York, my friends and I wanted to experience a great pub in a local town. The Feathers really delivered. Located walking distance from train station Rickmansworth, this pub with low ceilings had incredible charm inside and out. Service was excellent and the food amazing.

Amazing pub! The staff are absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. The food and portions are also great and the pub is really nice, the outside seating area is really cute and nicely decorated. The desserts are really nice and the presentation of everything is lovely. I'm not usually a fan of brownies, but I thought I'd give the sundae brownie a try, and it was possibly the best brownie I've ever had! The cauliflower bites are really tasty, too, and I'd recommend getting them as a starter. We didn't get a chance to try the roast but would definitely return again as it sounded lovely!

We were there for lunch yesterday with friends after saying we wouldn't go to pubs anymore as the food and service is never great. We will definitely be coming back to The Feathers. The service was lovely, friendly and everyone was happy and smiley. The food was very good as well. My duck salad was excellent as were the cod and chips. I also like the way the soup was served in mugs. Thank you for a lovely lunchtime.

Friendly staff, they had a cancellation and the kind waitress asked if we wanted the table indoors as it was cold outside. Food was also really tasty, especially the lovely dessert.

The place is very cozy and as I can observed the place is very historical. I been greeted by as I enter. I asked if I can sit anywhere. The man behind the bar politely replied if I have a booking, I said no and he told me to find anywhere I can sit, he also mentioned that there's a garden table outside. I asked if I can take a menu with me then I choose to sit on a corner at the restaurant side where a long table was set up but I only needed for one in the corner by the window table, as I look back a waiter was already behind me and offered to moved the long table and split it. I sat and started to choose from the menu. Then a waiter approached to asked my drink order. I didn't have the drink menu with me when I sat down, the waiter started to walk to the bar and tried to get it for me but I already know what I'd like to order. Gin and Tonic served on a proper balloon glass complete with a garnish of dried berries. As I look at their menu, I could say that it's been created carefully and really have a good selections, it is unique dishes specially the mac and cheese and the salad section. I choose the superflat bread salad that made of humus, rocket salad, roasted pepper, courgette, confit tomato, leeks, kale, brown rice, quinoa, broad beans, red onion, balsamic glaze and feta cheese.Sound deliciously healthy right? I added up the smoked salmon and crushed avocado to make it even more healthier. I requested to put the flat bread on the side. This salad is out of this world; all the texture and taste of each ingredients is playing inside my mouth. I truelly enjoyed it. I never had anything closer to the goodness of this kind of salad. I was really full but then I saw a creme brulle cheese cake so I got curious and asked the young waitress about the texture of it because it sound like infused but I was wondering if it's too soft texture of creme brulle or the texture of cheese cake. She then went and asked the kitchen and went back with an answer and said its more of a cheese cake soft texture rather than the brulle but because I love cheesecake I ordered it anyway eventhough I am too full. When it arrived the size is perfect and my palate has been fooled because I can taste it like a creme brulle but then I could taste the texture of a cheesecake. Now I get it; It's a cheese cake that has a taste of creme brulle. Amazing I had the taste of two in one. I would recommend the place, the food and the ambience. The restaurant got slowly busy and there's a large group as well that dine in. Shame that I did not have the chance to try and relax outside their garden table. It would be good but I ran out of time. I went there for an early dinner and to meet somebody who owns a dog but couldn't make it. Yes! the place is pet friendly perhaps by the beer garden, well maybe next time. The service is excellent. Tried to asked if they could charged my phone before I eat my dinner ( worried that it might go flat and I won't be able to call an uber) and got it back when I finished my dinner. Well I could not even mentioned the name of the young lady who served me, she have an excellent customer skills and great hospitality. They truly do what they said... "They will look after you."

Lovely pub in gorgeous historic area and very quaint and quiet. The garden is medium sized and enclosed. The menu offered a lovely selection of foods with sizeable portions and seemed to appeal to a variety of tastes. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only down side was that the burgers were cold. I recommend.
