Good quiet place in the middle of canggu. Easy access to a lot of cafe. It's a guesthouse, so don't expect hotel treatments, tho they provide towels and can be asked to clean your room every once in a while. Only have up to 9 rooms, and a shared kitchen where you can store things in shared fridge and cook if you feel like it. Overall it was a decent place to spend a night or two.

We stayed here for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and our room was perfect for what we needed. Lots of natural light comes into the bathroom due to a skylight (bonus!) and the windows in the room provide enough natural light. You definitely need a scooter as with most places in Canggu but the location is nice because it’s out of the bar/restaurant area - this makes the guesthouse really quiet. I would recommend staying here for sure. Rooms are cleaned regularly, as well as linens and towels. And the supplied cold/hot water is amazing! We did a little cooking here and although the items are a little old they do the job.

Value for money. Location is superb, if you have a scooter its easy to get around to, restaurants/cafe/supermarkets are also walking distance. Staffs and our neighbors are helpful and friendly. There is a share kitchen by the pool if you need to cook an egg or make your coffee. The only thing is wifi's a bit weak, cant access it from the washroom.

Pictures and old reviews were misleading as it seemed like this was a nice clean place but in reality it wasn’t. The bathroom was really dirty and smelly and the room had a strange odour that we had to buy air fresheners cos we could hardly sleep through the stench one night. The bedsheets also had a funny smell and were dirty and rough. It wasn’t all terrible because the staff were nice and chill, but i honestly think the management has been neglecting this place of late

Hi , the mag canggu moved to the new place and officially open from March 2022 , so dont be confused .if you want to inspect the propery juat follow the pin where the location is. Best Regards Nudel management

I don’t understand how this guesthouse has so many good reviews. I’m not picky but our room was really dirty. All the walls are dirty as well as the floor. The room had disgusting smell. The location is good though.

Dont usually leave reviews and my last hotel had a weird smell in my toilet that I didn't mind, but I felt like I needed to leave a review for this one. Got the deluxe bungalow. Room 1 Service 4 Location 4 The room is full of ants and bugs, there is netting which helps a little bit but the ants are everywhere, probably due to the room being a traditional room, so there are gaps in the wood where bugs and ants can get in. The toilet is nice and clean-ish. again there are lots of ants everywhere. Air conditioning is weak, and gets super hot during the day (you can feel the walls of the room are hot as well since the sun is shining right on it). Walked past the other rooms, one door was open and I could feel the super cold air from the room so I knew it was just the deluxe bungalow that had weak air conditioning. Asked to staff if we could look at other rooms to downgrade to, and at first staff said it was possible but I think after messaging the manager they didn't allow it and said that all rooms were booked (I don't know how legitimate this is because my girlfriend told me she saw the whiteboard they have and there were rooms available) However, they do have laundry service and the receptionist was patient with me taking too long to get the clothes that I needed to wash. Location wise i will say this is a quiet area in canggu so its relatively nice and peaceful? Overall a general disappointment, will probably leave this room tomorrow as I can't stand so many insects where I sleep and judging from reviews some of the other rooms are not great either.

The room was designed very minimally, had ants crawling around and there’s strong sewage smell from the toilet. Benefit is that there’s a balcony overlooking the pool for the units at level 2. For units at level 1, it’s quite exposed to everyone. This is located a distance away from the main restaurants, exercise studios and beach club which give it some privacy.

The bed is so dirty as well as the floor. The room had disgusting smell. The location is good though.

A carpet of dead ants every morning - on the balcony and in the room. Small ants in the room on the furniture. Anthill under the umbrellas near the pool. Not recommended.

Stayed in the bungalow and absolutely hated it. The aircon was too weak, making the room too hot. There were ants and mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. There are stains on the pillows and bedcovers, and the staff were extremely unaccommodating in our request to change rooms. Also, front desk is unmanned after office hours. EDIT: After posting this review, manager reached out through Agoda to try to accommodate to the change request but at this point I have already booked another room elsewhere. Wanted a refund but booking policy says no refunds allowed, despite me reaching out on both Agoda and Whatsapp to try to ask for a change of room just 2 hours into the booking. I also would like to note that I have already asked the staff beforehand to change the room and they said it cannot be done despite me seeing on their board that there were empty rooms. I am severely disappointed in their service recovery.

The only con is the bathroom, its weird. The bed is huge, the outside pool is pretty. For the money is a very nice hotel.

Very clean place in a calm area. Good size of the room and bathroom (spacious). You can rent a scooter arrange a driver or loundry via the guesthouse.

Clean and everything properly working. The walls of our room (5)where dripping water. Not sure is a normal thing maybe owners want to check that.

We stayed in a bungalow. The room was amazing, the bed very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the place clean. We had very nice stay. Want to stay longer for few days but unfortunately it was full booked.

Quite a nice stay here, but it is very very noisy at night. Alot of youngsters drink beers and play music till 1am. Beside that Mag canggu is amazing.

Solid rooms at a great price for the location! On the Main Street in canggu. Only 8mins scooter ride from the beach! Or about 15 mins to Dojo Coworking or 10 mins to Crossfit Wanderlust. A great central location.

Nice and clean rooms. Green garden. Fast wifi. Very friendly and helpful staff! I enjoyed my stay a lot. Highly recommended. (For sound sensitive people can be not easy to sleep because the property is located near always busy street.)
