Finally checked this off the list and truthfully I hate to share how good the stay was as this place books out fast!!! Great place for a staycation away from the bustle of life and a train persons dream. The cabooses are outfitted like miniature rooms and are nice and quiet at night. Do your research on the area to know what you want for dinner entertainment etc. There is some industrial noise from the plant next door but it's not bad. Fire rings are available and there are several stores close by for those forgotten essentials. Also next door to the train station so if you plan correctly you can stay at one and ride at the other. They are two different independently ran facilities so you will have to book separately.

We come every year. The caboose along with the train ride is such a great experience. The caboose is clean and well kept.

We came out this way from NY during the R100 bow shoot. I was excited about finding this place! The Caboose room was cute & cozy, the bed was bouncy but stuff like that makes me laugh. Everything was clean! Only suggestion, is the angle of the TV when you're laying down, the picture is dark. Although we didn't try adjusting it because we didn't want to break anything. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone coming into the area.

Very cool experience for train enthusiasts! Limited space, so they tend to book up. The hotel rooms are actual cabooses that have been retrofitted as (clean & inexpensive!) hotel rooms. Rooms have basic hotel amenities, such as 2 full-size beds (not sure if any rooms have king size), chairs, phones, complementary soaps, make up remover, plenty of linens, air conditioning, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with coffee & tea, TV, and heaters. It's a little tight, but roomier than I expected. Excellent proximity for riding the Titusville and Oil Creek Railway (literally on the same site) and they give discounted train rides to hotel guests. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because the beds weren't very comfy.

We had a king room in 1002. Everything was nice & clean, a/c was powerful, staff was kind & the bed is a bouncy spring mattress. We appreciated the access to ice as well. Good location in town.

We enjoyed our unique experience in the Caboose Motel. It was all we needed for our one night stay. We were in town to see a band. Only thing I’d do is take an extra pillow, personal preference. The king size bed was comfy. Next time we’d stay in one without the overhead windows under a street light. Again a personal preference as to if you like sleeping in the dark. It was fun and we’d probably do it again. Caboose 1007. Everyone we dealt with in the booking and check in were very friendly and helpful.

Love the caboose. Wish we could have gotten a sticker or t-shirt for the visit. Very peaceful area, very cute town. Wonderful things within driving distance to the Caboose Motel.

We had an awesome time staying 2 nights in our caboose! Rode the train as well. My adult son is developmentally disabled and loves trains. He was over the moon on this trip. He also loved watching the machines at the shop next door.
