Classy restaurant with very good food. We made our reservation one day in advance using the contract web form on their website and received a first response offering a table only a few minutes later. We confirmed and one day later entered the very cozy and bright location. We were greeted very friendly and escorted to our table. I highly recommend a reservation - I had to stop counting how many walk in guests they had to send away (despite a sign on the door) because they had no free tables... We chose Croquettes for starters, which were crispy and tasty, prawns with garlic and chateaubriand for the main course and sorbet for dessert. Everything tasted very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly, a bit in a hurry, maybe, we even asked for a short break between main course and dessert. Many locals and regular guests so probably not a tourist trap ;)

Warm & inviting, particularly friendly staff- but pricey and a bit of a swing and a miss overall. Most of the gems of the meal were swimming in sauce. All the fish we tried was over cooked and everything lacked seasoning. Still a beautiful restaurant and terrific service.

First visit to Bruges for a special Birthday. Cosy Restaurant not far from the main square. Pre-booked weds eve 18.45, table for 2. Staff were a delight, friendly, knowledgable, professional. Food was of a very high standard, plenty of choice on the menu. May be alittle pricey for some but as a special occasion, feel it was value for money. Would highly recommend and will return

We came here for our anniversary meal and were a bit disappointed especially because we saw the good reviews and the menu looked fantastic! The restaurant does have a smokey smell when you enter probably from the open grill. The service overall was slow. We were not asked about allergies and were given a crab dip as an offering which we could not eat. The dauphinoise was tasty. The chateaubriand “italian way” was totally not what I was expecting. The plate was filled with arugula leaves and the meat was camouflaged underneath the salad. Although a little burnt as I asked for it well done, I still managed to enjoy my dish because I loved the quantity of salad I got. I would recommend some lemon or seasoning though as it did taste quite bland. However my partner’s side salad was unseasoned and bland and should definitely be improved. Overall, with some small changes I believe this restaurant could be fantastic but I would not recommend here for a special dinner. I would recommend it for an every day chilled dinner, but for these prices I’m not sure if that would be sensible. To each their own. I will say one thing though - the chef at the grill was also personally thanking and saying goodbyes to the customers when they were leaving so this was a very positive thing I observed. When we were leaving he did not do this but I think that is because he was busy.

Kleines, schickes Restaurant in der Nebenstraße mit einmaligem Flair. Hatten das Tagesmenü mit einer Flasche Rose. Flotte, höfliche Bedienung. Koch kann man beim zubereiten zuschauen. Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe zum Beruf gearbeitet wird.

Nach einer Woche Belgien durften wir durch Zufall unseren letzten Abend in Brügge hier verbringen und sind begeistert. Das besonders (!) freundliche Service spiegelt die Raffinesse der Speisen wider. 100 % Empfehlung. Vielen Dank!

Just an unbelievable dinner. Comfy, cosy and beautifully relaxed with an extra special feel. The food was just delicious. Our main was the 50/50 chateaubriand steak and tartare and it was one of the best dishes I have ever had. The staff were truly fabulous and we had the most excellent evening. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Main reason to go here is the food. Amazing chateaubriand; cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, flavourful, decent portion. Friendly staff, although it seemed a bit rushed. Quick service.

We paid a little more here but it was really worth it! The king prawns were amazing as was everything else. Great service and great food you will not be disappointed.

Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. The food was incredibly tasty and fresh. The kitchen's meat and fish station is located in the dining room so you can see your food get prepared right in front of you. A fantastic dining experience! Bonus: As it was cold outside a spider found its way inside so the chef got on a chair and saved his patrons to a round of applause! A heroic act!

Good- mainly French food like most food in Belgium.

We went there on a busy Saturday. The menu was simple but absolutely delicious, in every little detail. We started with a little crab mousse with bread, then a fillet of beef with fries and a delicious salad, and finally a creme brulee. The different sauces that accompanied every dish were amazing. The service was very polite and friendly, and the menu is excellent value for money. The decoration is elegant and simple, the place quiet. We will definitely come back.

Friendly service and a very cute restaurant. However, we was very disappointed by the Belgian entrecôte, although the temperature was spot on, the meat was extremely tough and chewy. The mushroom sauce was amazing and so was the dauphinoise potatoes. A great restaurant but unfortunately we left disappointed.

The best dinner we have had in years! The fish gratin was very good, the chateubriand was outstanding and the Irish and Italian coffees were delicious! Service was excellent.

Had a wonderful dinner there yesterday for my partner’s birthday. The atmosphere is very warm and romantic, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. The staff was very generous and kind, and even offered us dessert and limoncello! I would highly recommend!!

This is a gem of a restaurant in Bruges. We had a wonderful meal. The service and ambiance were spot on and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely fantastic place. Food was amazing! However, don’t over order like we did with 2 starters & a main each as plenty of food especially as they give you a complimentary starter as well. Service superb & a great atmosphere. We will definitely return. Many thanks to the staff.

Really good service. Not too chique plate presentation, but instead you get a refreshingly different plate😀 Be sure to make reservations some days in advance, definitely worth it. The meat is so well prepared! Tip, try the cosmopolitin coctail😅

Incredibly friendly and efficient service, accommodating all guests with a smile. The food was excellent (both the fish and meat options) and so was the ambience.

We were greeted with a warm welcome.We we’re guided to a super round table with comfortable chairs placed in the corner.The tables were laid with white linen.Our aperitif selection was taken and served swiftly.The menu,available in English, included a Grande Menu at €58- being good value for the quality.A crab mouse was sent from the kitchen.The châteaubriand was cooked well with a selection of sauces to choose from.Desserts were light and delicious.The House red,Syrah was pleasant. Staff were attentive and friendly. We will return.

We had a great experience at Au Petit Grand. The staff were super friendly and very quick, the food was good and the environment was classy. Highly recommended!

Had a Spectacular dinner.

This is unbelievable good! Great atmosphere, super good food, already had a top 10 for steaks and now started with a top 10 salad. Never had such a complete salad…can’t imagine a better one 😍

Food was good. However, service is very average. We were unwelcomed because we wanted to share one big main. Since we are sharing big portion of meat, we were not given bread basket etc. When we asked for dessert menu, they forgot to bring it… so you can find better good with better service easily in Brugge rather than this one..
