The wow factor of this restaurant is its location if you're seated outside! A view of Interlaken and a clear picture of the two lakes is incredibly beautiful! The restaurant itself is average! We had to wait 15mins to be seated although there was sufficient seats available. The staff was too occupied and there wasn't a dedicated person allotting people to seats. Being a vegetarian, there was just one option in the pizza but it was quite good and tasty! Drinks were good ! The staff serving us was friendly and nice so it was well by the end! If you enjoy meals with a view, this one is worth a shot :) Also, there's a hike possible to and from this point if you'd like to...We took the cable car from the city which was quite convenient and a good ride!

Amazing panoramic view of the Interlaken City and both lakes with the alps in the background. One adult pay 40 CFH for the round trip of the funicular, cars not allowed. It’s totally worthy!!

Absolutely stunning views of Interlaken and the surrounding mountains and lakes! We were able to easily grab a table with the best view to enjoy dinner. We got cheese fondue and it was delicious! The funicular ride up was great as well, very scenic and well worth the cost.

The view is spectacular but expect to wait for a while. The crowd to take a picture is long especially in good weather. I do not recommend waiting until sunset unless you’re ok with waiting 1-2 hours to go back down after sunset. (This is purely when weather is perfect and in tourist season)

Simply amazing. We came for the second time within a year, took the funicular up, hiked till the very top of the mountain and descended on foot. Views are outstanding, the restaurant has fair prices, there's a free toilet and a lovely platform which offers a 360 view on the region. Thanks to the visitor's card we got 5 chf off. Definitely a must visit in Interlaken

There is no someone who guides you, so you just need to get a seat when it's open. Or you just need to wait for the seat that will be available soon like asking them "are you leaving?" and you get it. The view is splendid of course, but it's pricy. The schnitzel costs about 30 CHF and it tastes just okay. Also, it's not like a huge schnitzel that you expect. They are pretty small 2 pieces of schnitzel. I like the fresh fruit juice though! it costs 8.50 CHF for 500 ml.

Amazing view of Interlaken, it's lakes and the mountains of the Jungfrau Region!! It's just too crowded... We had to wait a bit in line, to go up by funicular... But it's worth the wait!!

Very beautiful, and the views are amazing. Also the prices of the restaurant are ok. BEWARE, the circular path is far longer than 50 minutes and if it has been raining it gets really hard and without boots it's a bad idea.

I have to admit, I got a little dizzy looking down. The view of the Bernese Alps is one no one should miss. There is a nice restaurant however, we went for the view. It was worth the cost, we showed our eurail pass and received a discount

Beyond my expectations. Very beautiful funicular ride, the view from above was majestic. Highly recommended. Visited on June 8th 2023, 7.30pm Temperature: 11 deg celcius. Half price with Swiss travel pass.

A wonderful view of Interlaken and the Lauterbrunnen valley gateway. Truly impressive in good weather. Up top, there's a restaurant, a viewpoint on a platform, and one more floor above the restaurant.

The view of Interlaken, lakes and surrounding mountains is breathtaking, probably even more so on a clear day. There was a thick cloud cover at the end of September when I visited but with patience, it clears out for periods and the views are amazing. The restaurant is quite good. Although busy, the service is quite good and so is the menu. The train ride to the top is also quite fun.

One of the best and most beautiful views in Interlaken, you can get here by taking the cable car, where there is a restaurant and bar here at the top, the view in all directions is wonderful and you can take the most beautiful pictures with your loved one! My only criticism is that the restaurant did not accept food or even drinks for us outside, because it was cold, they said! But in such a place, I think most days of the year will be cold! The restaurant inside is nice but relatively small to accommodate all the people inside

Such a cool spot! Definitely a must-see in Interlaken. Was a bit crowded but definitely not too crazy for a weekend in the early fall. The view from the top was amazing. I would recommend doing at least a bit of hiking. Maybe even hike down once you get up there!

  • 5/5 Dave D. 9 months ago on Google
60 steep % funicular up to some great views of the lanes and Interlaken. Not much else to do at the top, just a restaurant and a shop. They is a circular walk that takes about an hour or you can even walk down if you are brave!

Beautiful spot to observe scenic beauty of Interlaken 10 minute train ride costs 40 franks and is totally worth it a lovely restaurant on the top with lots of options. Would highly recommend to get tickets online and get there 15 minutes before your departure time.

Lovely experience. Great views and the feel of being on top of the mountain is great. But too crowded for a small place. Have to wait long to get the funicular to and fro. It was drizzling the day we went so couldn't do the hike.

It was a great experience. The scenery was amazing, the food was delicious, and I was really impressed! I was really impressed by the wonderful scenery and delicious food! I would definitely come back again. It is better to go in the morning because it gets crowded.

Great panoramic view of Interlaken, lakes, mountains. Book tickets in advance to avoid long queues. Even with online booking there was waiting time of 20 min while going up.

Enjoyed the train journey to Harder kulm. The view from Harder kulm is great. You can enjoy the view of both the lake from the top as well as view of the city. The cafe was also good. The price is little higher but the view is totally worth it. Also the train frequency( every 30 mins) is good as well.

A stunning scenic spot to view the whole town of Interlaken. We purchased tickets in advance and went in the morning. There was about a 15-20 minute wait when we were there. On a more clearer day, the lines and wait time will be a lot longer, but the day we went it was kind of cloudy out. We still were able to enjoy breathtaking views from the top. There's a stand for snacks, coffee and beverages at the top and plenty of seating. There's also a restaurant, but it was closed the morning we were there. Overall, a good family activity to do while in Interlaken

It's an excellent view-point, from where,we can view the beautiful nature filled with snow capped Alps Mountains range, the lakes, the top view of Interlaken City, the green forests, infact, the autumn colours, the Sunshine and every bit of it !! People queup to reach the hilltop by the tram. A long lasting memory to cherish.

This is a great way to capture Switerland's πŸ‡¨πŸ‡ landscapes and breath taking views of Interlaken. With the Swiss travel pass, tickets for the incline cable car are half priced. If not up for the cable car, there's always the Harder Kulm hike to the top. Either or, it's worth the trip to the top, enjoy!

Awesome view at the top. However you have to plan your visit time properly so as to not have to wait in the queue for too long. The queue to enter was Atleast 30 min but the queue to exit was around an hour. The funicular can hold only a limited number of people, so it is understandable but the queue was way too long

Easiest way to get insanely beautiful views during sunset. The way the sunset changes the colours of the sky and the landscape is amazing. Only down side is that it gets abit crowded. Had a queue for the funicular when I got there. Have to buffer some time before if you're trying to catch the sunset.

Majestic views of Interlaken and not as busy as the other famous mountains in the region. Lovely restaurant on top but the staff are pushy and insist on a certain number of items to be ordered. If you have bought tickets from SwissTours or any other online vendor you have to exchange them at the ticket window for the attraction ticket, first which there is a separate queue.

View, Bier, Food , ambience and the service, everything was awesome. One of the experiences you must have when you are in Interlaken. Located at the top of Interlaken between the two beautiful crystal blue water lakes - Brienzersee and Thunnersee, this restaurant provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Interlaken and Jungfrau. You will see numerous paragliders having fun out in the sky. Try the local bier from fass with Swiss Fondue along with the view. If you sit outside you can get to see the entire range of Bernese Apps all around you. Very friendly and attentive people at service. Would love to visit again. Overall experience was absolutely incredible.

Had their hot chocolate with whipped cream. It was beyond delicious and felt really good drinking it because it got a bit chilly in the evening. A must have at the restaurant.

Just being in this country is exciting, but eating at this restaurant is spectacular. The view from the mountain is like a dream. I ordered a cheese fondue with potatoes. The food was very good. The waiter who served us was from the Dominican Republic and he was great. A waiter who speaks our language (Spanish) that was amazing. It was quite a nice experience. If you come to Interlaken you cannot leave without coming to this restaurant. highly recommended

Nothing can beat the view from this restaurant. Its worth to wait for the edge tables from where you can have a clear view of Jungfrau area. Hummus was great. Fondue had a very strong cheese smell(so choose wisely). View will compensate for the average food.

Good service, view is the best. Chicken schnitzel is good. Cheese fondue.... probably ask for non-alcohol option its too strong for non drinker.

As you would expect, the view is spectacular in this restaurant! I tried the raclette and my friend had the burger and fries, the raclette was with truffle flavoring which was a really nice mixture of flavors, my friends burger was okay but the fries were so good that I order a plate myself as well! This dessert is unfortunately the only warm dessert on the menu for a restaurant in such a cold climate. However it was amazing and the melted chocolate sauce inside the cake was perfect for warmth and tasted nice. Pricing here was only a little high, but that is expected given the panoramic view of the alps.

Great place to chill when up at harder klum. We had drinks and hot chocolate is nice. Hot red wine was with too strong cinnamon taste. Service is good.

The funicular was worth it. Then, go to the first view point. We did not do the hike, as there was not enough time. Grab a drink at the restaurant and then you can use the bathroom. Also, the folklore music was amazing!!! I also ordered the ceasar salad and the vegetable soup--very delicious. Supposedly, the folklore music happens every night, but varies by performers. Highly recommend at the end of the day.

Beautiful viewpoint ! We can see Interlaken and the two lakes (Lake Thun and Lake Brienz) from above. Great place to have cheese fondue & a glass of wine with an amazing Interlaken view . Dont miss it ! πŸ’―

Wonderful view from top of the mountain. Both the lakes looks stunning from the view point. It was windy and very cold during November. Best to visit in summer I guess but overall very good experience. Do not miss this place if you visit Interlaken in Swiss…

  • 5/5 Michelle S. 1 year ago on Google
The view was outstanding!! We chose the tram up instead of the hike. The view going up was amazing and the view once we had arrived was nothing short of a story book image We had eaten at the restaurant but found it as average and not as great as some comments have made it to seem. But the food was good

Amazing experience of being above the clouds! When down is gloomy and rainy, you go through thick clouds in the forest and end up in clear sky, sunny summit. Journey on old train is a life experience. This ride is included in Swiss Pass for free, so 100% worth visiting!

Nice spot , it is top of Zurich . A good Restaurant over there to spent some time and a wire rope train with 30 peoples will take time to reach 15 min. Nice view from top

A beautiful view point at Interlaken. The place is accessible via a funicular train which costs CHF 40 per head for the to & fro journey. One can also hike up which would take around 3 to 4 hours one direction. A must visit point at Interlaken.

Great view above Interlaken. But the meal wasn't worth it , hoping for a nice meal that I would have paid for. But the food came out in 5 min and under expectation. But great pictures

The view was amazing though we just got a glimpse of Interlaken as the weather changed very fast. It started snowing. It was fabulous as it was not crowded at all. We had to take a funicular up there - that, in itself, was fun. The Panorama restaurant up there has a good variety - the brownie was fantastic & the chocolate drink was very yummy.
