Alipiri is the gateway to Thirumala hills. Both for those who go by walk and vehicles as well. A very pleasant place and the view of the mountains is an awesome experience. Here Go Pradhikshana Sala is nearby.

Awesome circle. Always there is a lot of movement of vehicles, buses, two wheelers. Be careful when you get down for photography.

It's the entrance to tirumala, there will be a default security check on the spot, be prepared to show your baggage for quick check. Has restroom nearby and a vast space to park & refresh before climbing the hill. No entrance charges. For two Wheeler there is a timing to go down the road.

Tirupati one word explains many magic. All our good wishes becomes true here. Positive vibe. All in one place. You can enjoy the nature by riding through the ghat road or mountain trekking path. Climate is cool and pleasant. Once you see lord Venkateswara and Padmavati thaayar after waiting for long hours you will feel fulfilled and happier. No words to explain. Everyone will feel the magic once you visit Tirupati. Roads are clean and neat. One way for up hill ride and another for down hill ride. They check perfectly to maintain cleanliness and security purposes. Akash ganga must be visited during Tirupati trip. A divine place for refreshment. Bob voyage and have a fulfilled Darshan. Om namo narayanaya.

This is the main point when you go for Tirumala for seeking the blessings of Shri Venkateshwar Swami ji. Here you find APSRTC Buses or Taxi, Jeep to go upside to hills. Many people start their yatra on foot from here. At few distance , security checking is there after that you can continue ur journey to Tirumala. First time , I carried the regional look, shirt with dhoti. I love to visit this place again and again.

Alipiri Padala Mandapam or Alipiri is the place at foot of seven hills in Tirupati, the pilgrim city of Sri Venkateswara Swami. Tirupati Alipiri is one of two ways to reach Tirumala on foot. Alipiri is also the foot of two road ways, one up and one down leading to Tirumala through the Seven Hills. It is therefore called "The Gate Way to Tirumala Venkateswara Temple"

Visited on 13 JAN 24, if you walk non stop, it will take 3 hours to reach, Tirumala . Currently there is no Divya Dharshan tokens for those who are walking , all are need to get SSD tokens which is Sarava Dharshan token from near by alipiri gate. If you get token at 4am , your darshan time will be 4PM same day . 12 Hours when average foot fall before day is 60k .

It is the entrance of tirumala hill for vheicles towards SRI VENKATESWARA SWAMY VAARI TEMPLE, Tirumala, Tirupati.

Alipiri is the longer route with 3550 steps, Srivari Mettu is shorter with 2388 steps. A long time ago, pilgrims used to climb all Seven Hills through the stepped way on foot because there were no other options.

UPDATE from April 1, 2023 Divya Darshana for Pedestrians is now OPEN! No need to buy Sarva Darshana Tickets. Alipiri Pathway opens at 4 AM and the enter is on the left side of Garuda Statue. There is a free Dorm Hall for your short stay and Free Luggage Transport facility that opens at around 3-4 AM. Do not keep delicate things in it as it might get broken during transport in lorry. Open bags are also not allowed but this is a great facility if you cover your journey on foot. After SriVari darshana, you submit the token received and get your luggage back. I would recommend physically able pilgrims to take the Alipiri Footpath to reach the temple as you will feel the unparalleled satisfaction of Darshana afterwards. Om Namo Venkateshaya.

Garuda Statue, Alipri is the gateway of Tirumala hills. The Garuda statue is almost 20feet height and looks fascinating. Garuda Statue is the starting point of the 2nd Ghat road (Tirupati to Tirumala) and end point the 1st ghat road (Tirumala to Tirupati). Alipiri footpath or dharma darshana walking steps also starts from this juncture only. This statue is the landmark for all vehicle entry gateway from Tirupati to Tirumala.

Opened up to evening 4. Luggage Transportation to tirumala will also available at the starting point of this place. So, it will be easy to us to climb the hill.
