Just two stars for the kindness of housekeeping and lady at the breakfast service. Check in via website, all communications were in German. We were teach/drive by another customer on what to do and he was complaining as well as the day before took him couple of hours to get in. To open all doors ( room, sauna, hotel ) via phone app and if you forget the phone or got faulty or battery down then no access...... We choose this hotel due to the swimming pool and spa but on sunday we found a message that those were closed almost all noon due to filming...... Remote work does not fit for all businesses and definitely not in this manner. If i will return ? No, we can find other structures with same price and service but less stressful.

The view is unbelievable! If you wanna stay there I would recommend to get a room with a balcony so you can truly enjoy the scenery. The pool was really small and not so tempting and if you are going there in winter make sure to use the right tire or a chain since the way is too steep. All in all we enjoyed our stay in the Panaroma Hotel and I only gave one star less since we didn't feel that welcomed by the staff, specially the restaurant manager.

Small hotel with amazing view on top of the mountains. Small selection of buffet for breakfast which was delicious. Staffs are friendly. The timings are flexible. Appart from the view and surrounding, they also have sauna and indoor swimming pool 😍 If you want to stay, take the rooms with balcony. The view is amazing. You will feel like you are in some other world ♥️

Nice view, delicious food and good wine. The staff was very kind and helpful. Points of improvement: the mattresses and pillows are too soft; cleaning would need a bit more attention.

We had a good stay in Hotel Sonnenalm. Breakfast was excellent. Swmimming pool and sauna : good. Only the steam bath did not function during the week, we were in the hotel. Dinner : was good. In form of buffet.

We chose the hotel because of its central location (easy access to all points of interest in the black forest) and also to get a taste of German rural life. It proved to be a wise decision (if you have a car). We are a family of five and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small and quiet, it has a swimming pool and sauna and offers fresh and high quality breakfast. The dinner (unfortunately we could only dine twice during our six day stay) was of very high quality. Unfortunately because of the small number of guests it had a set menu with an option for a salad bar and a vegetarian menu. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We also used the card that gives you access to a lot of activities (lake cruises, theme parks and the toboggan - Hasenhorn Rodelbahn - which we used 3 times, do not miss it). I would definetely recommend for a family with children, A lot of things to do, perfect scenery and lovely - friendly hotel.

We recently had a very pleasant stay at hotel Sonnenalm . Travelling to Todtnauberg to do some skiing , with my family and some friends , with two 11 year olds . The location is excellent , half way up the side of the valley with wonderful views of the Black Forest . And only a few minutes walk to the Buck ski lift and ski school .Our host was very accommodating - providing a vegan evening meal every night of our stay . The lounge area has a lovely circular room , with large windows overlooking the spectacular view . The pool was great , the kids loved it . There is also a steam room and sauna - ideal after a day on the slopes . Highly recommend .

Great hotel with lovely views out into the Black Forest. The self check in and out, while off at first was actually very handy.
