I recently came back from a hiking trip organized by Zbulo!-Discover Albania. It was the hidden valley Zagorie tour and I loved every minute of it. The owners were very responsive from the first moment, I contacted them and everything worked out perfectly during the trip. Homestays were amazing, our guide was very friendly and helpful. Besides all this, Albania is a stunning country...I would love to go back!

We had a fabulous hike organised by Zbulo in September! We hiked from Valbone to Cerem, Doberdol and Babine Polje. The guest houses were all unique, welcoming, served wonderful local food and made the hike special! Our guide Adenis was wonderful! Full of interesting information and very helpful!

We made the Zbulo! Peaks of the Balkan 12-day tour in June 2022. Perfect itinerary, every single day had its own highlights, especially regarding the various different landscapes. Good selection of accommodations, which had more comfort than expected before e.g. warm shower was available everywhere :-), food was simple, local but always fresh. The two mountain guides were experienced , authentic and shared a lot about the trails, the mountains and the history of all three touched countries. While planning the trip, we thought about doing the trail on our own - looking back it was the best decision go for this well organized group trip last but not least because of the luggage transport. Thanks to Zbulo!, especially to our two guides and the other travelers of our group. Clear recommendation.

My partner and I were blown away by Ricardo and the team. There is so much co-ordination and organisation that went into our trip but it went so smoothly. Even when we felt sick we were offered alternative routes in order to continue our travel. All the guest houses were well run by lovely families with delicious food. The peaks themselves were absolutely awe-inspiring. We would not hesitate to book again.

What a fun trip! Hiking trails guided is actually a new experience for me. The majority of my hiking climbing trips over a lifetime have been self organized or small team organized. So hiring Zbulo to organized and execute a twelve day hike in the Balkan mountains was a surprisingly wonderful choice. I was hesitant to join 12 strangers for doing this adventure. However with the excellent organization and the enjoyable guides, our group bonded into a fun and caring group of trekkers. Each nightly guest house provided excellent food, beds and hot showers! Zbulo provides absolutely great service.

A true gift: Our group was less than ten members, we had a fantastic local guide, who was almost a member of the local farmer families we stayed at: Very special to be a guest in daily life of locals who master their lives in the mountain environment. A true cultural experience to share what they offer: Their homes, food, hospitality and friendliness. By hiking the ridge (and border)of the mountains, permanently crossing between Kosovo, Albania, North Mazedonia, it is not just a stunning nature experience. You become beware of (historical) reality hiking there, but of the life people up there had to copy with. A landscape and societey prior unkown for me. Zbulo! and their empathic and friendly guide Adriatik let me dive right into it. Great experience. @Zbulo!: Keep this way of tourism as long as you can. Small groups, close contact to the local people. A way to appreicate nature and people which hopefully many more hikers like me will enjoy!

We had a wonderful time in the mountains of Albania and Montenegro. Our tour was perfectly organised, all transfers were absolutely on time and reliable. The route and description were very good. The accommodation was typical for the country, clean and we were always very warmly welcomed. The food was always typical of the country, plentiful, fresh and very tasty. All in all, excellent and highly recommended.

Zbulo is an exceptionally well managed tour operator, which is amazing value and service for money. Everything is as expected and as said. I highly recommend this company. It is sad they haven’t extended beyond Albania and Kosovo yet. I hope they do.

Zbulo did exactly what it promised it would do, and delivered the three Border Crossing Permits within a week. A very straightforward process. Make sure to have your passport and the crossing dates ready before you start, and it should be a breeze.
