Place quite new,but service is great. I like the atmosphere and interior as well, everything nice even some little details Nice ambiance and good food worth that money even portions not so big. Highly recommend octopus.Also great coffee ,pay attention to spoons I really like some details like this. Suggest you to go here for dinner.

Food and drinks are overpriced for the serving size, and while the they aint bad, its really nothing to shout about. Oysters were very big, but had no flavour. Looks good on pictures, period. Service wise, we told our waiter that we wanted to keep a menu for our next wave of drinks and food, but for some reason three other waiters kept asking to take it back. We eventually gave up asking to keep the menu. Decor is okay, and we chose to seat in the garden area. However, the cushion seating is way too low for one to eat comfortably at the table, while your partner on the opposite bench is seated upright. The entire restaurant is near the road so its quite noisy. Overall we regretted choosing this place. We ditched our food mid-dinner and went to the nearby Black Sand Brewery for a second round. I recently visited an Eastern cuisine restaurant and was blown away by the beautiful and cozy interior, as well as the delicious food. But what really made my experience special was the kindness and attentiveness of the waitress named Menty. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied with our meal. The service was truly top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great place, delicious food and reasonable prices. Every day until 3 pm oysters are 10 rupees, then 30 rupees, so it's a good opportunity to come for breakfast. The owners of the restaurant have done a great job with the interior, it's elegant and stylish. Nice service, the waiter Dana was very polite, attentive and recommended good dishes. Everything is great, I recommend it

I had the pleasure of dining at Zai Cafe in Canggu, Bali, and it's undoubtedly the best place for a peaceful dinner. The Modern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine they offer is simply exceptional. The service is top-notch, and their cocktails are a treat. Cool, stylish restaurant in canggu. Probably opened recently as it was very quiet. Food was tasty and well presented, I had the octopus which was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and the vegetable stew was super tasty. The zucchini flower was also good but personally I didn’t like the Parmesan mousse as the taste was very bland. Napoleon cake was also very good, and the sprinkle of chocolate and cookies on the side, added a different texture. Really enjoyed it! Service was good and friendly, check-back were done after serving the meal. It is a bit expensive but worth it for the overall experience!

Went to Zai last night for a casual catch up with a friend. Must say. It’s a beautiful space and romantic casual atmosphere. You’re welcomed with a great personality front of house and will assist you to your chosen table/seat. Straight away was informed on the house specialities and recommendation. Menu wise, I find it very well thought out and great choices to choose from. We are content with what we ordered. In terms of pricing wise it’s decent with the portion and quality of the food. Amongst of our order the Halloumi Watermelon starter stood out more. Moussaka could be better, Pide could use more cheese or oil, hummus was decent, duck was great but the spinach was too acidic as is. If asked what’s the things to be improved, I would say the garden area couch could be more firmer as it a tad lower than the table as you sat on it. This coming from a tall fella, imagine if a smaller and shorter customer gotta seat there. :) One thing was a bit of a turned off probably they will charged you for an add on aka. 10k for a 1tbsp worth of olive oil and 25k for a ketchup (heard from a friend). Find it odd, but I don’t mind it IF it’s a homemade/imported olive oil or ketchup or any things add on. Our server Putu was great, friendly and very attentive to our table. Ultimately, it’s a good experience. Will I recommend, yes. Will I go back, sure.

It is our second time at ZAI Cafe, the first time we stopped by for drinks, we absolutely loved the place! Interior design, vibes, music and the overall atmosphere! We returned after few months for dinner ( tonight ) and we were very disappointed with both the service and food quality! We had the oysters as starters ( they were really good ) and continued with the tzatziki and zucchini starter, the steak as main course and 2 different types of grilled main courses ( shrimp and squid skewers) Food presentation is very basic, steak arrived cold at the table. Portions are very small ( for both shrimps and squid) very basic dishes. My husband wanted his steak with mashed potatoes instead of potato wedges but when his dish arrived both mashed potatoes and wedges were plated. The server did not really understand his instructions and charged us for the extra side as well. The lady who served us was extremely apologetic. The manager came and spoke to us regarding the service and food quality at the end of our dinner and offered 1 free dessert on the house to recover the service. Overall : not recommended! It is very expensive and not worth it in terms of portions and food quality. It is really such a pity! This place has such a great potential!
