We
stayed
here
for
two
nights
in
July,
in
a
private
room.
The
location
is
good
and
is
within
walking
distance
of
many
attractions.
The
hostel
felt
of
safe,
clean
and
tidy.
Lockers
are
available,
there
is
a
kitchen
and
laundry
service
available
for
a
fee
of
600
lek.
However,
compared
with
other
hostels
and
guesthouses
of
a
similar
cost
in
Albania,
this
one
wasn't
as
good.
The
room
we
stayed
in
was
uncomfortably
hot,
and
although
they
did
provide
us
with
fan,
the
window
was
broken
and
we
had
to
tie
it
open
with
string.
Furthermore,
the
room
was
sparse,
with
just
a
couple
of
beds
and
bedside
tables
(no
lamp,
no
bin,
no
chair).
The
room
had
no
curtains
which
resulted
in
early
morning
wake-ups
due
to
the
light.
Moreover,
the
room's
sloped
and
low
ceilings
posed
a
challenge
for
anyone
taller
than
165cm.
While
the
hostel
itself
was
fine,
we
found
it
lacking
in
atmosphere
and
character.
Information
displays
were
scarce,
and
being
volunteer-run,
the
staff
were
friendly
and
approachable,
but
had
limited
knowledge
about
the
area.
The
shared
bathroom,
although
clean,
had
an
unpleasant
odor
that
persisted
throughout
our
entire
stay.
