The Tirana walking tour with our guide Sokol was an absolute perfection! From the moment we met, he charmed us with his openess and warmness. After a nice breakfast near the new bazar, he took us on a "roller coster" through the Albanian capital and we enjoyed every single moment of it. From the Skenderbeg square, through the Blloku area, bypassing the pyramid with a pitstop for coffee (with raki, of course) in the Komiteti bar (it is a must see, half bar, half museum), all spiced up with the stories, only locals can tell. Continuing with an extremley interesting visit of the Bunk'art, and a huge, really delicious lunch, made of local specialities. The tour ended with the visit of the oldest villa in Tirana (and another coffee and raki). Believe it or not-everything lasted from 9.30 a.m. till almost 8 p.m. the feeling was as we were guided not only by an extremley skilled proffesional, but also by a friend. Unforgetable! If you will visit Tirana, don't hesitate and book this tour!
