Had
stayed
here
when
the
Covid
travel
restrictions
were
lifted.
Stayed
in
the
superior
room
that
was
in
the
main
wing
of
the
resort.
Room
was
spacious
with
great
bathroom
and
a
lovely
sit
out
from
where
you
could
see
the
sea.
However
the
room
looked
run
down
and
needed
some
deep
cleaning
and
finishing.
The
buffet
restaurant
for
breakfast
had
a
decent
spread
with
above
average
food.
The
Taj
staff
had
spaced
the
tables
well
and
had
placed
only
sealed
utensils
packets
on
the
table.
For
dinner
we
had
opted
for
the
Ala
Carte
instead
of
the
buffet
because
it
did
seem
chaotic,
nevertheless
the
grilled
sandwich
and
pizza
they
had
served
was
awesome.
Didn’t
try
the
seafood
restaurant,
but
i
am
guessing
it
would
make
a
great
spot
to
have
dinner.
Now
the
real
highlight
of
the
place
is
the
access
to
the
pristine
beach
and
waters.
The
property
is
well
spaced
out
with
sea
facing
bungalows
and
new
set
of
apartment
rooms
which
overlook
the
private
beach
enclosure
of
Taj.
It
was
truly
a
pleasure
walking
on
the
beach
during
the
mornings
and
evenings.
The
hotel
has
also
arranged
reclining
seats
on
the
beach
to
rest
and
rejuvenate
while
soaking
the
sun.
There
is
a
games
room
available
for
kids
and
adults
to
play.
The
property
also
has
cycles
available
to
explore
the
property.
The
cycles
were
not
in
the
best
of
shape
but
one
could
make
do
with
them
for
a
short
while.
The
property
is
also
not
very
far
from
Chennai
,
a
short
40
mins
drive
from
the
city
along
the
scenic
East
Coast
Road.
For
the
tariffs
and
for
the
name
associated
with
the
Taj
Group
I
would
definitely
hold
the
property
to
higher
standards
to
which
I
would
say
I
was
tad
disappointed.
