Timor Plaza

Shopping center

👍👍 Timor plaza is the most modern and luxurious place I visited while on visit to Timor. It's compares to an American style mall in many ways. It has a variety of stores: grocery, electronic, travel, clothing. Just to name a few. The plaza has a food court. It even sells gelato. Yes, I was very surpris... People often mention Dili, mall, Timor, shopping, shops, plaza, court, good, shop, service,

Timor plaza is the most modern and luxurious place I visited while on visit to Timor. It's compares to an American style mall in many ways. Plus there's a Burger King and a movie theater outside right of the main parking lot.

Avoid 'Harsha' electronics. Refused to exchange a faulty product but would sell you a second product- effectively you get to pay twice. Their 'generous' offer was a $10 discount. Motto: 'Harsha' by name, 'Harsher' by nature. Overpriced, poor quality and non-existent service. Avoid them. Do yourself a favour by by not going there in the first place.

One stop service concept, all is here. Hotel, apartment, mall, restaurants, office space and entertainment. Parking space is available, security is 24 hours and safe. All is clean and good.

Timor Plaza is the first modern super market in Dili since East Timor became an independent nation of Timor-Leste in 2000 ago. Facilities that are here quite comprehensive, ranging from hotels, shopping malls, cinemaplex, sale of souvenirs, there is even a section that's leased to foreign embassies that do not yet have its own building in the city of Dili. The place is also have a strategic location in the highway Comoro, close to the Nicolau Lobato airport and not far from the center of the government of Timor-Leste in the heart of Dili. I believe this place is very qualified to be visited and you will never regret it.

As a tourist, nothing much of interest at this shopping mall. Most locals hang out here, there’s a food court, MoneyGram to transfer money back to other countries, lots of phone shops. Also this is the place to catch the Babaduk bus to Kupang (based on what my hostel staff told me). Microlet 9, 10 and 13 pass by this area.

The place to get SIM card here. Two floors mall. There are cinema, Gloria jeans coffee, Burger King fast food, bread shop, mobile phone shop and one hypermart in the mall.

Located in the heart if Dili, most crowded shopping mall in Dili. It has space for exhibition outside the shopping mall but still in the Complex where there are many other shops and restaurant

This is one of the nicest hotels in Dili. That said, there is also a lot that's a bit disappointing about it. The rooms have some repair issues, my entryway floor was mushy indicating some rotting subflooring. Also, there was a lot of construction repair going on while I was a guest, floor replacements, that for the week I was there meant I had to listen to hammering and jack hammering all day long. VERY noisy and meant you had to tip toe through the lobby, use alternative exits and entrances ... a lot to tolerate over a holiday stay (I was there for New Year's). Another issue I had was money, I arrived with mostly $100 bills that are not accepted at most stores for lack of ability to make change. The hotel will not accept older bills, only newer ones. So they only accept one kind of credit card, Visa and only certain kinds of cash. Be prepared! The staff is super nice though. Tipping is not expected but is definitely appreciated and you will see a difference in service! Be aware that they advertise a pool, but don't REALLY have a pool. It belongs to the entire compound of buildings, not the hotel. To use it, you have to leave the building, walk down an alley, use a code to go into a different building ... several buildings over. The pool is mostly used by apartment renters, not hotel guests. You need to get directions and a code from the front desk. It is NOT convenient. Rooms come with a mini fridge, but it may not be very cold. No microwaves. There is usually an electric pot for hot water. If you require sugar substitutes or special dietary items, bring it with you. No alternatives are available. Internet isn't terrible, some of the best on the island. However it is not suitable for downloads of media. Come with any movies, videos, or large files pre-downloaded.

Timor Plaza is the largest shopping center in Dili, you can get most things from, you might be able to pick up a mobile phone if your lucky, it has accommodation and a restaurant and on Saturdays there is the night market, is a must visit when in Dili.

Great supermarket, most people speak broken English or will understand it.

Cool place to visit if your in Dilli and want to grab a mobile Sim card. Wide range of shops and a food court if you want to grab something to eat while your having a shop. The day I visited there was some cultural entertainment in the center which was cool to see. The center lost power briefly but was back on within a couple of minutes. I visited around lunch time and the center was very busy but I saw this as part of the experience.

Timor plaza is one of the best mall in the Dili, Timor leste. It's only one mall and it's this Timor plaza. It consists of electronic gadgets, kitchens utensils, dress, supermarket and restaurant. It has Timor hotel with restaurant and casino also available here. Almost 5 minutes from Dili airport. The office staff are very good and neatly maintained places.

Small shopping mall, not much to buy. Just a starting point for TL in the future. We call more investors to here.

Large mall area and plenty of food options in the food court area. If you need sim card they are on the second floor. Make sure you take your passport. Best thing is the Saturday night live market with food and music

Comprised of clothing shops, supermarkets, law offices, coffee house, food court, restaurants, cinema, gym, bakery, phone repair shop, bookshop, stationery shop, electronics shops, pharmacy, and almost anything you can think of as long it is not a very specific item. It's more expensive than other places, specially clothing items. Be aware of the fake items being sold here (adibas, neike, pila) which are expensive as well.

One and only place you can get everything under one roof. And they have elevator. And I love the restaurant on level 5. One of the best joint to have good food. And the ambience is very good.

Nice shopping mall, a bit old, but you can count on it in Dili, hopefully there will appear more new modern malls.

It’s the best business office, entertainment and retail centre in Dili Timor Leste. The plaza offered food court, Cinema, Gym, casino and number of retails services including supermarkets👌💚 Toilets needs more attention and service. Toilet sanitizer needs to be replaced. Currently it’s too big to fit into one toilet room. Toilet paper stock most of the time is not available 😔

Came here to shop and eat. There's one food stall in the food court, named Oleole, which sells Timorese food. The food is super delicious. I normally don't eat fish, but the grilled fish here is so fresh and tasty that I kept ordering that when I came to the plaza. There are many shops selling various product, so I can basically say this is the one-stop shopping destination in Dili.

The best accomodation in Dili! Would highly recommend for any travellers. Great hospitality, excellent service, very secure, super convenient as its attached to a mall selling SIM cards, food, clothes and more.

Quiet a nice mall & plaza, the foods are not very overpriced compared to average. One thing that quiet bothers me: the parking attendants are everywhere. Why not implement a centralised parking system?
