This is the kind of place people should check out when looking for traditional food. A small family owned restaurant where mostly locals hangout. The price is very inexpensive with some options. It's not fancy, but has this grandma cooked homelike feeling. The people don't speak much English, but the menu has English translations and the dishes are very simple to understand. Really recommended.

This home style restaurant almost brought tears to my eyes. I honestly felt like I was at my grandma's home having a home cooked meal. Amazing food and such a good price. I had to translate into Albanian my message for the old lady running the place.

Most authentic albanian food - and you get a bang for your buck. Favorite restaurant in Tirana, where the mother cooks and the owner serves with the help of his two young sons. Make sure to order the housestyle Qofte and the Fërgesë, but in general both meats and vegetable dishes are fantastic. Only caveat: the owner shouldn‘t be a waiter, as is behaviour while serving is rough, dismissive and at times rude, almost making you feel a bit uncomfortable in his presence. However, the food is that tasty and the price/value ratio is that good, it makes you forget the owner’s unwelcoming presence, making it a barely deserved 5 stars review for the mother‘s cooking and the sons’ serving.

Amazing authentic food. During my 4 days I went twice and the food was so delicious. The owner is super friendly. I tried traditional food elsewhere, and this proved to be the best. The prices are very affordable and the quality exceeds the price. Super recommended

Lovely local lunch spot near the market and a short walk from the city's main square. We went there 3 times as the food was so good and the raki was only 40p a shot! The owner was very friendly and always dressed very glamorous. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. If you're visiting Tirana, I strongly recommend you visit this place.

The best Tave Kosi I had in all of Tirana. I couldn't find a better Tave Kosi elsewhere so I came back here on the last day of my trip in Albania. Great service from the staff and crew.

Nice local affordable restaurant offering traditional albanian food. We had dinner for aprroximately 600 lek per person. Quite simple, but tasty and located in the centre.

Excellent traditional Albanian food right in the middle of the bazar. The young waiter spoke perfect English and was very helpful explaining the dishes. Great prices so we tried 3 dishes and very good wine prices too. Definitely eat here if you're visiting Tirana.

The restaurant "te mari tradita" is so good! Great for trying Albanian food. I'm a vegetarian and shared the fergese, beans and oven vegetables with my partner and it was all delicious and very cheap. Felt like a place locals go rather than just for tourists.

Albanian traditional food, great atmosphere and superb attention. We tried the chicken soup, pepper with rice and meat, Greek salad and other two meat dishes (not sure of the names), and loved them all. The venue is really nice, located in a walkable square right next to a traditional market. Overall the experience was great, both for the food and the place itself.

Small and Comfy place. It has the homemade style of cooking which adds up to the Albanian Traditional Dish. Ordered Tavë Kosi for dinner and two half pints of Korça. Tavë Kosi - Nice, very hot and served in a hot plate. Perfect Albanian Traditional Food. Maybe add more pepper / chili flakes for flavor. Total Cost: LEK 740 / GBP 6.22 To be honest, I didn’t know what was the brand of the beer the owner/server served me. It was draught beer with Prishtina brand on it. But hey, any local beer is fine by me not going to complain. If you’re looking for local food, this is the place!

Very friendly and heartwarming staff. You can really feel that they are running a family business. The food is very delicious and the portions are great! The fish was fresh and very well done, the xaxiq had some chilli taste to it, which both my boyfriend and I enjoyed a lot! Although it is rich across their central market, the prices are fairly low (compared to other European countries) and you leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.

Not bad but wasnt good either, but its cheap and has traditional food. The owners were a little bit rough and the waiter was very young and inexperienced. If you want the classic albainan experience this is the place to go.

Just had another great meal here, I highly recommend the veal. We add lots of options, to share and both times we ate here came in at under €20. The owner is lovely and takes great pride in her food. If you are after honest cheap food, that tastes great. This place is for you. We will be back, before we go back to the UK

Einfaches Touristenrestaurant. Die Auswahl und Qualität ist nicht besonders. Wie in den umliegenden wahrscheinlich auch. Service ist wortkarg und mäßig freundlich. Relativ günstige Preise. Also alles in allem noch ok. Kann man machen - muss man aber nicht wenn es Alternativen gibt.

Ristorantino a conduzione familiare,ambiente spartano ma piatti tradizionali di ottimo livello ad un prezzo molto economico. Il personale è gentile e cerca di venire incontro a tutte le esigenze. Da provare!!!

My boyfriend and I had dinner here whilst in Tirana and I suppose it was alright. It's a family-run place which is kinda cute but they were fairly understaffed so it was quite a chaotic experience. The portions are kinda small so make sure to order multiple dishes. I didn't really like the food very much but my boyfriend thought it was fine. Not bad but not sure I would recommend.

Delicious home made food. Everything was simple and tasteful, especially the stuffed eggplant. The family serving us was very kind. Totally recommend if you’re visiting the market.

We came here after seeing the glowing reviews and were not disappointed! Super helpful staff with amazing local Albanian food. The atmosphere was really chill, the menu was big (but not too big!). We really enjoyed our dishes and the red wine. Would highly recommend!

Klein, aber fein. Leckeres, traditionelles Essen zu günstigen Preisen, vor allem Fleisch- und Fischgerichte, jedoch auch eine kleine vegetarische Auswahl, Bier und Hauswein. Karte teilweise auf Englisch übersetzt, ansonsten einfach fragen. Netter Restaurantbesitzer, der seinen eigenen Rakiya herstellt 😉 Unbedingt probieren!

Really cozy outdoor seating and the coldest beers imaginable. The food is affordable and really tasty. Came back here multiple times during our stay and highly recommend.
