Gleich vorab: Wir würden wieder in diesem Hotel absteigen und es hat uns gut gefallen. Dennoch sind mehr als 3,5 -4 Sterne als Bewertung keinesfalls drin. Es handelt sich um ein Hotel mitten in der Stadt mit nur 5 Zimmern. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und es wird ein kostenfreies (kleines) Frühstück geboten. Der Poolbereich ist sehr schon gestaltet, viele andere Teile des Gartens sind noch nicht so richtig fertig. Man muss das Hotel allerdings erst einmal finden. Die frühere Werbung an der Hauswand ist kaum mehr zu erkennen und ein anderes Schild haben wir nicht gesehen. Parken kann man dann auf dem Hof. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, aber ok. Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer war sehr ernüchternd. Die Dusche ok - aus dem Wasserkran kam ein kaum erkennbares Rinnsal. Internet und Kühlschrank funktionierten gut, die Klimaanlage auch. Der TV Empfang war schlechter als bei meinen Eltern 1970 mit kaputter Antenne. Die Betten waren bequem. Eines der beiden mussten wir uns aber mit einem Ameisenvolk teilen... In der Stadt, Geschäften, Restaurants ist man zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten.

We stayed here one day and it was great. A enormous garden full of trees and few cats, little turtles. A little heaven. The room is big. The owner is Romano a very kind and helpful man. Thanks a lot for the suggestions and the very good breakfast.

An amazing stay!!! The owner Roman is so helpful and kind, the place has everything, it's clean with wifi and air-conditioning and even the TV. The garden is beautiful with a swimming pool, hammocks and sun beds. The breakfast is free and magical. We'll highly recommend this place for anyone.

Great place. Very tranquil. Great attendance by Roman, the proprietor. Rooms are big and comfortable, and well away from the road, so quiet. Wifi is decent. Bathroom is very basic, with low water pressure and you can't put paper in the toilet, though. Has an excellent swimming pool and jungle garden area. Safe parking on site. Good central location.

I loved the green areas and little paths to go between the areas of the hotel. It's very quiet and can breath the nature. Comfortable and big rooms with AC Possible to sleep on hamacs and the pool is excellent for the warm weather. Owner don Román, was on top of all details and ready to help on any requests. Breakfast is very good. Location is excellent easy to walk around town to find food and groceries. Has parking area inside the property.

The nicest hostel with the nicest owner for a very good price! Private parking, private pool, and a lovely breakfast of local friuts, bread and tea/coffee. Wifi is sadly available only in the common area, but it's not a problem, since everything you might want to know - you can ask Romam. He will tell you where to go on your daily trips, where the best restaurants are, and which are the best routes to take. Any time you need him, just ring the bell :)

The most attentive host we've ever had. Gracious, helpful (he even drew a map of the region, and genuinely caring. Lovely pool, attractive grounds with a giant strangler fig, and a family of owls loving on the property.

for a rustic Posada, el Jardín is excellent. the garden area and the pool are beautiful and very well kept. the room, while a bit simple was very roomy, with a living area and a small bar/kitchen with a small refrigerator. In addition, secure/private parking is included. Roman, the owner is super nice and very informative about the whole "ruta Puuc". I highly recommend Posada el Jardín for those going to Uxmal and the other surrounding Mayan ruins!

Super netter und sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Der Pool liegt inmitten einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage. Morgens gab es ein leckeres Frühstück mit Kaffee, frischem Obst und Brot mit Honig! Absolut zu empfehlen.

Es echt tolle Unterkunft. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet aber sauber und mit Ventilator, Klimaanlage/AC und Fernseher. Ein Traum ist der Garten und der Poolbereich der liebevoll gestaltet und gepflegt ist. Wir kommen auf jede Fall wieder!
