This is a great family camping area. We enjoy riding bicycles and our quad. Actually very quiet and secluded.

This campground is in the Olympic National Forest and managed by the WA State Department of National Forest. You can stay free for 7 days in a 365 day period. Pit toilet only, no trash recepticals ( pack out what you bring in). The hiking trail is shared with atv's, quads, and dirt bikes. There is constant gun fire from wherever the front folks go to target practice.. generally, 10am till dusk

Great campground for riding the trails in Capitol Forest. Some campsites are huge, others are small. Need to get there early. I didn't care much for the people that set up a small tent on some of the bigger site early in the week as a way to reserve it for the weekend. I wish there was a way around that, but overall, we enjoyed it.

Very fun place to camp, especially if you have atv's. Great creek and hiking. Great fun for the kids.

Excellent place to camp and ride atvs, or go hiking. Campground is kept clean and quick access to trails. Camp hosts are so very helpful and have a wealth of knowledge of the surroundings. A+

Being just on the outskirts of town. Yet feels like your a million miles away deep in the forest. With wildlife to boot. A very pleasant camp host as well. We will be back next season!
