I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of food. The pork ribs were amazing. A little fatty (I like that) and seasoned in an amazing way. Meat balls and sauce were great and the traditional casserole was incredible! Would 100% come again!

Interesting menu with Albanian specialties. I tried several starter items and it was all very good and tasty. As for the main course, I took a traditional dish with liver and onions but it was way to salty and the liver was really chewy. I told the waiter, they apologised and they didn't charge for it, which was very professional. The staff is extremely friendly and it's a well run place. Besides they all speak English.

I went to this restaurant to eat specific dishes i found on the internet. And when I arrived, i ate, and I liked the food but not the desert. i hoped to find trileces, but it was removed from the menu. The restaurant was busy when i visited.

Finally I found and tried the national dish here! Tave Kosi. It’s a lamb cooked in yogurt. Quite nourishing and I regretted ordering more dolma. I really liked their french fries. The restaurant itself is cozy, the staff is polite and the service is fast. of the minuses - they brought us warm wine in the summer, although we asked for cold.

Here’s an overview of my solo dining experience: Food: was okay, but not great. It was very saucy, to the point it was overwhelming. When I ordered and asked the waiter for suggestions, he just read the menu, every item, line by line… Service: this place is busy, and to the staff’s credit they are working hard. But there simply aren’t enough people working to manage the tables. Once it started filling up, I was virtually ignored as staff ran around the restaurant tending to the various guests. I waited nearly 25 min after my plate and glasses were empty to flag someone down for the bill…. Price: see the attached photo of the bill. After one week in Albania and only eating at restaurants, I found this to be poor value for money. Nb there’s a service charge although modest at 7% is automatically added. I had asked for two glasses of “house” wine, but the wine I was poured seems to be priced higher than the wines by the glass on the menu. Not sure what happened

We have had two wonderful meals at Era Villa since being in Tirana. The first time was so lovely we had to come back. The service is exceptional, the garden terrace beautiful and comfortable, and the food delicious. We started our first night with the mezze platter and rakia which was perfect for our first night in Albania. The meatballs with yogurt and pistachio were also a favorite. Thanks to our fabulous servers for taking such good care of us- you can tell they have all received formal dining service training and all spoke fantastic English. Huge menu with a great variety for all tastes. They also deliver and have an excellent app and website for ordering online. We've tried many things on their menu and have not been disappointed. Our absolute favorites are the kaçkavall cheese with sesame, beans with suxhuk sausage, ravioli with Aurora sauce, and veal casserole with pastry. Their desserts and pizza are ok, we definitely recommend trying the other portions of the menu. They offer options for all tastes and you cannot go wrong bringing less adventurous eaters here. The wait staff also speak a variety of languages. Service is good but occasionally slow (even during non busy times).

Era has always been my favourite place to eat in Tirana. We were greeted at the door by the manager and gave us plenty of options where to sit. The place was spotless and very clean. We had a main waiter that understood what we wanted and gave his suggestions. The staff was so pleasant and attentive to all our needs. Everything came out very fast and it was delicious. The pizza was good.The meat was so juicy and tender. The bread was warm. I loved the rice pudding 🍚 Even the traditional food was cooked with finesse and elevated to a better taste. I would definitely go back again.

Staying at the Marriott and the staff recommended this restaurant so we decided to get take out after a long day. We ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads, veal, and mushroom soup. The salads were DRENCHED in dressing and so soggy already after a one minute walk to our room. I didn’t think we would have to ask for dressing to be put on the side when ordering take out. Also the salads each only had 2 small pieces of chicken. The veal was decent and soup was okay. We also tipped the server who took our take out order 200 lek only to realize they already add a service charge to your bill even for take out. So we ended up tipping $4 on a $20 take out order unintentionally. The dollar amount isn’t a big deal but I wish there was transparency.
