Summit Lake

Lake

👍👍 Summit lake is amazing! Its warm, its clean, and its alot of fun to play in! It is however more of a private lake with very few places to hang out and access the water if you dont live here or have a boat or jet ski. People often mention lake,

Beautiful hike - we just did this in early November knowing there would be snow on the ground. We began our hike with no snow at the trailhead, but about 1/3 of the way through reached about 6 inches of snow which remained throughout the trail. The hike was a moderate incline the whole way to the top - no steep inclines which was nice. It was snowing at the top but we still enjoyed the view. Would love to do this hike in spring, summer, and fall!

The water is very clean here. No pubic parks on the lake though. Just one smaller boat launch.

4 stars for the beauty of the lake and the fishing. Would be 5 stars but people in powerboats need to look out for people on small craft. Running a towable in front of the boy scout camp in TEN FEET OF WATER is not only rude, but dangerous.

Love Summit Lake- lots of DNR trails with views of the Olympics, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, Mt St. Helens and Mt Adams. Many deer and fawns; I saw 19 fawns this summer! Cougar, black beer, bobcats and coyotes are spotted in the spring and summer months. Great for kayaking, waterskiing and boating!

We have a friend that lives at Summit lake. It's lovely. There is a public boat launch there with lots of parking

Went to the boat ramp area to go fishing with my son. Clean area, plenty of elbow room to cast out off the shore. The people area us seemed to have better luck with the fishing part. But I would definitely go back and try again.

No public access, place has been purchased by private individuals and there is now fencing along any part that doesnt have a home on it. So much for a public lake.

I've been going here all my life and have loved it every single time. My family owns property here and it's loads of fun. Whether you're by yourself, with your significant other, with some friends or even your great big family, you will always have a chance to have a good time.
