I believe this was the most interesting beautiful and fun outdoor spot we visited in Tivoli. The man made tunnel for overflow during floods to the natural made bridges are all incredible in there own ways. The hikes up and down were fantastic. I felt like I was in a bit of wonderland. It was a hot day and to arrive in the tunnels with cool flowing water created the most wonderful cooling sensation. This is a special and well worth walking the entirety in my opinion!

This place is like a small hiking spot in the middle of the city. We had a great view - the tour took approx. 90 min.

The track in this villa is beautiful, spectacular and amazing. Along the entire route you can see the waterfall which looks really beautiful. The track is well built and there is a good atmosphere. I recommend visiting it.

Wow, what a place! You can see what nature can do with water. I recommend visiting after Villa d’Este, where you can observe what man can do with water. I also recommend to save more time, because it is great to enjoy the cool air near the waterfalls, while the heat outside is extreme.

This is a combination of natural and man made architectural ruins. We took a train to tivoli and entered in this at 10 am. We covered the place in 2.5 hours, we didnt hurry. We booked our ticket in advance. There are minimum 5-6 waterfalls. Its an amazing place. Ticket costs 8 Euro per person. Dont miss out to go near the falls. It feels wonderful!

Lots of steps but and awesome walk along beautiful gardens with historic meaning. Get yourself comfy shoes to hike and your camera ready. The round trip from Rome is 6€ and the places there are very good.

Villa Gregoriana in Tivoli holds a special place in my heart. As I explored its lush landscapes and stunning waterfalls, I felt a deep connection to nature's raw power and beauty. The rugged terrain and dramatic cliffs created a sense of adventure and discovery. Standing by the Great Waterfall, I was awestruck by its sheer force and the soothing sound of cascading water. It was a serene escape from the bustling world, a place where I could immerse myself in the wonders of nature. Villa Gregoriana is a hidden gem that captivates the soul and reminds us of the awe-inspiring forces that shape our world.

Absolutely gorgeous place! This natural park offers beautiful sceneries, great views, long paths, amazing waterfalls and a lot of greenery. There is a small cave as well. The park itself is quite big, so prepare to spend here around 2 hours, and better shoes are recommended, since the terrain is rugged and sometimes steep(and that's also why I wouldn't recommend to come here with small children). At the entrance, they give you a map with all the stops - there are also several places marked that you can skip if you want to spend less time in the park.

It was a little but tougher hike than we expected but worth every stair. Nice views, you can chill during hot days around waterfalls. Nice experience, if you have any disability or can’t handle A LOTS of stairs, be aware! During Semptember weekday afternoon it was almost empty of tourist. So nice to escape Rome’s crowds.

Beautiful location. Your journey starts from the main entrance going deep down into the canyon and discovering some grottos too. Entrance ticket is 8€ per person and it takes around two hours to explore the whole site. It absolutely worth the ticket and the time spent over here.

Very nice short walk (around 90 minutes if you take some detours) through beautiful nature. Worth the 8€ entry fee. If you want to be away from a lot of people and don't mind the higher temperatures go around midday.

A genuinely lovely place. Some of the most amazing views I have seen. With Villa Gregoriana only being a five minute walk from the train station and only 50 minutes outside of Rome, it's definitely worth a visit. It's an hour and 45 minute walk however we were there for over 3 hours once we had done some of the smaller paths and taken time to take everything in. Definitely worth the price for the ticket. The staff there were very nice and extremely helpful.

A great walk to the bottom of the valley and up the other side finishing at the temple of Sybil. There isn't much left of the villa so just be aware of that. It's mostly about the walk, the views and the waterfalls. It wasn't too strenuous but there are mossies so bring the insect repellent!

Beautiful. Amazing. A little taste of paradise. Just be careful though. I'm fairly fit but have a quite bad knee. I struggled with the steps as a result. So, make sure you're strapped up.

The Villa Gregoriana is actually an "accessory" of the primary structure, which is the hydraulic structure. Set over the ancient Roman villa of Manlius Vopiscus, the Villa was built in 1834 on the basis of the directives of Cardinal Rivarola and carried out under the control of Msgr. Massimo and the architect Folchi. The park is amazing, quiet and you can relax for hours just watching the nature, the waterfall and the sound of the birds.

Take a gorgeous stroll through lush vegetation. View the falls from up to or at the bottom (highly recommend), walk through an ancient Roman Villa, stroll through a hand carved tunnel down to Neptune's grotto to view the raging waters as they fall through the rock. Truly a fantastic experience that shouldn't be missed if you venture out to Tivoli.

MAGICAL EXPERIENCE!!! Perfect way to escape from Rome’s heat by visiting Villa Gregoriana and it’s beautiful waterfalls & nature. If you love nature, waterfalls, hiking (short distance), then this is the place for you. Can’t wait to go back!

Views are amazing. Signage and map don’t match. Ended up at dead ends a few times. €10 per person isn’t really worth it.

Waterfalls are breath taking . The only downside part is that the man-made falls were not like the photos and some didn't existed anymore . (The one under the bridge for example) On top of that the temple which supposed to be the grand Finale has a up class resturant just next to it which ruins the autencity and historical part of it . They could have avoided that to happen

A beautiful gorge with waterfalls and trails that run down and up again.. Totally picturesque and you'll feel like you're on a real adventure but be warned.. It's a steep climb up and down but totally worth it!

Wonderful waterfalls and ancient ruins! The lush forest has an almost tropical feel, and the limestone formations are weird and fascinating. The hilltop town has an authentic feel away from the tourist throng. They even have a duomo and a castle!

Very beautiful and impressive garden, but difficult to walk during hot summer.

This is some serious walking and not suited for summer….. appreciate the historical significance of this place but be ready to sweat….

A bit overpriced. If you get bored and nothing to do in the neighborhood but want to take a walk for exercising, it could be an option (not the first choice).

If you visit Tivoli, I would strongly recommend you to visit Villa Gregoriana. We almost got lost as all the signs are in Italian but the view is amazing! At least 3-4 hours are required for the hike.

Fantastic place. Amazing waterfall and cliff. You will need to go a lot of steps up and down. But sights will be beautiful! Recommend!

One of the most beautiful places to visit near Rome. You can arrive easily to Tivoli by train and visit a few landmarks in a day, this one included. I would definitely recommend visiting on the summer period, it's very fresh and relaxing, specially near the waterfalls and inside the caves. The walking trail is a bit long, bring comfortable shoes. There are bathrooms and benches on your way down to stop and rest every once in a while. You end up going out on the other side of bridge where you can see part of a small temple of Tibur.

Well worth the hour train ride out of Rome to see this beautiful man-made nature reserve. Well maintained and so much fun to explore, you'll definitely want to figure out your panoramic camera for this place. To visit, you should wear sensible trainers/walking shoes and be ready for some uneven ground and lots of steps/hills.

The best place so far I have visited in Italy. Nice canyon, great views, grottos. We combined Villa D'este and this villa in one day train trip from Rome. It was really great escape! Highly recommend! PS we visited it in December and it was still worth it!

Amazing national Park. You can go through the whole park in about 1,5 hours, so great for a stop in between

BEAUTIFUL place, wear sport shoes because there's a lot of up and downs. There's a student reduction so you only pay 5 euros which is totally worth it. You must go see it the waterfalls are beautiful.

Villa Gregoriana is a true trip in tue past and it’s a must see (together with Villa Adriana). It’s easy to imagine ancient Romans enjoying this corner of nature paradise. Art and nature mixed together creating an amazing experience of travel and discovery of the western world
