The mole is excellent. I had chicken enchiladas in mushroom sauce, which was divine! I thought the soup was a little weird. Onion and cilantro floating on top and rice sunken to the bottom. Cilantro and onions unevenly chopped. The place has a nice atmosphere and Pueblo feel. Bathrooms were clean. Food was a little slow to come out and a little pricey, but not bad.

Attentive. Authentic flavor. Homemade traditional Mexican Cuisine. This is not a phony Mexican vibe restaurant, this is an authentic Mexican ambiance and experience. Price is affordable. Portions are big.

We ate really well here. Of course mole was ordered, along with a small array of other dishes and some drinks (including an excellent horchata to finish). Our waiter was great. He spoke no English but was very patient in our attempts at broken Spanish. The ladies in the kitchen who were cooking we also really nice and seemed very pleased that we were enjoying the food (our table was in front of their counter). US dollars were accepted at a very fair exchange rate. No hesitations in recommending this family run restaurant for lunch.

Loved this place. Service was great. The food was delicious. Hubby had the chicken enchiladas and I had the Pollo Con Mole Poblano. The mole sauce was yummy and it was the best chicken I think I've ever had. Easy walk just across the border to get there. Highly recommend.

If you are interested in having authentic food, this is the place. It is one of the original and pioneer restaurants in Tijuana, and it has kept its original food recipes and great taste. The place is very family oriented and makes you feel right at home since the minute you walk in. Very friendly and fast service. Without sacrificing the greatest taste of the food. If you enjoy Mole, definitely this is the right place.

Excellent little place, I love every bit of it (maybe the restroom not so much). The place has a kind of house warmth vibe to it. The staff is very helpful and kind, they answer all your questions and requests. The food is definitely amazing, just get enmoladas, trust me!

Horrible customer service and food is not well tasting. My order was wrong and then wing again.

I grew up in this neighborhood and this is by far a home feel place with delicious mole and drinks. I now live right across the border. When I'm craving mole I hop 1 station away on the trolley, cross the border and walk 5 minutes to this restaurant (3 blocks). It's that close!! I highly recommend this family owned place.
