Built facing the sea, Caz Bar sits just a few meters away from the beach which is just across the road from it. The establishment itself offers a diverse menu that consists of snacks, sandwiches, main course, and drinks. Be sure to try their hamburger as it is, in my opinion, one of the best in town: big in size, superb flavour, and comes with fries on the side. One much requested item is the «nu’u been» (coconut water), so don’t miss your chance and order one of those as they can run out of coconuts, especially if they are serving many customers. I do consider this bar an expensive one for the ordinary human being, with prices starting at $5 and going up for the dishes. Nevertheless, for most of the food, the taste justifies the price. Seating is available inside the bar and also by the sea, one can even order and pay from the beach without ever stepping inside the bar. Parking space is available for customers, as well as toilet facilities, television, and a pool table inside. In short, Caz Bar offers a almost perfect place to enjoy a cold Bintang whilst watching the sunset at the end of a long day work. The reason I give 1 star is for the price of the food, the staff who are not friendly (apart from one guy) or professional, and the manager is also a rude person. I don't recommend this place, because you can find better with the same prices along the same road.

Amazing friendly service, great food, and fantastic ambience. I mean, it's dinner & drinks on a beach! Our visit was very quiet, as it's way out of the city. If you want somewhere with a great relaxed vibe in Dili, definitely come out to the Caz Bar. Meals are Western, but try their young coconut spiced up with some rum. Delicious.

Try the hamburger, it's very good! Espectacular sunsets! It has tables by the sea and inside the establishment too, it has a pool table, bathroom and parking. The quality of service depends a lot on the mood and personality of each of the waiters, in short: you are left to your own luck in this respect.

A nice simple beach restaurant. With plastic chairs and a small table four groups of guests who eat directly on the beach itself. Wonderful views of the sunsets. The food is generally good. The crowd is a mix of Timorese and expats. I would give them four stars if they didn't keep a monkey and a deplorable cage. It's just sad and really out of place. Sometimes other customers usually youth will bring Bluetooth speakers and start playing music loudly. So there's a chance that the quiet getaway you were hoping for will be disrupted. They do accept credit cards, but charge a fee. They have well over 50 items on the menu, I hope they bring back the avocado bacon tomato sandwich though.

3.5 rating for the place and food. Located in Areia Branca Dili, Caz Bar is one of those cafes that provide tables along the beach. Typically crowded during weekend with tourists or just local residence. Provide western food.

Best place in Dili to have a meal, and you can have it on the beach. The coffee here is amazing. It is worthwhile just to come here and have a romantic dinner on the sand as the sun goes down. It is definitely a must do when you are in Dili

A Dili expat favourite, understandably so for good food in a wonderful setting, sitting on the beach. It isn’t flash (plastic beach chairs) but is a highly enjoyable experience, which also has a flag filled main building

Caz Bar is iconic, as are Dino and the team. Always friendly and efficient, Caz Bar is basic but good and the perfect place to watch the sunset. Honestly I come here for the vibe and atmosphere, not so much the food. Having said that, I order the Buddha bowl every single time and it’s a generous portion with lots of fresh ingredients, goes well with a fresh coconut!

Our room was very large with a sink in the room. Though the furnishings appeared dated, it was very clean and met our needs. We even had a television in our room! We had a shared bathroom and that was no problem as there were two bathrooms on our floor.

Best place in Dili to grab a glass of wine or a cold coconut and watch the sunset. Food is typical pub-style pizzas, burgers and nachos. They do some great pastas too.

The service at the Caz Bar is exceptionally friendly, the food is superb, and the ambience is simply fantastic. Located on the beach, it offers a perfect setting for a delightful evening of dinner and drinks. Despite being situated far away from the city, our visit was peaceful and enjoyable. If you're looking for a place with a calm and relaxing atmosphere in Dili, the Caz Bar is definitely worth a visit. Although the menu mostly comprises Western dishes, I highly recommend trying their young coconut mixed with some rum for a delicious twist.

We chose to eat here on both nights that we were in Dili, either side of our trek. I loved the relaxed atmosphere of dining on the beach. Perky pigs snuffle around the beach, kids play and the lovely sunset awaits you. The food is very reasonably priced and the beer is cold. Locals and expats eat here and its not crowded. Put this spot on your must do list if you are lucky enough to be in Dili.

Cool little beach bar with seats on the sand. Easy parking and friendly service. Great for brunch in particular! Frequented by kiwis and Aussies

One of my all time favourite places to have snacks and beer in Dili. Served in beach. Nachos and sandwiches are very good and beautiful environment makes them ever better.
