This place has seen a lot of Sukumar Azheekode in his glory. Is usual place for talks , seminars and book releases. This is one of the reason Thrissur is called cultural capital of Kerala ( may be nobody remember that now). Situated in heart of town near public library,zoo ,Lalitha Kala academy it remained centre spot in cultural heritage of Kerala. It also has great collection of reference books.An important place.

The Kerala Sahitya Akademi or Academy for Malayalam literature is an autonomous body established to promote the Malayalam language and literature. It is situated in City of Thrissur, Kerala in India

Famed name and a good university. Pride of Kerala, situated in the heart of the city. But most of the staff in the University has no work knowledge and so they will make you run a minimum of 5 times for a document submission or to receive it. The university campus is very good, greenery all around with the flowers and plants maintained well. The lawn grass is cut maintaining an uniformity. Overall everything is good. But what to say the staff does not have work knowledge, got very bad attitude, never in their desks, arrogant to the visitors and have no mercy to the visitors who visit the University for paper work or request for certificates, transcript, exam related information, documentation etc etc, name it and you are entering hell

It hosts most of the cultural fests and program and Thrissur being known as cultural capital of Kerala you can imagine importance of this place.

It is a very nice library, having great collection of books, and available lot of journals and thesis's.

A secluded building facing the main road has some goods of great value. However, it would be in better condition if it's not Govt owned.
