I travel full time across the country with my young child. It’s EXTREMELY rare that I pay to stay anywhere (I have abundant solar power and can last 1-2 months on my water supply). I originally came here for propane, but the sign I attached a photo of made me feel extremely welcome right away. The color of my skin isn’t always welcome or appreciated. Another thing that sold me to this place was how the owner defends the people who stay at her campground. I’ve been wrongfully judged many times, so it touched me to see her be rightfully defensive of good people who are wrongfully judged in the ratings. After meeting the owner, we immediately clicked and I asked how much it was to stay the night. I hadn’t paid to stay somewhere in over 10 months, but something was telling me this would be a perfect place for us to treat ourselves. The rate was very reasonable, as was the price on propane. The customer service was outstanding. It’s family run and you feel like family immediately. Most people camped there seemed very friendly and many had children. Yes, there are some older rigs, but we need a place to stay too. I have an older rig and it runs a lot better than most newer ones. The pool was wonderful and clean. The showers were clean and hot - very refreshing after a long soak in the pool. Their little store is cute and convenient. My kid fell in love with the swings and watching the older kids run around playing together. It’s like a little neighborhood and you forget where you are. It was very quiet at night and we slept soundly. The following day, I got all ready to check out and I realized they had laundry facilities. I was going to go to a laundromat, but I wanted to give my money to them instead. They let me park in front and stay a couple extra hours to finish my laundry. Seriously, they are so kind. I HIGHLY recommend this place to kind people. If you’re the type of person who goes around looking to be upset or disappointed, this place doesn’t deserve you. This is the first place in 3 years of traveling that I already want to go back and visit.

Stayed at park for about a year. Overall park is cool except that most of park filled with permanent residents the place full of drama if you get in with the in crowd all good. Park has CPS constantly their or residents threading to call CPS. Most people their drunk or high kids run around with no supervision. Place full of free loaders off the system kids can pay with their EBT card and you can get a tab going for beer and smokes. People all up in ur business The owners and staff are great But the people bunch of freeloaders with no ambition

Wife and I stayed a few nights in our brand new RV here. The staff was helpful but on the last day noticed our locking gas door pryed open, gas cap missing, and our full 100 gallons stolen. The staff said they have security at night but the thief or thieves still stole nearly $400 in gas!!! I am now designing device that will flat out knock whomever messes with my gas lid on their butt with a few lithium batteries and a high output transformer...

Came here in March of 2021 when I was gravely ill with Long Covid. Figured if I am going to die I am going to do it doing what I love camping. The love and support of the owners, staff, community and the magical nature that exists on the grounds brought me back to life. This time last year I was walking with a cane and never thought that I would be able to work again. Today I am back to work at a job that I love and have made life long friends. The only negative energy that exists here is what one might create for themselves. Otherwise, the staff and owners of the campground let you live your life and either stop by to say hello or invite you to a BBQ! I have never been happier since the day that I arrived at Olympia Campground.

Stopped here for 1 night. Clean facilities. Friendly owners. Good value. They charge per guest in case you have kids with you it’s a bit more than basic rate. Really convenient to have fuel right on site. Basic convenience store too.

Just moved to Olympia from Indiana for my job, however been waiting to hear about housing. So in the meantime I’ve been camped here in the tent section for a few days & still have a few days left (maybe more) Moving to a new place by yourself can get pretty lonely, all my friends live over 2,000 miles away. However the staff here have been very social, nice, & extremely helpful. Everyone I’ve meet, passed by or talked to have all been respectful. I Like to read reviews before I go somewhere. And in all honesty in my time here I haven’t seen any of the negative things that a few people claimed. The little store is convenient, bathrooms/showers are clean, waters hot & the people are welcoming.

Stayed here for a few months while my husband was in the area for work. We showed up as strangers…totally lost with no idea where to go. When we left we left with a new family. Everyone was so helpful. They have AWESOME ladies working the store. Campground security is FANTASTIC. Never once did I worry about anything. Loved our full hookup spot and there’s also partial hookups. A tent section for summer camping. And the pool when weather allowed! The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily and the hot water was to die for. Our daughter made so many friends, with the kids and the adults. Laundry room was open during the day and great prices. I could go on for days about everything I loved here. Gas up front. Propane service. Game room. They even included us in their barbecues. Hands down the BEST location we’ve ever stayed at. We will definitely be back. I can’t say enough good things about everyone there. We have been gone almost two months now and I am homesick to go back and visit. Definitely stop in and stay here if you’re in the area!

We ended up staying here for a week in September 2022 as a last-minute place to stay. It ended up being great! It is a great location- easy to explore all around Olympia and Millersylvania State Park. Plenty to keep you busy. We didn't swim, but the pool looked very clean and we saw staff check the pool daily before opening it. There are full time residents, but they are all friendly and didn't give us any trouble. If you walk towards the back, there are some residents with "unsightly" plots, but again, they didn't disturb us in anyway. This campground is very welcoming of all people. We walked our dog regularly and always felt safe. We also work remote and require strong cell service/internet. We had exceptional Tmobile and Verizon coverage in site 15. like download speeds were in the 100s mbps and upload was around 50 mbps. Plus they have laundry available. Overall, it was just very convenient for all of our needs and we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 1 week back in the water, power only area, that was all we could handle after that we left and found a nicer cheaper place. This is not as nice as the pictures portray, there are many tarps up all over, there is no up keep on the back lots. When we tried to upgrade to a spot with a sewer we where told we couldn't as there wasn't any available which we had seen several, multiple times.. The bathrooms are gross and there is a gate they close at night supposedly at 10 pm, but after visiting my family I returned at 9:50 pm and found the gate already closed and looked locked. I ended up walking in the dark back to my RV. They have a charge of 5$ per person on your guest, it would have cost me to have my family come visit when there is 7 of them in the family.. I would rate this place no stars and would never ever rent from them again even if they are conveniently located near my family !!

Great location. Very family friendly. Had guests come visit with no fees. Speed limit of 5 mph that they politely enforce as our little ones run around. Gate upfront gets closed at night, they don’t lock it. Staff is always friendly. 2 sets of restrooms located in different areas of the park. Always clean. Bathrooms located at the front have a code lock. Staff always make sure guests are given the new code promptly. Staff goes above and beyond to insure safety and security. New to owning a trailer some of the staff helped me with questions I had. Bummed no pool this summer, because of state mandate. There is always next summer!

Amazing spot. Had a festival to attend and this was a nice, affordable option. They have people doing security often and there was a super cute cat. I suspect the cat was also performing security checks, please answer his questions if he asks.

We stayed at this park for a week. Facility was clean, employees were very friendly. Seemed to be an older RV site but the amenities were there. We were there during the fall so it rained the entire time so it was a bit muddy. Price was good.

I was harassed by this odd man who emerged from the woods behind the gas station. I have not heard back from the owners of the gas station regarding this terrifying encounter. I don’t know who in their right mind would want to stay here or do business again when you have an odd man, creeping around at night harassing women who are trying to fill up. Update: So I hear back from the owner who conveniently does not have the surveillance videos regarding this interaction because they ‘reset’ by the first of the month. I was informed by the owner that I was supposedly driving the streets recklessly, which caused the patrons in that KIA to then follow me (as if they’re law enforcement) — to their delight, I ended up at the gas station where they live (RV Park), to which they jumped out and then got this odd man to harass me. I was told by the owner that supposedly the Thurston county PD was called and notified and that TWO reports were made of reckless driving; after calling Thurston PD and local police, I was informed NO reports were made from my date of travel until I called (8/27 - 9/7). When I initially called the store the next morning on 8/28, I was told by a store employee, that the odd man in the picture informed them that he was dealing with a “tweaker” at the gas station, this story is unbelievable. I would advise all black and minority patrons to used extreme caution when patronizing this business especially at night; you’re probably better off staying near I-5 and patronizing the larger chains like Texaco, Shell, AM/PM, etc.

I can’t not even begin to say how wonderful this place is. Kind people, lots of shade… a pool. I thought I was getting a campsite to get some rest before the next job, instead I got a luxury spa and a great group of friends! I highly recommend this place if you are reacreating or just getting away from it all. Shangri-La, but with a heated pool☺️

The people are friendly but the security guard is a layer and a lazy drunk, accused me of vandalizing the bathroom when I didn't even go in there, also walks around with a badge and gun impersonating law enforcement

I stayed here for a week and a half and I couldn’t have stayed at a better place. Very friendly tight nit community. My children and I were treated like family. I would definitely return and recommend Olympia campground to friends and family!

Liked this place. Camp sites are first come first served. There are several obvious full time residents, but everyone there was cool, including the staff. It was quiet and peaceful, will definitely camp there again.

After calling camp ground just now just asking how much it would be for campsite for me and my 3 kids for one month the lady immediately seemed mad and said no we only do 3 night stay for tent camping we don't do longer than that. After the way I was just treated on the phone I wouldn't stay there even for a night.

I'm such a lazy drunk that I had to drive you home because you were so intoxicated that you couldn't walk, let alone drive safely. I'm such a lazy drunk that I had to go to the site you were in to stop a drunken fight between you and your lady. I'm such a lazy drunk that I had to calm other residents down because you woke them up at 2am. As you know, I work 7 days a week, minimum of 12 hour shifts. Yes I wear a badge, it clearly says security enforcement. Yes I carry a weapon for my safety, completely legally I might add. As far as falsely accusing you of anything, you were caught red handed. Perhaps if you didn't drink so much you might remember that. Sincerely, the lazy drunk security guard.
