Amazing find opposite Timor Plaza and a great place to escape the somewhat sanitised and commercial plaza. Freshly made from scratch delicious and authentic Indian cuisine served with a smile and a few stories by the owner chef Hari.

I went mid-day based on a recommendation. It was easy to find. The food was amazing and fresh. The establishment is clean and comfortable, and the staff is welcoming. Hari is the owner and chef but also has helpers. He takes great pride in the food he prepares, and this is evident in the delicious meal he served up! The aloo gobi hit the spot, along with the naan. I will definitely be going back! Edited to add: this is my weekly go-to place, the dosas on Sundays are amazing, the aloo paratha, the butter chicken and dhal makhani are the best I've had, the samosas, the naan...after a long day, I can count on a delivery! It takes time because the food is prepared fresh, worth the wait! This place is truly a gem.

Harri is a curry legend and lovely guy. Wait service has improved greatly since my first visit. Bring good company because the cooking only starts when you order. It's so worth the wait!!!

Don't let place fool you. This is best food Dili can offer. I prefer takeaway since the place isn't that comfy. But the main thing is the food. Delicious authentic indian food available here. Prices are affordable, a bit over $10 per dish. For takeaway, call and make pre-order. Kitchen is a bit slow sometimes. But it is worth to wait!
