Thrissur corporation Nehru Park in Swaraj Round is a blessing for people of Thrissur and those who visit the town, It is really a thoughtfull idea by maintaining such a park in the heart of the city, there was a delightful atmosphere with families, groups and couples strolling through the pretty gardens during evenings. There are many playing rides are placed to children.A beautiful garden with all its beauti maintained there.Very nice place to walk and talk with friends, couples, parents spend our evenings and holidays sitting in the shadow of the trees on the green carpet grass.this park is owned by the municipal corporation of thrissur, and at present is in a dilapidated condition, due to lack of maintenance and total neglect from the authorities, there is a children's section having rides like see saw, swings and slides. it is better to keep the children away from these rides, because all of these needs urgent repairs. The recent modification and installations of some new playground materials for the kids are a relief. But considering the crowds that are attracted here in the weekends, it is insufficient.

One of the best park in Kerala. There are so many activities for children below 10 years. Good place to visit at evenings. There is also walking track available for joggers. The park is spread across a ground with 1km periphery. Good shades available for sitting. Located near to theakkinkad maidanam.

New Infrastructure, Good Amenities, well maintained till 14th of December 2021😂😂.. I wish it could be maintained in the same way or more attractively to provide our Thrissur peoples could Enjoy their Evenings with Family. Opening from 1pm-8pm. No Tickets are Needed. LED & Water Musical Fountain show timings around 6.15pm & 7.15pm. Don't expect the Fountain will Dance exact accurate with sound and Light, it's just a mix of Music with Water Fountain & Led lights, that's all. It's good to watch for one time as an attraction in heart of Thrissur Town.

Nehru Park is one of the most beautiful and attractive place in Thrissur. Especially kids can enjoy by playing in rides. There is a wonderful children's library where you can read, rent and buy books. There are lot of benches where you can relax. You may never feel that you are in the middle of a busy town running around you. It is an eco friendly place.

Well-maintained play equipment. Even though the park is for children parents can also enjoy this place... Constant monitoring of officers is there, which is a good thing. Another interesting thing is the overall neatness... As compared to other parks the amount of waste inside the park is very less. Benches are constructed in several parts of the park which can be used for relaxing... In my opinion, this park is not only for children but also for people of all ages. No entry fee is required, the park opens at 1 pm.

Nehru Park Thrissur is located in Thekkinkadu maithanam North East side of Swaraj Round. The 60 years old famous children's park was inaugurated by Dr.S.Radhakrishnan, the vice president of India in 1959. The park was renovated and modified by constructing new designed compound wall with entrance gate in 2009 and also in 2015 new modern types of play equipments for children's were fixed. The park is well maintained by Thrissur corporation with a beautiful garden. Facilities like children's library ,Toilet, playground etc are there. Big trees in the park makes the place very cool and comfort. So many seating arrangements we can sit ,enjoy and relax till 8 PM. A very beautiful park and everybody likes.

Wow! What a fantastic children's park run by the Corporation of Thrissur. The highlight is that they are not even charging a single penny as an entry fee. Playing equipment is of good quality and is a lot in number that can accommodate many. Washrooms are clean, walkways, and lawns are kept neat. There are the park officials who constantly monitor the seamless operation of the park.

Best hangout place at the heart of Thrissur, very near to vadakkumnadan temple. I prefer evening times to go there. Even the play park for kids is with lots of safe rides which children can enjoy their maximum, over that the garden in the property is also well maintained properly.

Nehru park has quite a good number of slides, swings, seesaws etc.. But some slides and seesaws are having damages, rust, parts missing etc.. Beware of a big concrete and marble slide, which is not kid-friendly actually. Though, there's a neat lawn area also with a good tree, onto which even children can climb (with elders' supervision) and take photos. We can take good photos in the park. It's rush during weekends especially after 5.30pm. Try to go on weekdays to avoid rush.

Very few people in Thrissur Corporation now know that "Nehru Park" was inaugurated by then Vice President of India Dr S Radhakrishnan in 1959. The campus is laid out on 8.5 Acres of Land, it is reasonably well maintained with the variety of Flora and Fauna. The earlier park used to house an aquarium and a children's library. Which has given way for a synchronised fountain and many modern play equipments. The park also houses many sculptures, simple gymn equipments for health consciousThrissurites. There are two grand entrances to the park, but parking inside the swaraj round is slightly tricky and you better use the entrance at the shornour road junction. There are also clean toilet fascilitates for Children and benches for parents to watch. At any given time the play areas can accommodate 500 - 1000 children in the premises and since all this comes free, if you are traveling to or if your kids are hooked on to the mobile and television, this would be a healthy and pleasant alternative. Strongly recommend the space. The lone missing star is possibilities for improvement in landscaping.

After renovation the park is very beautiful and enjoyable. They introduced a lot new rides and things. A good place to hangout with family and kids. Well connected to the all part of the Thrissur district. Clean and well maintained. There are library and many sculptures garden and fountains inside the park. The postulates I see there is the excessive honking of the vehicles going through the road near to the park.

Good children's park at the centre of the city. Children and parents can playfully spend quality time in the park right in the evening. There are a lot of game equipments, slides and a lot of open space for sitting and watching children play. Also, a large area is left as garden which is picturesque. Easily accessible since there are busstop, autorickshaw stand near the entry. There are small eateries also near the entry. Recommended

A hill with a great view over an interesting landscape. Admission rates are decent. There is adequate parking though at times it can get congested. Advise the utmost care if driving up the hill - there can be some fast moving vehicles coming up from the opposite side. While the view is good there are no indicators as to where and what to see. Therefore its best to walk around and explore. Do be careful with some of the swings and slides if with kids. They are not in the best condition. Also advise caps, gloves and sunscreen if the visit is in the morning. Recommend this attraction for its great views.

A very good place for kids in the center of Thrissur city, new infrastructure introduced in park made it more useful for kids and adults. Having a good walking or jogging track inside the park, dedicated play zone for kids and a musical water fountain show in the evening (18:20 and 19:20 IST) with color LED lights with movie songs. Out side park people can get some snacks, cool drinks, juice and icecream.

Good park for children. There are slides of different sizes, swings, seesaws and many more. Old age people can also have good time by going for a walk or by sitting there in the breeze. Small children can play in all the play items. Some people sell things just outside the park like toys, coconut water, ice creams, cold drink etc. It is a good place for people to spend their time and enjoy.

Things to play with that are kept up. Parents can still have fun here even if the park is for kids... It's a good thing that officers are constantly under observation. The general neatness is something else that's interesting. The park has a very low amount of rubbish when compared to other parks. Several areas of the park have benches that can be used for relaxing. This park, in my opinion, is appropriate for visitors of all ages. The park is free to enter and opens at 1 pm. The hub of the city, Tt, gets extremely busy during the weekends. It has both open gym equipment for adults and children that is well-maintained.

Nehru Park Thrissur fantastic place for kids to have a great time outdoors. The park offers a wide range of playing equipment that can keep children entertained for hours. However, it's essential to note that some of the play items are in dangerous condition, which can be a cause for concern. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, it is crucial for the park authorities to prioritize maintenance and repairs. With proper upkeep, Nehru Park has the potential to be an even more delightful destination for families and children in Thrissur.

Nehru park is an awesome hangout place for kids. There is plenty of playing equipment for children. But some of them are to be repaired. Proper maintenance is needed. There is also a garden in a wide area. The main thing is there is no entry fee. We can park our vehicle in thekkinkadu maidan with a fee of 50 rs.
