It
feels
so
good
to
have
the
entire
beach
to
yourself!
!
!
I
think
I
may
be
the
first
Chinese
to
come
here
from
China
specifically
for
tourism.
The
weather
was
pretty
good
on
the
day
we
arrived.
The
sea
is
particularly
beautiful!
Moreover,
there
was
no
one,
not
even
the
fishermen.
Locals
nearby
said
it
is
best
not
to
arrive
after
2pm
as
it
may
rain.
In
fact,
it
was
true,
but
maybe
I
was
lucky
and
the
clouds
drifted
away
after
a
while.
However,
one
embarrassing
thing
during
the
rainy
season
is
that
there
may
not
be
any
fishermen
on
the
beach
to
take
you
to
the
other
side
(jaco
island).
Normally
it
costs
5-10usd
to
have
someone
take
you
there
and
pick
you
up.
To
be
honest,
the
scenery
on
the
northern
coast
of
East
Timor
is
much
better
than
that
of
Bali.
However,
the
B&B
in
Tutuala
is
no
longer
open,
so
it
may
be
more
reliable
to
find
a
place
to
stay
in
Los
Palos.
Ask
the
locals
to
help
you
find
a
truck
to
tutuala
and
then
transfer
to
a
motorcycle,
or
you
can
ride
a
motorcycle
in
about
two
hours.
(If
you
are
taking
photos
while
riding,
try
to
reserve
four
hours.)
The
Chinese
are
very
popular
in
East
Timor,
so
there
is
no
need
to
worry
about
having
a
place
to
live,
but
the
conditions
may
not
be
very
good.
The
road
from
Los
Palos
is
not
easy
to
walk,
so
try
not
to
take
the
one
from
Merahara,
especially
by
car
(you
can't
cross
the
river
at
all).
Part
of
the
road
is
under
construction
and
the
road
condition
is
very
poor.
It
will
take
a
lot
of
time,
although
the
scenery
will
be
much
better.
!
Due
to
tourism
development,
the
last
8km
is
now
entirely
asphalt!
As
beautiful
as
the
road
from
dili
to
baucau!
