The Hotel is close to the airport and the reception is open 24 hrs. Richard at the desk is a very nice guy. He was very accommodating. The hotel is good for a quick stop over. As we did. Its a basic hotel. Rooms: The furnishing are The hotel on the overall needs attention. The room was adequate. The furnishings are dated. But that really does not bother as it is functional. Bathroom: this will require some attention, if you are used to a good 3 star hotel then this will look dated. They have an old fashioned tub that most of us hardly use these days. Not very functional for older guests. It can get dangerous. Hotel reception: Very old and really needs work as it does not look inviting at all. In fact I was a little apprehensive. Staff: very helpful. They were very helpful. Price: moderate for the location and hotel. Prepare exact change as they usually cant provide you with change. Breakfast: No comments as we left early. Breakfast time starts at 7:45am.

Rooms were good for the price.. But service was really bad.. Person at the reception (morning duty) behaves very rude during check in if we book the rooms through online.. We have booked 2 deluxe rooms for 2 days via makemytrip.. We have paid the amount online.. But during check in, the person said thier system was not updated and asked us to wait for 15 mins.. He was repeatedly asking us why did we pay online and to call and book directly in future.. At some point we got frustrated and asked if he can provide room or I can raise a complaint in makemytrip for refund.. Finally he allocated us a normal room saying all deluxe rooms were occupied.. Since it was already late we had to agree and stayed there.. Also Rooms were not cleaned after a day even we reminded them multiple times..

The room was perfect and so comfortable.. The service provider named sharukh was so kind and assisted us from evening to midninght, due to some congestion we were not able to to reach the hotel at given time, but he provided us a premium room, assisted us a at 1 am.. so satisfied with the room and the service. Also served with a excellent and high quality food with variety.

I stayed in the hotel for a day and we got upgraded to premium Room and it quite spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was 90% south Indian variety included healthy options like broken wheat upma for diabetic patients. spread was decent enough. the room was quiet place we got good rest. Reception customer service was good and accommodating . Good hotel within budget. If I visit Trichy again I will book in Shaans.

Comfortable rooms that were well maintained and neat. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms and seating. Everything worked well. The rooftop restaurant was good with a nice city view. Parking was available and the Chinese restaurant served great Chinese food. Loved their desert options.

Actually it’s very bad.. we have booked nearly 10+ rooms, they charged for even water bottles.. I have stayed even in 3 star rooms in other places, they didn’t charge any amount there. It’s so worst . Just try to change it. And give more compliment to the customers who used to book rooms regularly and bulk.

Positive experience..Got a standard AC room and.it was comfortable and clean. They have a Gym and also provide complementary breakfast for the price. Staff were kind and helpful.

Stayed in this hotel for two days. this is a good properly with covered car park. Rooms are spacious and well placed. All amenities were provided. The complimentary breakfast area was unpleasant. The manager was screaming as the hotel staffs. The place was so noisy. This should be avoided and a calm and happy place would be preferable.

Shaans as a hotel is one of the best.. Food is top class.. but the problem is with their bar which is in roof top. A beer costs Rs.400 and that's not the issue.. The issue is with their lethargic service and poor complimentary side dishes for the liquor. The other hotel bar like red fox.. le temps.. PLA.. SONAAS give best service and complimentary side dish.. But here despite high cost their complimentary snacks and the lazy service is cause of concern. We need to call the sevice guy 4-5 times for getting us heard.. This poor service is seen twice in last one week when I visited 2 times. Earlier they were good with old vintage sevice man giving good care. Other guys are just lazy and inattentive. They shd improve.

A decent hotel by Trichy standards. Hotel is dated and the rooms are showing signs of that. The service was generally good, but getting anything done via the front service desk was very slow. Many calls needed to be made to get anything done. The food at the restaurant was really good and the service was good.

My experience was shans hotel and thaai restaurant was fantastic. I was on a unexpected travel so I was not able to book in rooms prior. So I went to the hotel directly and checked the rooms. Everything the room, bathrooms was all crystal clean. I enjoyed my stay absolutely. The restaurant head Pratap is really a people's person and very warm welcoming. The food taste was very good. Thank you.

Ambience is good. Food quality can vary between ordinary to outstanding depending on your luck. Some of their delicacies include Cheese corn balls and crab lollipop

I stay two days there. They didn't clean my room until my day end. From 1st day to 2nd day I used same bedsheet ,ohilow cover and towel and ext...*** I inform them while I leaving hotel morning to evening came back the didn't do the job. ***2 nd time I inform to reception they said it will clean now give few minutes. Then also didn't happen. ***Finally I inform by rooms phone call then also didn't get any response. So didn't clean.i felt very bad stay. as a this hotel guest I was very bad 2 days stayed uncleanness I am giving single star to this only for food.

I am Balachander from Chennai stayed on 23/2:23 for a marriage, I used stay often but this time I had a bad experience since poor hospitality, uncultured staffs and front office, I tried to take up lift from car park since I have a breathing issues they abruptly denied and also argued and trying to justify their act, this is a experience for a known person to the city, think of peoples travelling from other states and countries? 👎🏽

We stayed at this hotel a day ago.. firstly our entire stay right from the booking, check in ,check out and Airport drop was well organised by the front office staff Mr. Govind.. who is very professional and responsible and organised person himself. Secondly with rooms, they were very clean, decent, hygienic and spacious. We enjoyed our dinner at the in house restaurant as the food was very tasty at its best. Morning breakfast buffet spread was really amazing with variety of South Indian dishes, we just enjoyed it. Infact we were feeling to extend our stay simply just because we liked this place very much . It's really worthy for what you pay. Our trip to the Airport was just in 15 mins from this hotel that's the added advantage. A very good place for families, friends, groups, singles to stay in. Strongly recommend.

Went for lunch with a group of 8. We had veg dishes. They were great. Service was good as well. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

I stayed in this hotel for 5days with family (Rooms 318 & 319). The hotel is a small but descent one. It is in the main business area about 3.5km from Tiruchirapalli railway station. The hotel serves free breakfast in the morning. There is descent Thai restaurant attached. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food here. All the staff (both in the restaurant and lodge) are very polite and well groomed. A special mention should be made of Mr Prathap who is the captain in the Thai restaurant. He was very professional in delivering his services. I was greatly impressed by him.

Neat rooms, decent breakfast buffet and tasty food from restaurant. But its not a must pick for kids as ther is no outdoor area of any sorts for free play.( No balcony also)

It's located at a prime location. The restaurant is great, the party halls are nice, the rooms are clean and tidy as well. Good parking space and service as well.

Parking issue. Never recommend marriage function hall. I visited for 10 March 2023 marriage here. Planned for 700 nearly people lunch. But shaans management planned for 300 meals and adjust it for 700 people it seems. But they'll charge for 700 meals . Good tactics. Very good management. Earlier the management was good. But now it seems some useless idiot has taken incharge. Final comments. Shaans going to be like Femina and Gajapriya soon. I will never recommend my family for any marriage functions in stupid management shaans in future. After seeing this comment definitely management will respond in wrong sense only. I don't care. Worst service during lunch accommodation for marriage.

Actually people were friendly. The receptionist, the person who took orders in the hotel. They were naturally friendly. I actually felt that the Trichy population are generally friendly. I am giving 4 stars only because they have timings for room service. They take orders after 7:30 at night or 12:30 in the afternoon. If you want to have french fries at around 11:30am you don't get it. But for the people out there I give 5 stars

The place is open for dining. Had ordered chinese (mixed non veg noodles and garlic chicken gravy), mutton thali, chicken lolipop and nalli masala. Must say was pleasantly surprised. The Chinese food was really good. The mutton thali was good, but the mutton kulambu in it was not that great. The nalli masala was good. The best was the chicken lolipop. The chicken was fresh and made perfectly..the melt in the mouth types. Would highly recommend this place 👍

Well, had a pleasant and wonderful stay for almost a week! We could successfully accomplish all our proposed work and various Temple darshans. The complimentary breakfast was quite good! Appreciate Raj's helpfulness and patience. All the housekeeping and other hotel staff were very good and helpful. Further, Sudha, the GRE was excellent, notably with her communication skill. Also, highly commendable was her attitude and attentiveness. Always smiling and polite. Definitely, she made our stay very comfortable and happy!

Good food and efficient service a little bit expensive but worth it

We arrived at Tirchy at breakfast. We were searching for a good hotel to have breakfast but found only few small restaurants. We were wondering if people of Tirchy love to eat out or not. After awhile we found Hotel Shaans. It's a hotel with restaurant and people can walk in to have breakfast. It was open and serving breakfast. We decided to have breakfast here. The restaurant is quite decent and is neat and clean. It was a buffet system. We could have unlimited breakfast for Rs. 150/- per plate. There were variety of dishes offered along with tea and coffee. It was a pure veg breakfast. Even though the food items were fresh, the taste was not so great.

Located at a vantage place, this hotel lacks in many disciplines. When we opened the doors to our room we were shocked to see there's no electricity inside. The staff took half day long to bring us the proper fobs that helped restoring power inside our room. Don't rely on GPRS when you drive around Tiruchy for there's so many blockades and horrific traffic diversions. Our friend from USA almost missed his flight home. The city is a complete mess, let alone saying anything good about staying at Shaans.

I have started visiting this place since 2005/2006, and have become a regular visitor since 2011 to 2016 and on and off till now. Slight changes in infrastructure renovation, ambience of the bar etc. But they are meeting the standard in hospitality, quality, taste and tries to satisfy the customer in whatever the way they can.

The stay was good but the room service was not up to the mark. They gave a smoking room for a family of 4 without any room freshners applied. They brought the food ordered to room really slow that the dishes got cold by the time we ate. If they ran low on staff they could mention that only their restaurants are serviceable. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant, the one time we had dinner at the Thaai restaurant was good, especially the desserts.

We stayed for a day.both room and bathroom size is small but very neat. Exhaust fan in the bathroom is always switched on as there is no ventilation which is little bit noisy. Good room service.complimentary breakfast is good.

I celebrated my daughter 1st birthday here well maintained and awesome food. I took a room and one of my friends already clocked into the room then I reached by late night and early morning and i see that the gate isn't latched by any sort and security gaurd at the door is deep asleep and there's no one at the reservation for any sort of assistance. Then later when i was trying to take a nap the central AC has a loud bass heavy noise, I don't know what was the cause of the noise but it sounded irritating when i was trying to take a nap. Then I found cockroaches in my bathroom, this is completely unacceptable for someone paying almost ₹4000. The experience otherwise was good 👍🏻
