This morning I had a ultrasound done on both my legs.The ultrasound technicians name is Chelsea. This young lady was so caring and new here work. I cannot say enough about Chelsea. While the procedure was going on Chelsea made this experience so comforting to me. I have catastrophic tinnitus and with that comes anxiety. As Chelsea was doing the procedure she talked to me about my issues and Chelsea responded back with comforting words. This young woman fits perfectly in this practice. I want to let you all reading this that the vein specialist employees are gold star employees. I thanked Chelsea for a tremendous job. As a person with catastrophic tinnitus nobody can imagine what anxiety I was going through. When I was called into pre op I was greeted with kindness and was told how all this procedure was going to take place. Then Dr. Magnant entered the room and explained to me how this was going to happen. Dr. Magnant is a very well spoken man that explained step by step what I was to expect. In the procedure room I was introduced to the Dr’s scrub technicians. Jessie and Crystal. Those 2 gals were so great at how to prep my leg for the procedure. When Dr Magnant entered he just started talking to me to relax me from my tinnitus. The procedure was painless and as he was conducting the procedure he took my anxiety away by talking and making me laugh , but when he needed to concentrate he did what he was trained to do and that is get the procedure done without distraction. I recommend vein Specialists in Ft. Meyers to get your self worked on by this fantastic group of 5 stars health professionals. God bless all the staff and Dr Magnet for a pain free procedure. Again. Simply the best! The staff is extremely friendly very professional and caring. I had an ultrasound on both my legs, they determined that there were several areas that needed immediate attention. My surgery was scheduled. I was offered an alternative anti anxiety and pain of pronox (laughing gas) which totally took away any anxiety and pain from the procedure and I was able to drive myself to the procedure and home. Liz and Janet were fabulous! The surgery room was spotless and they had a relaxing screen of anyplace you'd love to go while they prepped you for your procedure. Liz and Janet disinfected my leg wrapped me up so it was totally sterile and hooked me up to the laughing gas. I have had an issues with my veins forever (family history)The Vein specialist kept me smiling during the procedure and did a fabulous job. Following their directions my legs were healed in two weeks. I can't tell you how good I feel now! the pain and heaviness feeling in my legs are gone and I am not embarrassed to where my shorts and shorter skirts! You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Joseph Magnant Is very through. He explains everything about the procedure as well as causes, risks and symptoms. Dr. Joseph Magnant Is very cautious. He only performs procedures when necessary and takes every precaution. The staff are organized and very professional. The assistants that prepared me for the procedure were wonderful. They help you relax and explain everything. I can not thank Dr. Joseph Magnant and his team enough.

Suffered from numerous ailments with my legs. Lliving with pain. Dr. magnant was reccomended to me to determine if there were any vein issues. There were. He performed laser surgery on my right leg, and two areas of constant pain disappeared immediately. I found him to be very good at communicating, and very efficient. I am very grateful for the removal of some of the pains I had in my leg, and am continuing treatments to the right leg, and initiating treatment to the left leg to maximize my blood flow, prior to having surgery on my fractured foor, and a knee replacement. Blood flow is critical to healing, and he is restoring blood flow to my legs. I am hopeful that this will help with my peripheral neuropathy also. I Highly recommend him.

this is quite hard as everyone I have had interaction with has been extremely professional and courteous. After much thought one person stands out doing her job above and beyond and that’s Karen in scheduling. She is a Master don’t ever lose her and I have to say Sandy who did my ultrasound was just as good with her explanations and explaining to me what’s going on I love them both. You have quite a team around you.

After my first consultation visit, I knew this medical practice was well above average. Professional, but not stuffy. Personable, yet on task. Clear in all explanations and interpretations of tests. Procedure prep was very thorough. Dr. Magnant talked to me an appropriate amount during both my procedures to help me understand what was being done which was both reassuring and relaxing. I recently returned for my second leg procedure at Vein Specialists in Fort Myers. I was initially skeptical when I had my first leg done due to chronic issues and atrophy from nerve damage. I had such a great experience with Vein Specialists. The Dr was so fantastic along with all nurses who cared for me. My leg veins were very large, somewhat uncomfortable at times. Pietra Brites and the hole staff are extremely professional the Doctor is excellent and very nice to get alone with I had problems with my circulation and after years of taking water pills and having my left leg Swollen and discoloration around it I finally saw this doctor and he did the procedure on my leg and my leg is totally different today. I have been extremely hesitant to have surgery on my legs due to a previous bad experience 13 years ago. Dr. Magnant is awesome!! I just had my three month follow up exam after having the IVUS procedure and left iliac vein stent placement for May Thurner Syndrome. My legs feel so much better now, they are less swollen and no longer fatigued. I also feel much better without the constant pain that I had in my pelvis and abdomen, and pain in my knees. Dr Magnant is a great surgeon, the staff is so friendly and professional. Office is super clean, went by today to get some more compression socks, Dena was so helpful as well as the assistant that measured my legs. I don’t live in Florida but if I am Ft Myers and need socks or something with my veins I always stop by.

Everyone is very Proffesional yet kind and caring. The atmosphere is great. The procedure is effective and simple. My first leg felt so much better within a few days. My other leg was a bit more involved and painful but still not bad at all. I would recommend Pronox for anyone who may be nervous. I did not need it for the first procedure but I’m happy I made the choice to have it for the second procedure.

Last week I had the privilege of attending a two-day advanced endovenous ablation training course with Dr. Magnant at Vein Specialists in Fort Myers, Florida, and I can confidently say it was a five-star experience! I’m a general surgeon with over 30 years of experience who has recently transitioned my practice to wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. As a result, I have now been presented with the opportunity to treat patients with venous insufficiency as part of my wound care practice. In my quest to receive the best training possible, I sought out the finest and most experienced vein triage training center in the United States, which led me to Dr. Magnant's training program in Fort Myers and his private Vein Specialist clinic. During these two days, I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of patients with significant venous disease that I might encounter in my new role. Dr. Magnant's training opened my eyes to the importance of identifying patients at an earlier stage of the disease process, allowing earlier intervention and thus preventing the more advanced stages of the disease, such as stasis dermatitis, venous ulcers and lipodermatosclerosis. The experience was not only enlightening but also incredibly rewarding. Dr. Magnant has an infectious personality and sense of humor and has great rapport with his patient. His staff was exceptionally accommodating and helpful throughout the training. I had the chance to interact with numerous patients undergoing ablation procedures, gaining invaluable insights into the practical aspects of venous disease treatment. I also had the privilege of observing new patient consultations and follow-up appointments, deepening my understanding of patient care in this field. A special shout-out to Chelsea in the ultrasound department, who went above and beyond to share with me her expert skills and technique in diagnostic ultrasound. I had a great experience getting a procedure done at Dr Magnant's office. I had been to the office on several occasions prior to this but hadn't met the doctor yet. When he walked in I immediately felt at ease. He was friendly and joked around with my wife and I. He spent time explaining everything that he would be doing and answered any questions that we had. His assistants, Janet and Loren were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole thing. Hi Everyone I waited until my procedures were complete before writing a review. My right leg was horrible, with varicose veins bulging all over the place, both legs ached constantly, and at night they were restless, my feet always tingled and I had some swelling in my ankles. I didn't think anything could be done, because previously I was at a different vein doctor and when he was done my right leg look worse than before. I was disgusted. I decided to try one more time I did some research and talked to my pain management doctor about Dr. Magnant. I then made and appointment with Dr. Magnant. I wasn't expecting much, because of the other vein doctor I had seen. Dr. Magnant examined me and said he could fix my legs. At first I was reluctant but when Dr. Magnant was finished my legs were GREAT. No more bulging veins, no more restless legs, no more swelling and tingling. If you are wondering about Dr. Magnant staff, let me just say they are the best. During my visits I've seen ultra sound technicians "Brandy, Rachael and Chelsea", yes it took me a few appointments to get my legs better and these ladies checked progress to make sure everything was OK, along the way. They all are pleasant, professional and just very nice people. Dr. Magnant has other staff members that I interacted with like scheduling, check-in and other departments, everyone was so nice, professional and it felt good just being around them. I hope that I spelled everyone's names correctly and got their duties correct. Everyone was great. Each of them explained what they would be doing and verified that with you. The Vein Specialist, Dr Joe Magnant and his entire team were a godsend to me. In a time when our world is in such an uncertain pandemic and I in extreme pain, they got me in immediately for an ultrasound and within minutes of the test Dr Magnant came in to explain the results and what my options would be. I found the entire staff to be the most pleasant, caring and competent. I am extremely confident that I chose the best vein specialist.

I am only 29 years but have been struggling with achey tired legs for years. Once I finally decided to get an ultrasound and see what was going on, I was so glad I went to Vein Specialists. The ultrasound technician was super friendly and knowledgeable. She knew I was nervous and answered all of my questions throughout the process. After the ultrasound process, I received a thorough review of the results from Dr. Magnant and finally had an answer to why my legs were so sore! The vein disease was more severe than I ever would have anticipated and I look forward to getting the problem fixed in the near future by Dr. Magnant.

I have been a patient of Dr. Magnant's practice since 2015. Having had Endovenous Ablation and Injection Sclerotherapy done twice. My leg is worse than ever. Where the Sclerotherapy was done late 2019 the spider veins have spread, and there is swelling in my ankle. I went for a second post op appointment at 18 weeks, results were not good at the first post op and I was told to wait and hope for better results. Those appointments were with the person that performed the Sclerotherapy. Knowing I am dissatisfied, she ask me what bothers me most! She explained that we could start the procedures all over again. In good conscience I can not recommend this practice. This is a follow up to my previous review. Dr. Magnant contacted me personally and suggested I have another ultrasound, which I did. There was also a follow up appointment with the Dr. to discuss and explain further treatment he recommends. Thank you Dr. Magnant for taking the time to personally address my concerns.

Dr Magnant is phenomenal. He is definitely a vein expert. Has cramps, pain and swollen ankles for many years. Was told by most Doctors it was due to getting older. Im not even 60 yet!! I have had varicose veins in my leg since Im 18 years old. Had a sclerotherapy treatment at age 23. On a whim I made an appointment with Vein Center and Dr. Magnant. I was surprised at the level of damage due to leaky valves in leg veins that weren’t working properly. Dr. Magnant ablated the bad veins. Simple in office procedures and then last week he removed the varicose veins. Minimal pain and recent ultrasound test showed the remarkable results of the successful ablation on bad veins. Dr Magnant showed me before and after results. I also don’t have the cramps or pain anymore and am walking pain free 5 miles per day!! I highly recommend Dr Magnant and the Vein Center. They REALLY Do Know Veins!!

After my vein surgery on the first leg! I noticed that the nighttime severe cramps had dissipated on that leg only. So excited that three weeks out, my leg not only looked better, but i felt better too. Today, the other leg that was still waking me with severe cramping , has been operated on. I would highly recommend Dr. Magnant and his staff. I went to Dr. Magnant because of years of leg swelling and pain. My calves were so swollen all of the time that I could not wear boots that were not "wide calf". My shoes always had to be "wide" because my feet would swell terribly by the end of the day. Forget about being able to wear the cute rainboots. My ankles had also disappeared for what I assumed would be for life! My job was very demanding and required weekly travel, which I attributed to the difficulty with my legs swelling and pain. I wish I had known about venous insufficiency and varicose veins much earlier in my life. I feel that I suffered for no good reason other than lack of knowledge. My leg issues actually started in my 30's and now in my early 50's I realize something could be done. After having a consultation with Sharon, ARNP, she said that I "checked all of the boxes" for venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Sharon did a great job explaining what venous insufficiency and varicose veins are and how they affect my body. She also provided me with brochures about my "disease" , which I was grateful to have because I never thought in a million years that I had issues with my veins. Dr. Magnant was wonderful. He walked me through every step of the procedures. He is probably one of the most caring and personable doctors that I have met! I had two procedures in each leg. Now I have ankles again and I can see the bone! My calves are no longer swollen and I can even wear rainboots for the first time in my life! And I have lost six pounds without even trying! I can now toss the "wide calf" boots! Thank you Dr. Magnant!

I went to see Dr. Magnant for a varicose vein I didn’t like. Sometimes I had restless legs & swelling. Being in my 30’s I never thought that what I thought was a superficial problem could have lead to more serious problems later in life and other problems I was having already were all related to my veins. Dr. Magnant makes you feel so comfortable and is really good at distracting you while doing the procedure that’s it feels so quick and painless. I have already recommended ppl go see him because why should anyone wait till the problem is severe. If you have thought about it go see him he’s the best:))

I experienced pelvic pain for over a year. Multiple doctors, MRI, CT Scans, Xrays, Physical Therapy, Pain Management Injections.....with NO relief. All tried to treat the pain & no one could tell me what was causing the pain. Then I found Vein Specialists........after my initial appointment not only did they diagnose the pain (May Thurner Syndrome) but they had a plan of action to eliminate it. Couldn't be happier I chose Dr. Magnant for my procedure. Both Dr. and staff put you at ease before, during and after the surgery. He specializes and only performs vascular surgery, which is the reason I chose Vein Specialists. Anyone considering varicose vein treatment should seek treatment by Dr. Joseph Magnant!

I sought help primarily for leg pain at the front of my shins. Testing indicated valve leakage in veins in both legs and a bilateral procedure was recommended. A few hours after the right vein procedure was performed I had total relief from the pain. There was minimal discomfort during and afterward. Dr. Magnant and his staff are very knowledgeable and caring. Everything was explained thoroughly from the initial examination, through the procedures, and after the post procedure ultra sounds. Unquestionably the doctor to see for vein problems.

This facility is the real deal. Professional and friendly staff, and a highly skilled surgeon, Dr. Magnant, who treated me for leaky valves. The procedure was surprisingly quite painless, and throughout the process I was given an explanation of everything that was being done.
